@Supernova122:
Oh, read Skypiea by the way. Basically Nami is bossing around and stuff a lot of times in that arc, including twice she decides the crew need to leave Skypiea. The first time, half the crew get carried off by that lobster. The second, Luffy decides he wants to beat Enel and ring the bell.
So yeah even in the middle of an arc and when stuff is going on, she tends to be commanding by nature, and the only one who really overrules this is Luffy. And certainly the only people in the crew who ever really exert any commanding influence are Luffy, Zoro and Nami, so it's really hard to see how she ends up so low on that original list of yours.
Yeah I get she has a bossy nature, I guess I just feel her usefulness in money matters and discipline are often for comedic reasons and I don't see how that translates to being higher on the 'chain'.
Zoro scene's like before arriving at Alabasta, before arriving at Alubarna, at the end of Water Seven, at the end of Thriller Bark and at Ryugu Palace jump out to me. But I guess people like to separate action sequences from everyday ones.
And since everyone agrees that there is no 'command chain', cause I asked this question as a hypothetical, then I thought certain scenes and dialogue that Oda put in the manga would help my reasoning. As I stated in previous posts, why Oda would bother calling separated groups by a persons name like at Thriller Bark (yes I'm brining up TB again sue me) Usopp, Nami and Choppers group were entiltled 'Usopp's group' or how at Sabaody, through Urouge, Zoro was referred to as the first mate.
But I guess we all have different reasons for why we think what we think. Agree to disagree. If anything you've all convinced me to move her up one spot on my list lol
