Krispy Kreme is too pure fluff and sugar. Its okay as a treat, but you can eat like a full dozen without even realizing it.
Dunkin Donuts has much more substance to them.
That's because they're dry and tasteless by comparison.

Everyone always tells me 'Dunkin donuts is the best!' Or 'Shipley's is the best!' And I get their regular donuts and it's always the same thing: sticky, somewhat moist disappoint. Krispy Kreme is indeed very sweet but their hot fresh chocolate donuts are mind blowingly tasty as a once in a while type thing
Only lately am I realizing that Donut Wheel, while always being a personal favorite, might actually be the best donuts. I am finally cutting through the internalized donut racism where people have told me over and over throughout the years what to believe is the best donut, and actually forming my own opinions as a donut connoisseur, after having tried all these other brands
Also savannah has a local place called Baker's Pride which makes incredible thick and sweet donuts too.
I'll take a regular bagel or a spiced up bagel with tons of seasoning thank you very much
The chocolate cake donuts at Dunkin are kickin' rad
Krumpe's Donuts are the best donuts, and I pity every last one of you that (presumably) doesn't live anywhere close to the only one that exists.
Eating Dunkin Donuts always made me feel disgusting regret after consumption.
I prefer my donuts to make me feel delicious regret.
Krispy Kreme's always tasted a bit chemical to me.

That added to how super-sugary Krispy Kreme is sounding . . . . I don't think I'd like it.
But these are all franchises. We all know that a good Mom n' Pop bakery donut is the best.
Yes.

Plus there's the Luther Burger, but the less said about that, the better.
All that variety and yet I counted at least 18 variety of glazed donuts excluding their original glazed variety of donuts. As for the Luther burger I'm longer bothered by seeing people take something that can already be unhealthy (but delicious looking sometimes) even more unhealthy.
Krispy Kreme hands down the best. Their crullers, a little reheated, amazeballs. I won't eat a Dunkin, they just taste too bland and they're too thick to be so bland so it's like you get full off something that wasn't even that enjoyable.
But we have plenty of good doughnut places in the city.
I know this is a doughnut discussion but if you really want a tasty sugary doughy treat, eat a cinnabon.

(They are pretty good too, joking aside)

Not glazing a doughnut is like refrigerating ketchup; it's wrong but a lot of people do it anyway.
Really fresh home or craft-made donuts can be delicious overkill even without he glaze.

Well I don't like ketchup but part of me couldn't imagine eating it cold.
I guess ketchup would last in a cupboard. Just seems like a weird place to store it
Once when my family was visiting family in New Hampshire we ate at a local place for breakfast. I ordered something called cruller French toast, thinking it was just your regular French toast just with cruller bread. Instead it turned out to be French toast with the bread substituted with cruller doughnuts, complete with all the syrup and butter and everything. I was flabbergasted, and to this day maintain that if there's one meal I've ever eaten that made me certain I'd just shortened my life expectancy, that was it.
5 years ago I ate a sugar doughnut with ketchup
I rarely ate a donut. I found some in a place called King Soopers or Safeway
Cake donuts are far superior to glazed.
Filled donuts are top tier.
Though I did have these donuts with a chili-lime glaze the other day that were pretty boss.

Ketchup contains vinegar after all so refrigerating it is absolutely unnecessary; it doesn't even make it last longer.
Screws up the taste as well.

Oh my no. Cold ketchup is where it's at.
We always store ketchup in the refrigerator. Does not screw taste up. I know someone who says ketchup cause disease
I'm in agreement with Mr. WolfWood Puck. Cold ketchup is where it's at

Why not have both in one??

Strange unhealthy things happened up in the woods of Quebec and northern New England when it comes to food.

The problem with cold ketchup is that it doesn't like to come out of its bottle. It's like an antisocial genie.

My first wish is for some damn ketchup for this hamburger

They will be brought back, but at the cost that they'll always be craving ketchup (and guess what? You're the ketchup!)

Goddamnit, this is the ironic fate I deserve for living a life of ketchup-based debauchery!

In my travels, I have learned that the only way to defeat ketchup is to burn it.
Also where were we? Donuts? News?
Is there a ketchup in the news? Let me get the donut
this ketchup jokes are really dragingon:ninja:
dont' blame me… this was begging to be posted
Dammit, only one person I voted for in my state elections won. And effing Martha Coakley won the Democratic Primary for Govenor.

Note: She's the dumbass who thought she could just sail by in the state senate election after Ted Kennedy died and let stupid Scott Brown overtake her.
Dammit, only one person I voted for in my state elections won. :getlost:
None of the people I voted for won.
On the other hand, I didn't vote yesterday. I guess it's time to see how Baker vs Coakley goes
And yeah honestly out of the dem candidates, Coakley's pretty weak I feel and I don't really like Grossman. Berwick's a great guy and a pediatrician but he could never win against the other two unfortunately, soooo it's Coakley for the dems lolllllllllll
You didn't vote!? Where's your civic duty!?

Classes all day. And I'm not talking most of the day, ALL day. 9 AM - 9 PM.
I've been an absentee voter for years. Why the hell bother with having to go to a polling place?
There's also the fact that I'm registered as independent so the primaries aren't really my thing anyway, but the scheduling doesn't help either.
@Mr.:
Why not have both in one??
Isn't torturing people with pictures of delicious foods illegal?

I wish. The whole 'post everything you're about to eat' philosophy that's overtaken internet users lately is making me so sick that it may just soon be listed as a form of manslaughter.
I never remember to photograph anything i make or eat.
Who honestly thinks oh wait i need to immortalize this sandwich before noming?
Too many of my Facebook friends. At least one of them takes it to the level of giving us 'in progress' shots of the tasting.
I know you're jealous.

Once they implement their steamy hot lovin' updates you'll be wishing you were still only being updated on what salad they were having that day.
