He was just saying that to gloat. Went on to say that Republicans were going to repeal and replace the act "almost" simultaneously, and that his cabinet would put forth a plan for replacing it as soon as the nominees get confirmed.
But, who the fuck really knows?
What's Trump going to do when he actually has to do something?
He's really good at running his mouth, but uh, selling himself and stuff isn't the job anymore. -
CNN is really ticked about being grouped together with BuzzFeed and the way Trump is singling them out and calling them fake news. Just watched a piece where they compared Trump's treatment of the press to Nixon's around Watergate.

CNN was my number two source for all things SHAMEFUL that CROOKED HILLARY did, so hey, fuck 'em.

But I also am hopeful that he'll get impeached in the first year, so there's that.

And because of shit like this is why I've seen ads regarding petitions to close down the Clinton Foundation.

Nixon by this point is dancing around purgatory like Jennifer Beals at the end of Flashdance.

And the source of that uranium scoop is literally Clinton Cash, which apparantly the NYT considers a more trustworthy source than an MI6 agent who's been described as higly reliable.

These news outlets and wikileaks have made people hella stupid and gullible. I just had a guy link me to a news story about UK Ambassor who apparently has it on good authority the DNC email leaks were put out by a disgruntled DNC staffer.
Never mind the fact
A) No one's corroborated the claim.
B) The aforementioned ambassador has strong ties to wikileaks.
C) The writer of the story he linked me to pretty much mentions in the outset of the story, that the source for the claim The Daily Mail has credibility issues.Like have forgotten how to read or something?

Fucking monsters don't care if 20 million people die or go bankrupt. As someone whose family is only surviving because of the ACA, I have nothing but hatred in my heart for every single Republican who voted for this. Fuck you all!

are they retarded thet do this just because obama did it ?
If they are this retarded how the fuck they reached into senateThey convinced a bunch of uneducated morons that the law as a whole was bad and those morons wound up voting them into power. Comically enough a number of these people have insurance because of the law but as shown earlier in this thread many don't realize the fact that the ACA and Obamacare are the same thing so they blindlessly insist Obamacare is bad while ignoring the irony of such a statement.
-
"It will not be my intention to do anything that will benefit any American” — Ben Carson at his confirmation hearing
-
Oh man. I wonder how they will blame the Democrats when 20 mil people will lose their insurance? By saying they refused to back their flawed plans? (AFAIK none of their plans are going to give coverage to as many people as the ACA did)
-
That's exactly what they'll do if it happens. Unless Republicans can come up with a plan that covers as many people and at a cheaper cost Democrats should oppose any plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The GOP has no interests in anything other than making the rich even more so.
-
I am not fully convinced that people in, say, Middle Pennsylvania or West Virginia won't find a way to believe the Republicans and vote again for the people who want them to die of preventable diseases and childbirth.
-
The most annoying about being a type 1 diabetic has always been the insurance and cost of supplies. And now the potential for it to get worse is becoming more real? Yeah, no thanks, republicans >.>

Of course they will. It's what they've been doing for decades now after all.
And why the enormous bullshit of "THE GOP SPEAKS TO THESE PEOPLE, DEMS" that was cascading everywhere after the election stinks so much.
It speaks to them alright, but not about fixing shit.–- Update From New Post Merge ---
The silence of the Trump voters here has become insanely deafening over the past month. Like they straight up stopped posting, or posting about him period.
Its like a bunch of young people voting for the first or second time genuinely bought into Robo style South Park logic, because naw no way is it crazy lopsided in one direction these days in terms of extremes. Naw. Naw real life is also like the niche internet shit, and Tumblr people are actually super powerful and everywhere, and need to be put in check by an orange asshole.REALITY IS A BITCH HUH

Is also the time that they have to do nothing. Poke those wasp hives and see what happens.

Life and dying are still the standard. Especially if you're among the millions of people who have insurance under the ACA.

I'm curious to know what Ryan's (likely pathetic) response to that was.

I like how the Republicans claim they'll replace it with something that works for everything while not explaining how they'll get around the fact that the current repeal plans remove any potential revenue streams for a replacement.
-
Can't wait to see what they replace it with. Hopefully there isn't too big a lapse in coverage for those of us covered under the ACA.
-

Only about 4 to 8 years, possibly more.
-
The ACA was the Republican plan. At this point, the most likely plan would just be the more popular elements of Obamacare without any of the cost controls and they'll pretend the resulting chaos is because of Democrats.
-
Yeah, you get the sense that Republicans will just repeal whatever they want from Obamacare and then claim Democrats are obstructing them from putting in some kind of replacement, even though any replacement they might suggest would be woefully inadequate and a poor substitute.

John Lewis says Trump is an illegitimate president and won't attend his inaugeration.

And will actually be worsr than what already exist.

So… Peegate is basically being confirmed by multiple sources, not just the one MI agent now, and there's probably quite a few bad video (with audio) that could be "embarassing".
The peeing hookers of course being the small stuff compared to how many billions he probably owes Putin.

I actually wish in historical hindsight we could have one of those deals where Trump doesn't get counted as canon. Like he's shuffled into some side asterisk category.
In future high school text books on the "list of presidents" page there'd be a "Just For Laughs!" info box on the side that would include stuff like Taft getting stuck in a bath tub, Ford falling out of air force one, and the entire existence of the Trump presidency. -
Well, there's always the chance of a William Harrison style presidency. History books don't have much to say about him either due to his sudden case of death.
An almost immediate impeachment would be a blemish but would do much the same thing.
Shame about Pence also being awful, but at least he's not likely to nuke things.

I also don't expect Pence to erode democracy with strongman bullshit.

I feel like we should make Maxterdexter the official current events administrator, as our resident guy who knows more about populist strongmen destroying society than anyone.
He's great too because the pro-Trump/Farage/La Len people will freeze up real quick when they learn his experience comes from a left-wing populist. -

I didn't expect to want to see stories of a golden man getting peed on, but this is where I am now. Everyday this story isn't dropped is a good day. I want to see this brought to it's conclusion, as revenge for that stupid birther thing. If it leads to evidence of treason, then so be it.

Looks like something really serious is out there if even Republicans aren't obstructing anymore.

A combination of
-this stuff is shaping up really clearly be TRUE and with actual facts to back it instead of just obvious observation
-They don't want Trump in there either.
-No investigation is going to be damning enough in the next 7 days to stop Trump, which is why it can get traction now instead of 6 months ago when the report first hit.
-They don't have to keep making fake stories about Hillary anymore
-They're getting everything they want regardlessIf Trump's impeached and thrown out after a week, that's a black mark sure, but they'll be fine with that… as long as it happens after inauguration so there's no arguing about Pence being next in line instead of Clinton.
