I love the fact that Kaidou and Luffy still speech like if it wasn't a fight "hey, i'm not in rubber like you!".
Looks like he is kinda intrigued by Luffy awakening completely crazy and you can see he's asking himself questions.

Kaidou is not fighting trashy neither. Psychologically it's a bit "melted" in his head, + the fact that he was kinda pissed about how it ended with the CP-0 intervention.
Looks like he wants to fight to understand what's going on. And understand Luffy.
Looks like we got a change in the character, he saw everything in his pirate's life…

The power totally fits with Luffy personality and fighting style since the beginning, when their opponent say "fight seriously!" "But that's the way i fight! I'm serious!".
It's the pinnacle of what Luffy is, probably influed from the start by the DF (perhaps the Myth/Nika etc. came after, but i really believe that the max power of him would have been planned to be... Like this. Cartoony)

BB is an opportunist, not a mastermind. Remember that first, he just wanted to capture Luffy and became Shishibukai for taking advantage of it. That was his first plan, then we don't really know if the goal was to open the door of Impel Down and recruit…
Ace was targetting BB, not the contrary. Marineford wasn't intentional at first. But he tooks advantages of, that's what he does, always.

Now, he's just waiting. He let Marines, Yonkou fighting each others or whatever, and wait the good moment to strike.
He's pretty smart, but he don't create everything on purpose, he's not a chessmaster some of you think he is.

Sanji is, as a cook, the guy with the biggest handicap as a fighter in the monster trio : he's only fighting with his feet…
Luffy have a DF and fight with every part of his body. Zoro have 3 swords.

But whatever he's thinking, he still a Vinsmoke and a cook too, even if he denies the Vinsmoke part...Niji gives him the suit. It's not for nothing, i think he recognise him
as a skilled fighter: Sanji can handle things without having super-genetics mods, neither fighiting suit as a weapon, neither using arms.
He gives him the suit only for that and not for "thanking him". That's more by curiosity in my opinion.

It's not a problem while Franky using tweaks for being more powerful (Zoro gaining better swords) Usopp/Nami having new tools… But it is for Sanji?
He's on the same boat (litteraly). OP isn't a strength/strength manga.

I liked technically this chapter, Katakuri badasseness etc. etc. but to be honest, i think that Luffy is way too resistant.
I mean since the beginning of this arc and all that he's done, before this fight… That's way to much for me
One piece have always been credible overally in terms of big details, but Oda seems to loose it sometimes

"Ennoys me" is not the good verb in english but in french it's the same expression as "bores me"

My issue is i don't really mind of this "Whole Cake" island or even Big Mum, seems like a breakdown since the team splits, and there's no humor to save the rest…
That's not this chapter which ennoys me, it's more global.

I need an OP break i think, there is so much others mangas at their top, i lost the envy to follow this one for no on.
I'm in the same mood as i was with Fishman Island, even if the plot is much more essential for the rest of the series.
That atsmosphere reminds me too much Disney and déjà-vu, from a occidental perspective

I don't talk only about the storyline only, and i said that the Tea Party was the only thing i care with Sanji's family.

Dressrosa with their toys and little persons, FI with their mermaids and decors disney style (childish), it's the too much colorful arcs which ennoys me, that's all, it's boring so many consecutive countries with almost the same atmosphere.
FI, Dressrosa and now BM country with their cake have too much in common in their feeling, too much thing seems designed for kids. Toys, Dwarves, Mermaid, Cake and Candies etc.

I talk to many people who are waiting for Wano arc and don't care about BM (i don't really care about this Yonkou neither, no opinion)
They wants something different, a little more "dark" to see SH evolving and discover, or at least a bit more basic/normal, like for example Water 7, Arabasta, even Shaboady (appart from the bubbles floatting, the rest is cool and not "too much") etc.

How can you be a fan of the series but not care at all about someone who's going to be a pivotal figure?

Because she's gonna be a "pivotal figure" i'm obligated to like the character?? You can't have interest of everyone in the series, don't care if it's a Yonkou or whatever else, she makes me totally indifferent. There are too many characters in OP to be interested by everyone.
I'm a big fan of the serie yes, but to be a fan doesn't mean a blind fanboy supporting his football/basket team, following like a sheep and said everything is good.

I've got a very bad feeling about this arc.
Seems this like BM arc/saga is the "too many" arc, déjà-vu concept with an Happy environnement too Disney-ish with a whole country hiding by bad intentions. This could be for me the OP decline.

A Dressrosa/Fishman Island mix. Only good humor with Luffy's doing wtf things can save this from my perspective. I'm only carrying (a little) about the wedding tea party and interested about Germa 66 for the moment, don't care at all to visit Whole Cake Island and others Candies archipel. Neither Big Mum family.

Don't forget that the narrator said "one on one", how can he beat a sea king without be able to goes on water at least?

Plus, what is the point in having an army of Zoan DF users if you are don't?

Because he's got a Zoan army he is a Zoan too, he really needs to be one oblviously? I really don't get that "obvious" point at all, there's no logic behind that line.
He's the captain and leader, not making part of his army. I agree that his alliances and divisions are probably all Zoan btw
Kaidou seems to wants pure strength fighters, certainly like him, and Zoan are the most fit DF for that
