CoC isn't a radar that's always on by default.
I've said this before but Otohime had some of the most powerful CoC in the series and couldn't sense to dodge a bullet to the heart despite dodging a bullet to the head with haki chapters earlier.

He sent Castle Man and an array of mooks to look for them. He might not be doing the best under pressure right now but that doesn't mean he doesn't have basic haki.

As far as Dofla being dead…It would be foolish to believe so. No way he would've been this hyped...he would be the first character ever to be so hyped yet so easily defeated. I agree with the theories that it is Pica. He controls stones he comes in contact with so he could have easily taken the shape of doflamingo, or made a copy. Either way, dofla isn't dead. Straw Hats are gonna be running clean up.

Well, that is irrelevant. I was hoping Doflamingo would be like Crocodile–ahead of the protagonist until the last moment. I get that Dofla isn't Crocodile, but I least expected him to be as threatening during his own arc. Yes, before the SOP operation was initiated, Dofla had complete an utter control over the situation; he was going to kill the Swirly Straw and he clobbered Law. But now, he is powerless. Really hoping for something like an Omni parasite that pits all of Dofla's foes against one another. Now that would be really awesome and restore my faith in such a hyped character.

Why? Because he may want to finish Dofla himself or he needs him alive for something, or whatever.

When DD's head fell off, I think I may have done an Enel face. 
I had to do a triple take just to see if it is what I thought I saw. What an amazing chapter. Zoro looks perfectly fine so far in the fight, not sure what to think. Considering there's marines as well that were turned to toys, it would make no sense for Fujitora to still be allies with Doflamingo at this point. Also DD's head falling looking like Law's room as others speculated, Law clearly wants him alive, the question is what's that got to do with taking down Kaido? How can he use his power?!
I wonder if Doflamingo is faking his death in order to get away from the entire island of people that want to murder him.

They are just on the side of normal people and against all opressors. It's possible Kaido acts like tyrant on his territory so in their mind, he'd probably be no different than WG.

OT : Dofla being dead is anticlimactic, obviously he can't be a logia so there shouldn't be an argument about it. It's possible that the real dofla is hiding somewhere since he's a string user, a puppeteer. I just don't buy the idea that Doflamingo controlled law and used his power just to chop his head off, if he can just defend or evade it so easily for him. Also Luffy wanted to save Law, if so then he should have instead seen surprised that Law is already free. We've seen him fought 3:00 and Law, controlled almost all the soldiers in Dressrosa as he just sit his ass waited for results so there's our reference on that.
Until then we should wait another week to answer our questions.

Can't believe some people actually think Doflamingo is dead, guess Tontatta are real.
And about Law being the one to save Doflamingo… I don't know. The thing is, even though Kyros is super fast, his attack this time was not fast at all. After he started runing towards Doflamingo, Viola had enough time to explain Sugar powers and even Kyros' past to Luffy. Even King Riku saw Kyros coming and talked to him before he landed his attack. If all that happen before he could strike Doflamingo, you can be completely sure that Doflamingo could have avoided that hit. If he didn't act, if Buffalo and Baby 5, standing right there, didn't act is because they knew Kyros couldn't do shit.
So, unless they were all expecting Law to save Doflamingo I would say it was something Doffy did himself.

Do you think any of the stronger characters in OP who have devil fruits are any weaker than him?
Hody was able to crack walls with his fingers only, Joz was able to crack and pull out a hill sized iceberg… Sabo is strong, but it's not like it's on a level never before seen in OP.

The rest of the chapter was amazing, but I'm pretty pissed off at how the Usopp VS Sugar fight was handled. It ended in one of the most pathetic ways possible and now character development for other characters that was set up (coughRobincough) has just vanished. No one even mentioned the fact that they forgot Robin. Why? So Usopp can get the same development he's been getting for the last 400 chapters.
I'm just getting very angry at how all of this was handled and the opportunities Oda had right in front of him yet he completely missed, don't mind me.
