The Chapter is out and I couldn’t be more happy about it. We start off where we ended the last chapter with Rebecca standing inside the coliseum with the entire audience literally calling for her death. Damn, Riku what have you done!! I cant stop thinking about Kingdom Hearts whenever I speak Riku out loud. Damn.
The Riku family is not all that popular. People who burn other peoples houses are rarely popular. But we know that this is already a setup by the Doffy-family.
Luckily Cavendish and his horse come to save the day. If Cavendish were to be in any Final Fantasy game, he would be a Knight-Class Character. So much chivalry going on here. I really hope for him to not be another poor Jinbei imitation.
That entrance reminded me of classic wrestling matches, where wrestlers would come in with managers, their stable or anything else and when the action starts everyone disappears. The horse is gone and we’re waiting for the bell, which starts Block D obviously.
Luffy still hates Cavendish. I expect that to be bad translation. (Yup and it was, more of a dislike. Hate is such a strong word.)
Cavendish hasn’t really given Luffy a reason to hate yet. Or am I missing something? You ‘might’ not be all that bad, eh? Another addition to the alliance or another member for the raftel-showdown-club. Loudspeakers, I don’t get the reference but Cavendish wants to be heard. And interviewed after the fight, of course.
Super popular? Frankie hears you.
One fighter retired early. Who might that be? A marine? A new character? A spy of BigMom/Kaido/Blackbeard/Shanks to track the progress of the tournament? Maybe someone who knows what happens to losers?
This pyromancer guy has to be Marco. Look at the hair, look at the eyes. Marco. I will be disappointed if he isn’t.
Dwarf army forces are in for a briefing. The Riku King is already deceased. And they wage war for decades now? On top of that, the King is carried by Robin. Best job ever!
Fujitora seems to keep Law pinned to the ground by his DF while Doffy tells us what the WG is all about. 20 Kings gathered at Mariejoa and created the WG and settled down in MJ as the Celestial Dragons, leaving their country behind. Technically 19 because Alabasta didn’t.
Surprise! One of the royal families was the Don Quixotte Family. Great.
Call that a cliffhanger. I’m interested how this will play out. Is Fujitora loyal to the WG or does he have issues with them. Only way for Law to not get killed is through Fujitora. Nami, Chopper and Brook can’t handle Admiral+Doffy. No one can at this present time.
Cross your fingers for Fujitora being an ex-slave :D. (Not being too serious here.)
