It's just assumed that all loud annoying archetypes in Naruto strive to be Hokage. You don't see Shino going around exclaiming "I WANT TO BE HOKAGE ALL ALONG!"

Anything outside the actual main story just… doesn't count. Its cool to have excessive minor background details that don't fit any other location, but major plot point or backstory stuff shouldn't only exist in those sorts of things, thats wrong storytelling on a fundamental level.
Aside from that point, while databooks (or artbooks or wahtever) are neat, despite input from the creators, they aren't actually written by them, and they're often wrong and filled with factual errors and may not actually be canon...
The OP databooks at least are loaded with mistakes and things (such as saying definitevely Sabo is dead when he's clearly not, getting birthdays wrong, getting flags or bounties wrong, organization members, forgetting characters, giving conflicting data on the same character within the same book, etc.) and I know the Dragonball books just completely made shit up like the later power level scales.
I don't know or care about the Naruto or Bleach databooks, but I'm sure that for every random background tidbit they have, they're just as prone to being completely wrong and halfassed and not straight from the creator.
Ah, I didn't know about that. I don't know much about the Naruto/Bleach one's either, I was just going by the Dragon Ball one's because IIRC those are pretty accurate (Unless the topic is power levels).

This thing that Obito wants to be hokage is a last minute thing so that the main characther and main villain have something in common or else both villains wouldn't have nothing in common with naruto(besides blah blah blah he is totaly a dark naruto blah blah).fact is we only had seen 4 chapters of Obito's life in Kakashi Gaiden…that too in a warring situation...until his recent flashback,we have not seen anything about his life in village and academy...so i think it is fair enough..particularly given the situation he said it..

So how does senjutsu differ from ninjutsu and how the hell did the frog cast a senjutsu spell.Does every ninjutsu become senjutsu when you are in sage mode?If so OP sasuke incoming with sharingan dragon senjutsu or something.Also why didnt naruto use rasen shuriken in senjutsu mode and used a normal rasengan?If he instantly exploited the weekness he saw to the max instead of half assing it , they might have won the damn war.You can bet god-obito(gobito?) will dodge the next senjutsu move.
