@kcity:
I love how even 'serious' characters like Robin are used for these gags, similarly how even Law and Zoro turn their heads upon hearing the word ninja
Same here. Some of the funny moments I love:
When Luffy, Robin, Zoro, and Usopp were about to cross the Punk Hazard lake
!
Back at Shabaody when the Pacifista attacked them with a laser beam.
!
Hahaha, I love these moments.
@Kaptayn:
"Hey Luffy, some thing's falling down from above !"
"It's a bird !"
"It's a plane !"
"It's…"

"Bellamy !!"
Or perhaps it's Kaptayn that's falling from there
@uniaka:
Aldo I think it's someone defeated falling( I won't give names, ok?) I guess it could also be a minkmen, maybe bird type, that wants to attack the humans that climb the zou leg. Because they dislike humans and don't want them on their island.
This is reasonably possible, too. It reminds me of when they reached Skypea and were attacked by a Shandian. A similar scenario can always happen.
@uniaka:
About the last samurai ninja. We know Kanjuro can't draw and has that DF, Kinemon can't make a proper desguise, maybe Rayzou is a ninja that sucks as a ninja? Like when he enters the room, everyone know he's there and he's a ninja. He has the opposite of Corazon's DF, the noise noise no mi. Or he's just some kind of giant with the sneak sneak no mi. Imagine a giant sneaks upon a small human. Usopp face incoming.:ninja:
That would be hilarious. It reminds me of Konohamaru from Naruto. If you are familiar with the manga, you will remember the scene of when he was following Naruto, and his camouflages were very bad. Hahaha! That was funny. There are also some scenes where he tries to assassinate his grandfather, and he trips with his scarf and falls on his face.
@Jabberwok:
I interpreted it like a bolier's pressure, where they're so full of happiness that they're ready to explode. That would mean full throttle translates to maxed out, or like gauges in the red zone.
Gambia: "I'm givin' her all she's got, Cap'n!"
Barometer is classed among the scientific terms. I wouldn't be surprised if you found its use nonsensical. Common sense dictates that its use is for the measurement of atmospheric pressure. People were saying that it is being used in ordinary language, but I didn't know about that. Even its morphology carries a scientific meaning.
I wonder if it is being used alliteratively. Bartolomew's Barometer. They both begin with 'bar'.
