My wish is for the story to rely more on the crew from now on. Everything in the Yonko saga has been aimed at make Luffy reach the top. But the remaining Emperors are known for having extremely strong crews rather than being the strongest captains out there. Maybe it's time to focus on upgrading the Straw Hats so they can compete, especially the ones not named Sanji or Zoro.

But they already are an extremely strong crew.

People are focused on Luffy and how he has become too strong too swiftly; but a weakened Zoro just beat an 1YC and Sanji the second strongest commander while only discovering all his new genetic traits.
Jimbe is almost surely YC tier and if Yamato joins, we have another super strong fighter and probably the most impressive top tier of any yonkou crew in general.

And then Franky, Monster Point Chppper, Nami with Zeus, Robin with her upgraded abilities, even Brook and Usopp (against a non-phyiscal opponent) all dont need to hide against other Emperor crews.

I still have a hard time understanding why Oda thought he needed to retcon the fruit into something else after 1000+chapters, but then again Luffy being a stereotypical Chosen One is also something that goes directly against everything One Piece once stood for

Its a weird feeling, that the Sense Scan translation has fallen behind so much.
712 is already out as Raw with a fan translation for the whole week and we will probably get spoilers for 713 very soon.

In general, I like the current arc, for once the Qin are not portrayed as the underdogs, obviously anything involving Kanki is pure gold and I cant wait for the full introduction of Shibashou.
I just have given up any hope to get to see some impressive strategies and tactics at play, that is just something Hara is simply not capable to depict, but then again there is always RoT for that aspect.

If Big Mom wasn't in Wano, but Kidd, Law, Luffy, Killer, Sanji, Zoro, and all of the other heavy hitters were going against Kaido, the internet would be insufferable.

Then he had to make the Beast Pirates stronger to give the allies something to do, make the Tobi Roppo and Numbers more of a challenge, have Drake X and Kyoshiro play a more ambigious rule and not downright defect to the other side, have Jack not be a total joke, give Queen and King some victories before their defeat to hype them up as YC and so on.

! I expected a lot more from Shunsuiju in defending the city or at least using some tactics to escape the city himself.
! I guess it did wonders for the morale of the Zhao soldiers if your commanding general leaves one of his prodigy deputies to defend your city and all he does is standing on the wall watching and then running away ALONE when the city is taken over, leaving you behind. Thanks Riboku

From a story point of view the Sanji fight has to conclude the next time we fully focus on it, there is just so much else going on in an already super-long arc. But personally I just enjoy Queen way too much, Oda can continue as long as he wants for all I care

I only wish he had never added all the Germa crap and superhuman strenght and instead it would be simply Sanji having to go all out and beyond his capabilties to prove himself Yonkou Commander tier.

I'm also one of those who think that Big Mom is using awakening all the time, especially in creating Totoland. But she is already one of the most intimidating characters with her pure strenght and durability alone AND we have a ton of abilities added due to her DF and she is constantly showing new applications of her devil fruit.

For Kaido as a zoan user its just more dragonball BS. He has his forms and sure, you can add another one, or a Haki Awakening one, or a 2nd Awakening: Yonkou Style, but in the end its just another transformation that makes him hit harder and faster. His hybrid is enough for that.

Interestingly the real Qin Shi Huang/Ei Sei was exactly that kind of king that would condone wholescale massacre and his unification campaigns were extremely brutal and bloody. I wonder how far from reality the Kingdom version of Ei Sei will stray.

Also, what are Yotanwa and Ousen doing now that the Zhao are all dead? Are we still pretending that they dont have any armies on the hardly defended Zhao borders?

I'd expect something more in the climax of the entire post skip narrative against the strongest creature in the world than deal with his forces because some 8 year old girl magically happened to have a dango fruit that can deal with the SMILEs which were hyped up since PH

Who seriously cares about the Gifters or Pleasures? Those are fodder through and through.

If somone like Black Maria or WhoisWho wins their match, they can easily deal with them.
We all know that King or Queen will also both win their respective fights and then they can join the fun as well.

It doesnt matter how many of the lower ranks have defected or are influenced by Tamas ability. In the end the success of the war rests solely on the alliance dealing with the two Emperors, and here they have failed spectacularly. Yes, yes, we will probably get a bunch of chapters of Kaido vs Yamato and her wounding him when her devil fruit is revealed, but he will still come out on top like always. But Luffy will have healed/recovered by then, you say? Great, he can be taken down a third (fourth?) time, no problem. And BigMom will have finished by then as well.

Really, if Tama is the greatest asset on the good guys side, than they have a problem.

Oh look, its another Zhao arc, havent had those in a long while.

And yet again the Qin are the underdogs, never happened before.

And they are massively outnumbered for no reason at all. And supposedly the new Zhao commander is someone that the likes of Ousen and Kanki should fear and not the other way around.

I cant wait how the Qin will overcome the odds this time, this is so exciting. Just like all the 248586 times before
