If sugar wakes up will everyone go back to being toys.
One Piece Chapter 743 - Turbulent Dressrosa
-
-
-
Kyros is gonna get his Yamamoto treatment once it turned out it's a fake DD. Prepare to get Juha Bach'd.
-
It's Kinemon's head that got chopped off. R.i.p. Kin'emon
-
First Dragon Claw, then now Dragonbreath..damn Sabo
-
About Doflamingo this is my thinking
1. First and foremost. People in OP kind of have a hard time dying
2. Ppl in OP who are some grand villains, dont die in a second
Meaning Doflamingo is very much alive that much should be 99,5% clear to all. Now… how does he live. Only three possible ways imo.
a) Either he has done the same as Blackbeard and has a logia, but that one seems a stretch for many reasons
b) He is actually a clone controlled by his strings. That one while possible due to his abilities would be quite cheap. We have seen plenty of clones and what not in mangas. It was never forshadowed for DF and to just have a clone like this seems a bit too conviniened and unoriginal
c) so the only one we are left with is that LAW created a room and while his head is off he is far from dead. But the following has two sub sections
I.) Law cutting his head on his own
- This one imo seems cheap. We saw Law wants mingo dead, we also know that toys coming back my bring some additional info to Law but none really would excuse him keeping Mingo alive. Way too stupid for Law's standards imo.
II) Mingo with his string ability can control DF users to use their DF as well, meaning he used Law to create a room in the last second. The panels are made in such a way as well.
1. Mingo realizing someone is coming, then showing Law and then chop at the head.Questions now are. Why simply not block, dodge etc?
And how will that make Curos look when DF gets his head back and pwns him?For me, the only way I accept this, if Curos then kicks the shit out of DF non the less. But it is far more likely Curos gets brushed aside. Enter Luffy to fight DF
And one last thing if Admiral continues to help Mingo after all of this this makes shit sense as well. It was just revealed how he was keeping slaves not only his people, but important people like kings and also government officials etc. You telling me Admiral is still on his side-
Best way to deal with this is. Getting a country back and DF just making a run for it and surviving.
You forgot the Pica clone.
-
Hmmm….how about dofla joins his head back to his body with his threads, he probably set that up automatically ? Like a hidan kakuzu scene
-
No blood? It has to be Law, right?
-
If sugar wakes up will everyone go back to being toys.
Obviously not.
Seems quite against every rule Oda set so far. -
That was so epic and awesome and beautifully done and words are just not enough to describe it
-
You forgot the Pica clone.
Which would mean what?
-
that pica returned to make a clone but no one noticed how the real DF switched with a clone?
-
that Pica can make stone clones which exactly resemble Mingo and can move human like and Mingo controls them which is…. exactly what was there under option B. Where I said, he is actually a clone controlled by his strings....
-
-
I just though about Pika + Coliseum. Well it can happen,
-

I think that Doflamingo released Law and gambled on the fact that Law would want him alive, therefore would protect him. Maybe the law panel was him feeling the chains come off.
Doflamingo didn't dodge or block or attack because he's just realized that he's been a step behind this whole time and if his enemy's think him dead, he gets time to read the situation, figure out the new players and the situation, while at the same time gaining the upper hand since they will think he's gone and he can attack whenever.
-
Ussop just became a goddamn legend and I have to say I really wish we had seen how that had happened but maybe Oda considers it a very small part of what's about to go down.
Not just that, look where's usopp sleep…. i envy you, usopp.
-

That Pica has been cloning Dofla all the time since the first reports of troubles.
Remember how late Pica has been showed and how few.
He's also EVERYWHERE in the castle. -
-
The main question for me is actually what will purple dude do. DF is fracked that much is clear, you cant forcefully now subdue the entire country back to what it was. And why would Admiral support it. With him on the same side DF has only option to run
So this should imo be. How the DF family makes a run for it saga from now on
-
Expected a chapter full of transformations and reactions but it delivered some intense action.
Hmm…it would make sense for a person to be distracted enough by their 10 year scheme falling apart to be caught off-guard like that. Also, the whole build up to that scene with the chaos was great. This was the last piece of the S.O.P. strategy and we know Kyros is not a pushover.
That being said, this is One Piece and Dofla is too high on the "big shot ladder" to be offed like that. I did not for a second believe he was dead when I read the chapter.
I mean this guy is a string man. For all we know, he could just reattach his head next chapter and none of us could say a word.
Maybe it wasn´t even Doflamingo getting beheaded. Like, Pica left the Zoro fight so it could be a stone golem clone or something. j/kNonetheless, mad props to Kyros for instantly trying to get the job done.
Other notes:
- Vivi looks super hot as a tennis player
- Fuji will no longer turn a blind eye on Dofla´s doings
- Senor Pink is classy
- Usopp never changes lol but OK he pulled it off
- Sabo steals the show with his attack and coolness
Really enjoyed the chapter. Looking forward to next week.
-
I wonder if Kyros is stronger than, let's say, Kaido.
-

He's also EVERYWHERE in the castle. That he has been cloning him ever since in Castle yes… Like I said option B possible but imo unoriginal and overused
-
@DEE:
I didn't.. can you please give me the link?
but its still possible..

You forgot about Cyber-Flamingo theory. It's mine, and I'm sticking to it, damnit. It makes more sense than Law sawing Doflamingo, in my opinion.
-
Holy crap. That chapter was awesome as all hell. Highly doubt Doffy's dead though.
-
-
Dofla's power is somewhat related to Buggy.
-
I can't recall a single time in One Piece ever where a villain and his faction was so thoroughly screwed to the balls before Luffy & co even fights the big bad.
I mean, regardless of what happens, Dofla and his men are completely and utterly screwed.
As far as immediate danger goes, Trebol, you best be running as fast as you can.
-
Sabo + Ace's fruit = Fujitora
Edit: Trebol cant run. Cavendish or Chinajo will catch up and stomp him

Maybe those scenari should be put to a poll.

Doflamingo's masterplan isn't all that sound if it heavily relies on the conciousness of some scaredy little girl.
-
While SOP was successful I still havn't quite forgiven Ussop from running. However, since the fact that he ran might have to do with the memories of Robbin disapearing, I hope he at least will beat an subcodinate of DressRosa before it is all over (Not including Suger).
…
Also, Doffy is headless. Like he did to Crocodile in the War. Irony~~ -
that is true, not to mention some strong guy comes around and knocks her and Trebol out and it all goes to shit
-
Doflamingo's masterplan isn't all that sound if it heavily relies on the conciousness of some scaredy little girl.
Well it worked fine for 10 years considering the regular citizens of Dressrosa didn't pose much of a threat and the nature of Sugar's ability meant that no grudges were made. He was surprised Law betrayed him and didn't expect him to devote 13 years of his life to keikaku or for the SHs to come along and get personally invested.
-
Sabo uses Armanent Haki..wtf!!
-
Well we are back !!!
I love how on page 8 we see the fate of the toy, who had his arm riped off by the dog in the beggining of the arc. It
seems like he will be in need of a hand soon !!! YEAAAHH!!! -
Doflamingo and his cronies are fucked. It saddens me that Oda is not giving the String Devil Fruit a good grasp over the situation. It also irritates me how Dofla has been hyped for 315 chapters and hasn't given that great a showing in his own arc.
-
Lol @ Not One Poco.
-
so law has something against DD? So much so that he would stop someone from killing him(so he could presumably)? who is he related to? is he violets ex lover? kyros' brother? wano country? dold iv? (IV like a doctor?) or…the man who taught señor pink to swim?
-
Dofla wouldn't be so surprised if he actually had some kind of power which would allow him to sense the presence of others on a large range…
OH WAIT
Can't wait to see an actual explanation.
-
Holy shit, this chapter is insane!!! O_O
The chaos has finally begun, and it is looking sweet! I love it! HAHAHA! XD
And I doubt Dofla died from that decapitation. It's obviously Law's doing.
Btw, Sabo is even more badass than before with that Dragon breath technique of his! ^_^
-
Dofla wouldn't be so surprised if he actually had some kind of power which would allow him to sense the presence of others on a large range…
OH WAIT
Can't wait to see an actual explanation.
Well, obviously his cybernetic double does not posses Kenbunshoku Haki. I told you, it all makes sense.
-

Well, he almost killed Sanji and a bunch of other straw hats effortlessly.
-

He was fine with throwing his live away, simply for Doffy to be killed by Kaido though…
-
Dofla wouldn't be so surprised if he actually had some kind of power which would allow him to sense the presence of others on a large range…
OH WAIT
Can't wait to see an actual explanation.
Simple: he doesn't have Kenbunshoku Haki. He has the other two, but doesn't have Kenbunshoku. Thus, he had no way of knowing what was coming.
-
So Dofla joins the club huh
-
So any bets on Cavendish falling asleep and wiping out everyone except for a couple of peope? Or would that be too much?
-
So any bets on Cavendish falling asleep and wiping out everyone except for a couple of peope? Or would that be too much?
Ekhm… Fujitora. Also, there is too many other strong guys for it to happen.
Do not forget that he is also there.
And is the biggest wild card yet. Damn, I literaly cannot think of what he might do next.
-
At first I thought the Doflamingo was Kinemon is disguise and Law noticed too and he somehow did something before Kyros cut the head.
Well I guess not.
-
Mission Complete!
Time for a beer. -
Dofla wouldn't be so surprised if he actually had some kind of power which would allow him to sense the presence of others on a large range…
CoC isn't a radar that's always on by default.
I've said this before but Otohime had some of the most powerful CoC in the series and couldn't sense to dodge a bullet to the heart despite dodging a bullet to the head with haki chapters earlier.
