WTF was all that hard boiled nonsense.
Chapter 735: "Fujitora's Intentions"

@krule274:
I don't get it…
Consider what Fujitora says he wants to stop Luffy from doing, then consider what he did in the bottom panel
-

Oh, duh. I'm dumb.
-
Is Oda going to have Fujitora disappear for plot purposes until the plot deems him to come back?
-
This chapter in particular had Fujitora exhibit some Zatoichi-like mannerisms in his character. Like the way he seems focused on looking out for the innocent bystanders in this conflict and the way he casually threatened to depose DD in the future. Much like the way Zatoichi often threatened the Yakuza bosses he encountered while maintaining some uneasy alliance with them when it suited him.

How great would it be if at this point Oda trolled us, and this new guy isn't Sabo at all? It's impossible now that we've seen the pipe, but that's what would make it so painful. The evidence is overwhelming, but we haven't quite seen the face yet.
I'm loving this Franky fight so far, it's potentially the best yet. The best possibility is that Franky beats multiple Donflamingo members and the marines. A lesser, but still great, possibility is someone helps Franky and we get a brawl in the street. The worst. I don't want to say, but needless to say I'd be very sad if Franky didn't fight a macho baby man or a biker orge at this point. This is what this manga has done to me.

because Sabo's a revolutionary
Kuma says hi.
I'm not saying sabo could the seventh but a revolutionary can be a Shichibukai.

I think Kuma is pretty clearly a special case

Not really massive damage compared to some of the stuff Luffy's done before.

I didn't make the joke, just trying to help explain it

If nothing else, that might direct almost all of the hate away from Rebecca.
-
To be a Shichibukai Sabo would have to be officially a pirate because a Revolutionary can't by definition be a Shichibukai.
-
Buggy has the potential to be real powerful but he's just too lazy and relies too much in his subordinates.
and his silly bomb …
-
Damn, Fujitora means business; guess this proves that even those on the side of Justice can be a threat to the 3 Great Powers the World Government cares so much about. I am just loving Violets DF ability more and more to think she was aware of the plan to overthrow DD without those planning even knowing; this chick has potential. Next Chapter we could finally see Sabo's face and maybe even some fighting action….............or we could check in to see what Usopp and Robin are doing. I am fine either way. Finally, sleeping Cavendish onward to the gladiator pen; that just screams trouble right there (Hakuba).
-

there's enough hate for everybody!
-
Someone in the last chapter thread suggested that Hakuba is a defense mechanism in case Cavendish is in danger. If this is true, then of course Hakuba will trigger the moment someone tries to turn Cavendish into a toy. But what if someone is so nonthreatening, that person is actually able to revert Hakuba back into Cavendish?
Right now, it seems almost like inferential logic that Cavendish/Hakuba will knock out sugar. But since our buddy Usopp is down there, I think you all know what I'm getting at with my main point… :ninja:
-
Sabo will win the tournament and Rebecca come in second. But Rebecca made a protest about Sabo illegaly enter the tournament and have Diamante and Burgess support. Sabo got disqualification and Rebecca win the tournament and mera mera no mi, and they lived happily ever after. Amen.

Well, i have always thought that how much Mihawk was "actual pirate" when he was given his status as shichibukai?
I mean, its very likely that he never had a crew, and honestly i dont think that he was a guy who rampaged around pillaging towns and killing people. Why would he ever want to declare himself to wg as pirate, if that wouldnt have been necessary? I could see Fujitora having a same kind of history (a strong lonely swordsman) as Mihawk before getting his status, too. So why Mihawk was always considered as "Pirate"? (Little off topic sry) -
Senor Pink = big fat retarded baby-man with a fan club and people who call him "hard boiled". So odd… it'll be interesting to see what kind of voice his voice actor has. Brushing teeth randomly with a shoe polish brush was funny, but I'm glad Luffy's not around, on the off chance he'd for some reason ask this thing to join his crew. He's interesting right now to me, but in the same way that someone saying 1+1=3 is "interesting"... not the kind of person you want to be around too long :P

It would also be great if Cavendish would get turned to toy, but as a toy he still would turn to Hakuba at night, causing havoc at night and ultimately breaking the rule of "Toys must stay in toy house at the night" :D
-
Ya, the stone which luffy was carrying is looking like a poneglyph!!!
-
I can't decide if I like Pink or Mach Vise more.

Right now everything points at Hakuba helping out Usoland and Robiland dealing with Trebol and Sugar. At least Caven will land in the middle tower of the port when he gets turned into a toy. Also the ring for the final round looks interesting. Maybe the platforms can be sunk into the water, cause I don't think that Diamante plays fair if he is up against 4 fighters.
-

It was a silly joke, Fuji hurt the grunts which is the same way Luffy does his thing. He will never wreck havoc that will hurt dressrosa citizens. Although, Fuji doesn't know that about him, he sees him as a typical pirate that goes wild disregarding innocent bystanders.
-
If Vergo is dangerous with a bamboo, Sabo with that big pipe…well sieze makes difference.
-
The chapter was great!
Fujitora gets better and better.
And the last page… man, the feels. I ove that Sabo still uses a pipe to fight. -

(Little off topic sry)Probably because he doesn't care what happens as long as he gets an interesting fight. Look at what he did to Don Krieg. There's probably more than a couple of towns or crews that suffered collateral damage and you don't have to be a pirate before the navy declares you one.
I suspect he only took the Shichibukai position because it gives him the freedom to look for worthy foes without the navy fodder bothering him all the time. -
Bartolomeos ability with shooting up some barriers might work really great in that new arena.
That barrier being shoot at someone might really nicely but that person into water or create an opening.Kind of dislike a bit fact that Bartolomeo became kind of Sabos side-kick while Cavendish gotten some +10 to badassnes in last chapter.
Hope for more out of Barto soon enough. -
Barto would probably defer to any of the members of his idols crew
Imagine Usopp bossing him around, giving him a little chance to be a big shot lol

He'd be taking Luffy box lunches from Sanji, sitting on top of Zoro's weights to help him train, splashing out on Nami, listening in awe to Usopp's stories, carting around ingredients for Sanji, grinding herbs for Chopper, carrying books for Robin, working on Franky's back and tuning Brook's violin.
As well as just generally telling them all that they're top notch.
-
He will get over the star struck attitude after a while though.
-
I actually want barto to join
-
Do you know who this is huh? It's Strawhats favorite pet. I'll kill ya you bastard.
And then proceeds to cut out the tongue of a poor little raindeer, who while cocky, was also adorable.

He will get over the star struck attitude after a while though.
Will he? Most people in OP don't get over their quirks
-
Before he pulls out a knife, Sanji will land a well deserved kick.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---

His quirk is a bit different. He's more like "OMG this crew is too awesome". Something like that will wear off when he's a member and sees them daily. It's different to Hancock's stage 5 clinger.
-
Lmfao if he joins I already see the usopp using barto as a slave hahaha and barto getting angry, f
-
If, and i do mean if, he ever joins. He'll be at the bottom rung. And it'll be entirely by choice lol.
Oh man oh man i can't belive that i get to wash Strawhats jockstrap. It even smells like him.
-
Hahaha lmfao that would actually be really funny.
Not to mention that if jinbei and barto joins, I'm sure they can take on powerful crews :D
-
If Luffy were ever to plant his hat on Barto's head a la nami in the Arlong arc I can't even imagine the reaction.

Is it just me or is Zoro afraid of taking the stairs?
Stairs are very dangerous, after all…
I can't believe I haven't noticed this before. I can't be the only one though…
-
dud anyone notice machvise's tail?
-
But Barto has a crew of his own. If he idolizes Luffy as much as he says he does, don't you think he'd never abandon his own crew. I love the guy too and thinks it would be fun getting involved with crew hijinks but I don't see him leaving his crew.
As for Bellamy, I see him joining the revolutionaries after this. Since he lost all his own men, presumably, he might follow Dragon the same way he does Doflamingo.
I still think Kinemon and Momo have a better chance of joining. Heck I still think Monet can join, she's not dead folks..

How can one end be so resonable and one end be so insane.
Are you two-face dude? xD
-
I don't necessarily think Barto is a certainty to join, but I'd say he has more going for him nakama wise than Kine or Momo.
I won't even discuss Monet, it's over bud.
-

Hey, were all a little nuts. Maybe it's just wishful thinking but I at the very least believe she isn't dead.
It's kinda funny how Rebecca seems the most obvious but hardly anybody wants her lol
-
I can't believe I haven't noticed this before. I can't be the only one though…
There might be something to this. He did it earlier in Dressrosa when Wicca told him to go up the stairs, and in the judicial building on Enies Lobby he ran away from the stairs because of his bad sense of direction. Those are two I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe he's just unconsciously afraid of stairs.

Nah, Rebecca's whole storyline is about how she want's to live with Soldier-San. She's not gonna leave pretty much right after that's become a reality.
-
Seeing as how this is one piece i don't think anybody is dead 'til i see their dead lifeless corpse being cried over.
And maybe not even then. Implied death means the dude or dudette is absolutely alive in Odaese

The toy soldier might die though? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Steadfast_Tin_Soldier. Tragic past and nothing left to live for, might as well go with the Strawhats! It's not that plausible.. but I get this weird feeling things won't turn out well for Soldier
