So I believe it will be Gold and others objects of value for his crew, for him, for the friends they made and maybe even for enemies they fought( Maybe there is something that was important for Garp. His marine scarf or hat for example. And Whitebeard, maybe his hat). Of course, because he probably put his treasure in Raftel, the Ryo Ponegliph and even Raftel now are part of One Piece too.

Maybe he had a historian/fantasy writer/Bard that wrote a lot of books with stories and musics about their brave travels and the stories they heard from others. And last but not least, the countless gold in his crew possession. That would made a Treasure worth of being called the biggest treasure of all, The ONE PIECE!
More, when the Strawhats reach it, they will discover that the possessions and knowledge they gathered through their travels, supplement if not equals(I don't think so, because Luffy is only traveling for a short time, compared with the years Gold D. Roger made has a pirate) the One Piece that they found. Maybe in the end Luffy makes the same thing as Gol D Roger and let's all his, his crew and his friends valued treasures in Raftek. as for Dolfy's reasoning, i think it is quite simple: if the humans who were turned into toys were in some shape opposing to or in the way of Doflamingo then it is not enough to just turn them to toys because they'll think being a toy isn't so bad. Instead Dolfy also makes the family members forget them and essentially that they can't rejoin their families so that it is a much more cruel punishment but as a system becomes much more effective against "obstacles". Plus, i think that by keeping the memories of the toys he might even threaten them if they try to revolt against him. And don't forget Doflamingo probably enjoys this way more than just erasing all memory.
Example for this: back at Jaya he could have just tell Bellamy to get lost or kill him, but he decided the way he did because, while it seems just more fun to him, it is a better overall way because the shock and the awe work better at stopping inner resistances and hot heads like Bellamy tried to. Additionally, he might have had second thoughts about bellemy or he wanted to give him second chance, and for that he wanted to be sure he won't let him down again. (though it seems Dolfy just wants to get read of him in the most cruel way possible lately)

I didn't notice that…. it would be interesting that the losers of the tourney are involved in some way with the Toys. Add to the fact that the factory is below the Collisium it would seem that the Smile DF Factory, Toys, Gladiators are connected.

The Golden Age of Pirates only started 22 years ago with Roger's death. Nothing has ever ever been said about any previous golden age before that.
Sure there were pirates before that, but it wasn't the same huge race it is now. Mainly because there was no knowledge of One Piece before that. If OP is Roger's treasure or the Real Poneglyph (or both) either way it wouldn't have been something the world was aware of.
There would not have been a huge race through the Grand Line without a goal at the end.
And Roger was the first one to create that goal, and create the huge competition to reach it.The Will that is pulling this individuals together seems to be the overarching themes of the series. I don't think you're really thinking about what the Lost History is if you think it's just jammed into a pile next to family heirlooms and mandarin oranges.
So the toys are Devil Fruit related. Many of us expected as much. They are just too preposterous to be anything but a DF judging by how sentient and integrated into society they were. We have had places full of little mechanical robot men but those were clearly man made and ran on electricity. Though at the same time they seemed to have a will and feelings just as natural as these toys do.
With Milo being thrown unto the scrap pit labeled with a diamond, I've got to assume Diamente is the toy maker or the "commander" of this person.
What were Violets abilities again? I'm wondering if she is the one who has manipulated the populations memories after they were transformed.
I have a feeling Luffy's going to beat the positive memories right back into Chinjao and gain an ally before this arc is all said and done.

There's going to be hits flying left and right. Better start accepting this. I'm not saying this is what I hope to happen; both the toys and the dwarves deserve to be paid full attention. But there's going to be action on a big, big scale, of that I'm sure.
I have no delusions that loads of action is coming, but it annoys me that everything in this country is coming to a head in this one place, which was introduced right off the bat. Much like how Punk Hazard devolved into going back and forth between the lab, and Fishman islands "second act" was just people sitting aroud for a bit before returning to the city, I think its a shame to have the Coliseum be the point where all plotlines are going to be resolved.
- Luffy fights in the tournament, which is right on top of the factory
- Kinemon wants to rescue his friend, who is in the factory
- Everyone from the Dofla family is heading for the factory
- Marines are swarming the Coliseum, right above the factory
- The toy plot is tied to the factory
- Usopp and Robin are going to the factory, courtesy of the dwarves whose subplot will be resolved there
- Sanji gets a map to the factory
- Zoro is being led to the flower field, where the dwarves meet up before the attack on the factory
I just feel it would really help matters if all the subplots were a bit more spaced out geographically, like some fights would be at the palace, Kanjuro would be in a seperate prison, some action were going down in Tontatta etc. Having everything be at the Coliseum makes me afraid it'll be a fragmented, montage-like resolving of plotlines.

The arc developed so far in so many directions which was awesome, but now it seems like Oda tied it all up again.
I also think that this chapter almost confirms that the tournament will be interrupted almost certainly after Block D.
That leaves the DD family members for the SHs as opponents, but the whole tournament so far feels kind of wasted in that way. (even when it was almost certain it wouldn`t end normal)
Bringing the whole action to one place seems to me like waste potential of other cool places which could be explored and used in the story.
I mean iam certain that for the SH vs DD family fights it all will space out again, but that the resulution to all the problems we were confronted in the last chapters could be solved in one place, kind of bothers me.

My excitement was mostly on the that Don C dialog was cementing alot of what many readers suspected over the course of the series. Even before this chapter, I have read various fans posts on different forums/blogs that doubted the "Abundance" of CoC users…. Don C just made it more definitive that there are a bunch of "Conquerors" out there in the sea.
In regards to those Ordained with CoC... its seems pretty clear that those few that are gifted/chosen to be able to use it are special individuals. Though everyone has Haki in them…. not everyone can use it; and even LESS can use CoC. So I called those "Conquerors" the ordained ones not just because they can use CoC, but b/c they are likely the individuals that destined to change the era (ala WB, Roger). Those two were the ones that were able to raise above all the rest in the previous generation.
Its my prediction that in the generations past (before Roger and much further).... there have been CoC users competing in their era as well. For what purpose I don't know... so I speculated that this CYCLE is a destined thing that has occurred throughout the ages. It ties in with the idea of FATE brought up by Don C and others in the series.
Anyway, most of my post was just stuff that was on my mind and thought worth sharing…. we just have to wait and see how the story plays out.

I think you're confusing Lost History and One Piece! Lost History and the Poneglyhps are things from many and many centuries ago, while One Piece is the treasure that Gol. D Roger made, gathered. They are two totally different things! And about it being in a pile of things, the Skypiea Poneglyph was around a lot of gold, in which a lot of them were at you can call family heirloom. The Alabasta Poneglyph was in a grave with a lot of scriptures found in tombs. The Fishmen island was around a forest of coral. So, you're saying that the Ryo Poneglyph can't be around mandarin oranges and family heirlooms, because?

I don't think I said or implied that Haki is genetic…. just that CoC is so rare, more precisely the USE of CoC is so rare, its almost as if there were Ordained by the heavens to have that power (CoC, not Haki overall) and to be the ones to stand above all others.
I think you are taking the "Ordain" part a little too seriously. My purpose in using that term was to emphasize the impact/significance of the individuals that were able to obtain that power. I know Luffy, Ray, Boa, etc were not giving the King's Disposition from the heavens (or maybe they did ;) ) but the fact that only a select few have obtained that power does indicate some level of illustriousness

I think you're confusing Lost History and One Piece! Lost History and the Poneglyhps are things from many and many centuries ago, while One Piece is something that Gol. D Roger made, gathered. They are two totally different things!

Saying they were ordained is the same if not worse than saying they are genetically inclined. You're implying some people are just better than others by birthright as it were.
That's just NOT a thing one finds in shonen let alone most…uh...healthy outlooks on the world.
Boil it down to it's shonen core and Oda is telling his young audience that belief in self is the ultimate power. Not "YOU ARE CHOSEN BY HEAVEN OR NOT".

I'm gonna put it out there that I don't think the tournament is about to be interrupted. Characters like Burgess, Bartolomew and Cavendish have been set up and introduced, but none of them have any reason to give a shit about the factory. It would be weird for Oda to end the tournament for the factory with these three still running around.

Bingo. I'd say Oda even goes so far as to show how and why this is wrong, as with the depiction of the Celestial Dragons. As for 'rights by birth', well, that's why the WG wanted Ace dead. It's shown to be a dangerous, unfair belief.

yes, from whitebeard x roger flashback scene at marinefort war, we know that not all the pirate wants to conquer grand line
(in this case whitebeard, he just want a family and not that interested when roger offer the whereabout of rafftle)
but from crocodille word at impledown, he said many second medalist who had their dreams shatered by roger or whitebeard
from this i take that there are some pirate like roger that have the dream to be the first one to conquer grand line
and because of that theres must be some sort competition between them.

He's not really, though. He's simply saying that some people are more ambitious than others, by nature, which I frankly think is a statement that at the very least can lead to some interesting discussion, which you're more or less attempted to simply sweep aside. I suppose it gets into a matter of nature versus nurture, but I really don't think the claim that some people are naturally more ambitious than others is all that outlandish, at all.
Going with your comparison to reality, how many people exist that are willing to settle for mediocrity, that are content enough with their life if they simply achieve good enough, that have no desire to be leaders, to tread new ground? As you yourself said, people that rise above such a level are the exception, rather than the norm. Yet that doesn't mean that these exceptional people are somehow 'better' than the masses, whatever that would even mean in the first place.
The same goes for the world of One Piece, then. I really don't think it's particularly off to say that, for example, Luffy is, by his nature, more ambitious than say Makino, who seems content to run her bar in East Blue. Where I, or anyone else, would be stating that Luffy is somehow 'better' than Makino in making that claim, I'm not at all sure.
People should maybe give weight to "education" instead of genetics.
It's obvious that Luffy as the son of Dragon and grandson of Garp, and given the "education" he received has more chance to develope CoC.
It's obvious that Ace's life experience, growing as a demon child has and with his father hate relation has more chance to develope CoC.
Most of the D.s have peculiar lifes that makes them struggle enough and have ambition enough to have CoC.
Still it's not genetic, but more a "lifestyle"
