@Kaido:
After Zoro thwarted Monet's attack on Chopper and Nami, this occurred:

We didn't see a large portion of the fight before that, and it was pretty clear from this exchange that Monet was the one dodging a fight and not Zoro. Meanwhile Zoro is quick to defend his crewmates when Monet attacks them…so yeah, not really what you're trying to indicate here.And if you're gonna argue that Zoro just should've struck a finishing blow to begin with, right then and there: think about it from a story perspective. From a logical standpoint, it would make sense for Luffy to immediately go Gear Fourth on Hody, Caesar, and Doffy, and use King Kong Gun right off the bat for good measure. But that's not how manga fights are or should ever be portrayed, because there's absolutely nothing to invest in.
No, sexism is still a blatantly wrong answer even if it's the only thing you can come up with...you completely forgot other people's points that Zoro did the exact same thing against Hyouzou, and the fact that his crewmates were more directly involved this time still has absolutely nothing to do with Monet's gender. Sexism was not present in the Zoro-Monet fight, period. Zoro was going after Monet pretty constantly, he didn't outright attack her because he pretty much never needed to, he just needed to protect his crewmates, and of course Monet didn't make things much easier by repeatedly dodging him and not engaging in an actual fight. If you didn't really like the layout of the fight, that's fine, but get real and stop pinning sexism on this.
Again, you are not following the narrative here, you are just interpreting things the way they suit you. I can also interpret the chapter however i like, but at the end of the day Monet told us that Zoro has been holding back against her, and this happened for a reason. it's not my fault you can't get a hint. And of course you can't get the difference between the Hyouzou and Monet fight if you do not take the hints that Oda puts in the manga, so there's no point in trying to convince you that there was a difference between those fights anyway.
