Here's mine :
5 - Zaraki Kenpachi - He's huge, he's ugly, he's harsh, fearsome and don't care about anything but fighting. He doesn't care about any rules or authorities. Zaraki is not that kind of genius cliché character who master the most powerful powers in the series. He's just a beast who use his raw power to spread blood all over his way and tears flesh apart. And he wears an eyepatch.
4 - Hisoka - One of a character for sure. Yes he is just another mindfucked powerful guy with a jester disguise. But Hisoka is clearly the best of them all. His main goal is to fight the most powerful individual in the entire universe. And that's all. He's scary, clever, gifted, harsh and have a boner (litteraly) each time he saw a strong fighter. Nothing about Hisoka or his background is known. We don't know where he comes from and we don't know what he's clearly thinking. We don't even know if he's a bad guy or not. In fact, I'm sure I don't want to know. One of the most controversial and mysterious character up there for sure.
3 - Nami - Maybe the only female character i care about in my whole manga culture. She’s the most important member of her pirate crew and she is still the weakest. An intersting weak character is always something in a manga. Far from being unilateral, Nami is a liar, she’s clever, she’s cute, she’s a coward, she’s naughty, she’s lively, and she likes money like it’s not permited. It’s hard for a manga to reach me, but Nami’s childhood is actually pretty sad. One of the most realistic manga character for me, and that’s something when you know from what manga she’s coming from…
2 - Orochimaru - Do not get me wrong, Naruto is obvisouley a stupid manga for stupid people. But in my opnion, Orochimaru is one of the three best villain of all time. This guy is just beyond morality. He does not even fear to use dead corpse to fight his ancient beloved teacher. Orochimaru is not just a bad guy, he is a frustrated genius who seeks revenge and immortality. He clearly left his soul in his quest. He is creepy, sadistics, and every one of his seems disgusting. His animal theme is snake, and that fit him very well. All about him scream villain. His looks, his way of talking, his manner, his theme, his face… Even his voice in the Japanese animated show is one of the best villain voice I ever heard. But that's not all about Orochimaru, by his manner, his speech, you can clearly sense all of his presence and knowledge. Orochimaru is a man of stature. Wich makes him a very complete antagonist. I don't think Naruto is a good manga, not even a correct one. Honestly the only one thing I truly remember from it is Orochimaru stealing the spotlight.
1 - Diego Brando : Here is an intersting character. You can not really tell if he is a good guy or a villain one. He is just who he is, a talented guy with ambition. A talented guy who do not fear to go a little too far to reach is goal. He is cool, his powers are cools too, but you can not truly love him. You can question his morality, but his past clearly help to understand why is doing the things his way. Despite his acts and attitude, you can not despise him. His complexity truly help to consider him a lot more than other average characters. I respect Dio, his jojo bizarre counterpart, but I think I prefer Diego over him.
