I can agree for Jimbei not looking badass at first sight. But Kizaru looks like the air-head monster that crawls in so many manga.
Don't get me wrong. Law is by far the worst and most boring design in OP.
But he is THE definition of what a typical cool character looks like.
Hahaha, yeah I guess from a typical shonen cool guy perspective. That shouldn't matter though personal taste wise. What I do like about Weeble is his physical properties not being generic, it's just that his face is that typical ugly One Piece character face that we've seen a lot from all kinds of fodder… Ugh.

In most mangas when someone attractive shows up you already know that they will be either strong or important in some manner, but in one piece anyone can be worth something: wether they're ugly, pretty, slim, fat, young or old.
People looked down on the Dressrosa Colosseum guys saying that they were all just fodder, and now half of them are part of the Strawhat grand fleet. I didn't care about Senor Pink given his design, but when the truth came out I changed my mind about it, and i feel ashamed to have thought so many bad things about him. Bartolomeo too didn't struck me at first with his design, but given enough time now I love him so much. In the same way, i didn't care about Law at first despite his handsomeness, but now I like him after his character was revealed to us.
Now with Weeble i wonder what will happen, but i sure don't look down on him just because he's fat and ugly. Maybe I will if he will be revealed to be an awful character too, or not if he will turn out to be awesome, it's just too early to give a proper thought about him

Exactly, I'm not much of a fan of Webble design either but ehn, I'm happy Oda didn't go with a goofball with Kaidou since Big Mom looks pretty goofy already(scare still) and every Shichibukai looks/looked pretty badass besides maybe Moriah and now Buggy, so adding a goofy looking one is fine by me, I know people were expecting a super badass as the last Shichibukai but a retard that is super strong that has a handler is interesting to me even though like I said I don't like his design that much.

Well there's a difference between a solo vendetta and an organized force. I mean Blackbeard is the only exception ever did since Ace wouldn't be able to handle(always hated that part but wathever)
And more importantly there's a difference between protecting those you are suppose to and going after a fleeing enemy.
If they went after blackbeard then it would be classified as vendetta. The protecting part i agree though. Although we dont even know whether blackbeard encountered them while taking over the territories. All that was mentioned was that he "knew them very well"
For all we know,the WB pirates may have tried to defend it but failed.

I think before the "worst generation" entered the new world the casual pirates in the new world wouldnt even dare approach a yonko so the WG wouldnt even bother putting a bounty on them.

I interpreted it as the mother meaning that getting revenge in and of itself doesn't get you a beli. I don't think she even had the bounty they would get in mind, just Whitebeards treasure.
I love that Kizaru and the admirals looks are closely based on real people, that's what makes them look way more badass and not cookie cutter basic anime styled like Luffy or Law. Part of that design is the way they carry themselves with the jacket on the back, looking confident as hell. Not ever having the typical worried/angry/scared face also helps with this.
Actually watching the series the characters and great parts of their personas are made helps a lot more. That reminds me that I need to see some more Matsuda movies, Sugawara and Tanaka stuff are far more easily accessible.

I think it was more not wanting to have to contend with the new Yonkou on the block and instead picking remains of the old one for treasure.

Well, most of his hype comes from the movie though, which is canon in Z's flashback. This new shichibukai cut off an ex-admiral's arm and killed all his squadron except for Ainz and Binz; stated to have an extremely powerful df.
Then the recent chapter hypes him up again by Admiral Kizaru's himself but his design is just….ugh.
I still have a hard time calling the movie canon…Mostly because there characters in the manga don't comment on their adventure with the world nearly blowing up, or whatever was happening. From what we can see, bounties shouldn't be a problem to pay, berries seems to be inspired from yen, so you need to divide by a 100. A billion bounty equals to 10 m USD, which probably is less than the cost of a single warship.
Also, inflation got nothing to do with it, your talking about the exchange rate of bellies to RW currencies…

Protection for her island, Amazon Lily and its people the Kuja. Back in the ID arc, we learned that if she quit the Shichibukai, the MQ would target her home island. Before the calm belt alone was enough to protect it, but with the battleships having the seastone coating their hulls, they can now travel on the Calm Belt and reach Amazon Lily.

If the WG is aware of her motives, then those aren't ulterior motives.

It might been a different one that killed his family but the one that cut off Z's arm was Weeble confirmed though, since it was explain that Z left the Marines when Weeble joined the Shichibukai.

I know that it's supposed to be silly due to his intelligence, but that doesn't change that I find his design to be completely horrible. If he ends up being Whitebeard's son, I will also be quite disappointed. Then again, Oda could take it at a very interesting angle so better to wait on that aspect.

We have no idea how Weevil specifically benefits from the position, and I'm saying that I don't see a particular reason for him to want to be a Shichibukai in the future. Any pirate worthy of consideration to be a Shichibukai is usually strong enough to get by on their own and too proud to become a government dog, which means that every Shichibukai with a specific purpose in mind for the protection the government grants. Buggy is excluded, because he's the only one who's not a strong pirate. I can't see Weevil joining for any specific purpose, and while his mother might like the idea of the protection it seems far from necessary for a pirate of hist strength.

The Kuja ancestors might not have been pirates, but they were unaffiliated with the World Government and the WG has been shown to persecute country that aren't part of the system.

It works both ways, as seen by the various random pirates campaigning to be a Shichibukai. Buggy's a great example, as he has become more infamous following his appointment to the position.

As for Weevil I think that he will fight with Strawhats and Monster Trio or Duo will take care of him.
Oda knows what he is doing so even as I strongly dislike 7th design I think that it was Odas goal for me to "think bad" about 7th as he is now.
