JoJo. Nuff said.
JOJO
Baby Steps
Sidonia no Kishi
and…. that's it...
Aso I can't tell what's more surprising... a Fairy Tail reboot 1 year after they canned it or a new Yugioh anime...
Mushishi, Jojo and Mahouka are titles i will definitely watch from beginning to end, beyond that, i don´t know yet
Oh I forgot OAVs:
-Shingeki no Kyoji: 104th Gunren Heidan-hen
Also, Sidonia no Kishi has a pretty interesting PV:
I could go either way with the character art… but everything else looks nice
Is that fujo volleyball with a shota protag? Finally, a shonen sports anime I can truly enjoy.
Also need to marathon through the first Jojo season so I can watch Stardust with everyone.
I hear Mahouka will be the show to watch to release your inner hate. So might watch that.
Watching Captain Earth as well. For all the wrong reasons.
Will prolly watch Avengers for the novelty alone.
Is Earth Captain a Captain Planet rip-off? You know, with Gundams instead of a purple/blue man who is protecting the wrong planet.

Besides the name similarity, I don't see anything that would point in that direction.
For sure : Jojo, Haikyu, Baby Steps and every mecha anime.
Maybe : Mangaka-san, Black Bullet, No Game No Life, Gokukoku, Fuuin Ishin
Oh man, Stardust Crusaders. I really, really hope that they get another rock song for the ending.
Right now there are 56 new anime titles for the Spring Season O_O!!!!
!
I'm interested in at least 20! O_O, My to anime to read list will be at maximum size.
LOL THERE ARE LITERALLY 4 YUGIOH CLONES. IN A ROW. SAME PROTAGONIST. HAHAHAHA. the anime industry has died…
Dammit 4? All exploiting the card game trend? I thought that was getting less popular. O_o
what do they mean by Fairy tail new series? Like a reboot or something?

They ended FT's anime halfway through the tournament arc. Seems like they're bringing it back now.
Whelp, looks like yet another season where the only thing I'll really be looking at is JoJo. Well, maybe if I have time I'll dabble into Mushishi.

And don't forget Haikyuu! that will be the surprise of the season! I guarantee you!

Not for kids. It seems this spring season, a lot of anime for the kids will be ending, something that rarely happens, and some top stable series, that normally run for years, are ending just for the return of old super popular ones(EX: Toriko ending for DB Kai, Space Brothers for Kindaichi).
Space Brothers is ending! I actually might cry over this, At least there's still the manga and the anime has had a good fantastic run. I especially loved hearing so many One Piece voice actors in it and of course Miyuki Sawashiro as always voicing the best girl.
Haikyuu in glorious animation! Hopefully.
Besides it, I'll make sure to watch Sinbad's OVA. Other than that, to watch Jojo I'll need to watch the previous season to be able to watch this one. For anything else, I'll wait for some random reviews that people do.
Hgn. Jojo. Yessss.
I must catch up and bring myself to watch the first two parts without spontaneously combusting into a pile of mass nopery.

You mean THREE right? Not four.
Tenkai Knight is more in line with the old Wataru, Granzort, and Lamune series, predating Yuugioh.
(kids gaining control of super-deformed robots to battle evil aliens, etc)
So, I was browsing Batoto and saw that Black Bullet had some chapters released and went ahead to check it out: it's somehow cliche and not really interesting, although I would be interested to watch the battles animated.
Let;s see
Stardust Crusaders (Flipping finally. Took em long enough to do a proper adaption. No offense to the OVAs but there are some fights from the manga I really wanted to see)
Soul Eater Not (Not as thrilled as I was for the original series espeically considering this one isn't even that far in. But hey it's cute and I'm curious how they're gonna end it)
Fairy Tail (New season technically but yeah glad to see it back. Now let's see if the new studio is up to snuff)
Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V (Largely out of curiosity. Could be good, could be bad, we'll see)
and
Mangaka-san to Assistant-San (Love this manga and was so happy to hear it was getting an anime)
I've entered this thread without looking at the posts.
How many hundred times have JoJo been mentioned?
Jojo is required reading and watching for all human beings
Uchuu Kyodai ending is a real shame, but hopefully it'll come back in a year or so. I hope Mutta makes it to Mars someday!
This season…I dunno. If impressions for Captain Earth are good I'll follow that, and maybe check out the last leg of Dragon Ball Kai since I liked the Buu arc's off-the-wall nature.
Seeing how this will be relevant in roughly two weeks, I might as well bump it and post a link to the latest chart.
http://anichart.net/spring
I'll reveal my picks in a few hours' time. Tried to stay under 10 shows, but failed. Oh well, what can you do? Anyway, feel free to post the shows you're interested in, fellow fans.
My picks so far are Haikyuu, Jojo, Soul Eater NOT!, Akuma no Riddle and Mekaku City Actros.
Compared to my previous list, I'm adding Ping Pong, Seikouku no Dragonar and Mahoukou…
Here goes!
I might end up dropping a good bunch of 'em, but those shows interest me enough to at least try them out. M3 in particular might be the anime of the season already due to the people working on it.
My list so far:
Guaranteed Hit Tier:
Jojo SC, Mushishi S2, Ping Pong
High Potential Tier:
Baby Steps, Abarenbou Kishi!! Matsutarou, Captain Earth, Sidonia no Kishi
Probably Mediocre, Three-Episode-Rule Tier:
Hitsugi no Chaika, M3 ~Sono Kuroki Tetsu~, Mahou Shoujo Taisen, Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin (Poor noitaminA), Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii
Guilty Pleasure Tier:
Kenzen Robo Daimidaler
Horrible Shit I Only Watch To Write Better Criticism Tier:
Mahouka
Maybe I will watch Soul Eater Not! as well, but that should be it. Good season, it's been a while since I had a season with three anime I (will) have almost no complaints about.
Still way too many horrible LN being adapted, though.
@Cyan:
Jojo is required reading and watching for all human beings
Also, this.
Jojo's bizarre Adventure: Star Crusaders
Mushishi Zoku Shou - kind of unbelievable to see it adapted completely so many years later. This is going to be bliss.
Ping Pong - Matsumoto and Yuasa are match made in heaven.
Sidonia no Kishi - good hard sci-fi but compaired to the first three it's on a lower level.
Anyway this is the strongest spring season in quite a while. The last time I was planning to watch so many shows was back in 2012.
Any shows for the new season air yet? Tomorrow's the big day, Mushishi and Jojo \o/
Blade and Soul, Majin Bone, Disk Wars: Avengers, Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou are some I've seen that have aired already. Can't recall others at the moment.
Oh Gokukoku no Brynhildr is getting an anime, that's nice. I have stopped reading the manga last year since story gets really depressing (yeah, it's a tragedy). But it has interesting premise and art is really great.
Captain Earth
Dat gattai/docking scene animation
Holy
Fucking
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
The Irregular at Magic High School - "The Great Union of Asian"… oh their Engrish was so close...
And Captain Earth is Star Driver on crack with more "libido" action~
No love for Fuun Ishin no Shogun? Female Ninjas in super tight clothes, with Mechs!! Anyway, Knights of Sidonia and Mangaka-san+Assistant are the ones I favorite so far.
Haikyuu! first episode was amazing! Production I.G. did an excellent job. It was even better than the first chapter of the manga! I'm so excited for next episodes!
lol. Daimidaler. Look at the site.
Captain Earth 1:
Good lord, can they even speak without pouring on incomprehensible technobabble?
THE EVIL ARK FACTION SENT AOE KILTBUNG WHATEVER THROUGH ENTANGLE GATE TO EARTH WITH LIBIDO CHARGE BUT THE INTERCEPTOR FACTION SENT OUT EARTH ENGINE WITH OORANG ENERGY FOR LIVELASTER BLOSSOM USING TIDAL ATTRACTOR WITH COMBINE ROBUSTNESS AT MAXIMUM THROUGH FIRST, SECOND AND FINAL EXPANDS AND USE IT AS IMPACTER AGAINST THE APPROACHING KILTBA…
What in the fuck?
Animation is pretty nice though.
Production I.G. is such an amazing studio ! As I expected from them, the first episode of Haikyu! was perfect.
Baby Steps' first episode was good. I don't have a lot of faith in Pierrot but I'm hoping they won't mess it up.
The other anime I tried :
Haikyuu! in glorious animation is just amazing.
- Mahouka : The sister is annoying. Will continue for now hoping she doesn't bother me even more.
I found her reactions really funny. She represents the otaku so loved incest between brothers(and he doesn't like her, but he does somethings that aren't normal of a brother), and he represents the Marie Sue, but I was already waiting for it and is not that bad as let's say SAO. It seems the author at least gave a reason for why she is so in love by her brother and why he is a Marie Sue. For now that is a all coated in mystery, let's hope the revelation is good.
What was that, Captain Earth?
Aquarion Evol is still the best sexual metaphor and endless innuendo filled giant robots series with its heart in the right place?
Thanks for the reminder.
lol. Daimidaler. Look at the site.
That is a glorious site full of historic internet relics.

"I will fill her heart with love!!"
Haikyuu was pretty amazing.
Baby Steps better not get massacred by Pierrot.
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushi was interesting… I'll reserve my judgment for a couple more episodes.
Waiting for that Dragon Ball Kai 2 sub....

It's made by the minds that brought you Star Driver. What were you expecting?
We had to drop Captain Earth because it was…. honestly, so damn boring. I can't believe how unmotivated the episode was, too. It felt like trope after trope, generic scene after generic scene.
Captain Earth: It looked nice, but didn't really grab me that much.
Mahouka: Pandering to Incest fetish. Bleh.
Daimidaler: Hilarious, but won't continue following.
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushi: Gave off a very charming old-school adventure story vibe, with a good protagonist. Even the one-note comical baddies added to that feel, just seemed something very sweet and honest in it's feel.
Mushishi seems to be the big one that everyone likes this season, but haven't had time to catch up on season 1, definitely gonna check it out if I can, from what I've seen of it it's pretty good, very cool atmosphere.
Last season I dropped a bunch of anime fairly early on, but I made the mistake of staying optimistic for certain other shows, which ultimatley led to me suffering through twelve episodes of, say, crap likr Sekai Seifuku. This time I'm not making the same mistake and dropping shows as soon as I'm beginning to get bored.
Yeah, I need a short break before watching the remaining shows on my hard drive. Selector blabla left a bad taste in my mouth.
