28 vote difference in Florida right now.
Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!

The fact that Texas wasn't red out of the gate should be making whatever long-term strategists are left in the GOP panic.
-
aaaand Texas is red again by 50,000 votes. That will continue to grow, but the blue was nice for the two minutes it lasted.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Geebus Fliorida. 46% in and your TIED by a margin of 30 votes. Dammit Johnson, its 2000 all over again.
Texas is blue again!
-
PArt of it, also former Texas gov and pres. Bush. None of the Bushes endorse TRump, and they still have a following in Texas
Oh Yeah I forgot about the Bushes. I heard Bush Sr. didn't vote for either candidate. I would laughed my ass off if Texas ever became blue.
-
Lol texas blue again
-
I can't wait to spend the next 16 years arguing with third party voters about how much of an asshole they collectively are
-
@Cyan:
Would the Dems still support minority rights? Then yes.
I think you're oversimplifying. It isn't strange that marginalized groups are drawn to populism and unflattering ideals. In this case we're talking people who were largely democrat previously.
-
Trump is ahead like 10,000 votes in Florida right now on Clinton with 60% reporting in.
-
Wayne county which houses detroit is temporarily red, only 1 of 999 precincts though lol

"It's your own fault for nominating a weak crooked candidate!"

They stopped being Democrats specifically because Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act.
-
It is almost like Team Fortress 2 is happening on Texas.
-
annnnnd Texas is red again.
-
Pennsylvania, you're drunk. Go home.
-
We know Miami-Dade yet?
-

Fuck nuance and all that shit then.

They weren't though. They were swingy votes at best, and very Republican at worst
-
"It's your own fault for nominating a weak crooked candidate!"
"We didn't cost Hillary the election democrats voted for Trump when they should've voted for Hillary"
-
Democrats close to gaining majority in senate apparently?
-
And Texas is blue again
-
Part of the reason Texas is flipping is because San Antonio has already reported in a little bit, and that's 250,000 votes for Clinton and 195,000 for Trump. (But only one precinct so far, but if that holds for the others…) Austin and Houston and the other big cities will probably follow suit, but then the other giant chunks of state will turn the tide on it. Its how it usually goes, with the big cities going democrat and the other 98% of the landmass going republican... but the big cities might actually make it a damn race this time.
Texas is a biiiiig state with a loooot of counties and precincts.
Still, straight up purple right now. 8-12 years sooner than I ever would have dreamed.
-
Jeezus, the tight race in Florida is making me extremely nervous.
Goddamn third party voters
-
Virginia is turning into a problem area.
-
-
Oh, Austin is coming in and its straight up 70% Clinton. 250,000-95,000. (For the early precincts) Both cities will be in the millions by the end of it.

I remember living there… and how strong the Reps voice was. I really didn't get into any discussions face to face because of that
-
@Long:
Lol texas blue again
[hide][/hide]
-
What makes you think that?
CNN just said something about.. 4 seats more to gain majority? I'm probably wrong.
-
Virginia is turning into a problem area.
Nah, the more Democrat leaning areas haven't reported in much yet.
-
Texas should switch it's name to Big Show.
-
To no one's surprise the Republicans are predicted to keep control of the House of Representatives. Duh.
-
Crazy that for the first time in my life my vote in Texas might actually matter, and its after I've moved out of the country.
-
Damnnit, Young just beat Bayh in Indiana.
-

Not unexpected, though unfortunate. The Dem pool in Indiana is pretty shallow.
-

Nope youre' not wrong.
Dems need to win 4 seats to gain a majority in the Senate, 5 seats if Clinton looses as vice-pres gets a vote .
My state WI is one of the states that is up for election, I voted D
-
I voted for Hillary, just can't stand Donald, very afraid he might win

Things looking good for New Hampshire's senatorial race at least.
-
Florida is figuratively breaking my heart.
-
Florida is blue again.
-
I've got a bad feeling; there were tons of people coming out of the woodwork today at the election I worked and they were overwhelmingly for Trump.
Of course, that's Tennessee, but still…
-
@Monkey:

true, Hassan has 53.8 %…
huh? Listening to ABC, and they just said that the House was projected to stay Rep. ... I thought the house didn't have any running
-
I'm getting nauseating Ralph Nader flashbacks from Florida.
Oh god.
-
Texas is also going to come down to Johnson mucking things up, isn't it. No one who lives in Texas thinks their vote matters so they feel free to vote third party. And now… its actually close enough that if even a portion of those third party votes went democrat it's be a thing.
-
Oh, God, he's going to win, isn't he?
-
@S.C.:
Oh, God, he's going to win, isn't he?
Yeah lets not start the chicken little crap please.

All eats in the House are up for election every two years.

Thats what was stopping me from voting third party in Maine. Although its possible Maine might give one electoral vote to Trump unfortunately.
-
Also, Texas is big enough its actually in multiple time zones. Polls haven't closed in El Paso yet.
-
@Monkey:
Yeah lets not start the chicken little crap please.
Sir, I'll have you know I come from a very long line of chickens.
-
Isn't johnson stealing more votes from trump than clinton?
