Sakura for Hokage!
I can see her campaign slogan now.
"Sakura: Putting the 'Ho' back in 'Hokage'."

But… that's Tsunade's slogan.
Wow, Kishimoto is just like Toriko, he really has no limits.
Hashirama appearing on the battlefield also counteracts everything Yamato was forced to do in this war.
I really think Kishimoto forgot about him. Not that I mind.
How? Didn't Orochimaru discover how to get people out of the death God, thus Hashirama. Something Kabuto couldn't do?
I want to be Hokage, you want to be Hokage, even Deadpool wants to be Hokage.
For Bleach - So after Ichigo's like what? 4th, 5th, existential crisis? He comes back and conquers the test/obstacle in a second. Yay! Just knowing your mother's background can make you whole again. Glad we had to save this simple explanation for now when everything has gone to shit, instead of 1 year before. That description of a Quincy King that was sealed could have been used as build up, instead of having to explain the fudge Buckbeard actually is after him popping out of nowhere sitting in Hueco Mundo.
And I really don't get why Hisagi was defending Tousen. Sure, he trained under him for a long time, but that guy was a hypocritical criminal with no real morals other than 'ARGH Soul Society is unfair! They allowed the murderer of my best friend to get away scot-free!' If he wants to believe in Tousen's teachings or whatever, shouldn't he also reject Soul Society then?
oh wow jeez poor hinata…

Yeah his hissy fit was a bit weird. Especially in front of the man he actually tried to be like.
The whole Naruto/Sasuke thing that was made up for the most part of Shippuuden being all over in one chapter is really a disappointment. I also can't believe that Sasuke now wants to be Hokage. What was that for? Did I miss something or what? Based on the comments I've heard from friends, former classmates and whatnot, apparently, I am the only person who didn't like this chapter at all. Maybe I'm in some genjutsu where all people around me loved this chapter to death.

What are they saying about it? I want to peer into the mind of, I guess, the "normal" people that are into Naruto. I wonder how the average Joe is taking the chapter. I haven't read it, but just from context clues I can gather that this was a really bad chapter that undid years of developments.

My memories before Obito's reveal is hazy due to the random Chunin vs Zombie fights.
How I recalled it:
Kabuto seals him inside a wall or something to use Hashirama's DNA inside him to mass produce Zetsu.
Wild Sasuke appears. Uses Mean Look. Kabuto defeated. Leaves without mentioning him.
Mizukage defeats main Zetsu.
Hashirama appears. Able to nullify any Zetsu.
That's what I meant about Yamato's role now being utterly pointless and confusing.
Komamura getting character development HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's a good one.

As been said before,as terrible as this chapter is,it's really easy to see why people would go gaga over it.The entire chapter was nothing but raging fanservice.
I feel sorry for Yamato. Although Kishimoto being Kishimoto, we might get a final montage with him in the celebrations, but with no explanation as to who rescued him from the wall.
@Friend:

Maybe that's where Orochimaru, Suigetsu and Karin are since they didn't fly in with the others.
Shonen needs to drug test Kishimoto.
Could someone explain to me how many different people and in what ways tried to persuade Sasuke to come back to the village? It's just that I'm pretty sure he had better reasons to come back in the past, when his brother died answering his questions or something or how Naruto met Sasuke once at the beginning of Shippuuden etc. It's just that this one explanation is a load od BS and I'd love to see how many times and in what other ways did Sasuke have the chance for redemption…
When Sakura shows her "real" power, I fear this thread will self implode with sheer awesomeness. That or we will flame the fuck out of the next chapter.

Hmmm… I'm afraid ur biggest mistake is assuming that it'll happen on the next chapter. It's a female character, so any development (if any) will have lower priority than that of a male's (especially Sasuke's). So Sakura will show what she's capable of in.... a year or so.

Maybe the time when he took care of Orochimaru, the man who murdered the Third Hokage,
plus Deidara, the person who kidnapped the Fifth Kazekage, very nearly killing another Kage,
plus Itachi, the guy who slaughtered the entire Uchiha Clan.
Pretty sure that Konoha probably would have accepted him back.

If i remember correctly, that was Naruto's first assumption too.
"Itachi's dead? So… Sasuke's coming back, right?"
oh wow jeez poor hinata…
I will quote this for truth.
Really, the last time Naruto's and Sakura relationship had any development was in the beggining of part 2. These last couple of years we saw Hinata standing up for herself and getting side by side with Naruto only for the poor girl's heart to be broken…
You're a shitty guy, Kishimoto, a very shitty guy.
But as far as the rest of the chapter goes I liked it.
It was too ridiculous not like it. When Sasuke said he wanted to be hokage I laughted, not just in a "oh that's so silly" way but because for some reason it reminded me of simpler times like Part 1, when the series was pretty good.
Boy, I hope the next chapters are as fun as this one.
Get ready
! You better get fucking ready bitch!

I was browsing through BA forums and found some very interesting, orgasmic posts. It somehow made me appreciate the spirit and loyalty of Bleach fans… but also made me hate Kubo more. It is very unlike here where criticism is evenly tolerated and encouraged.
! For me, the most shocking things were (in this order):
! 1. Rukia meeting Aaroniero (Espada #9) and he revealed the face of Kaien Shiba. I nearly crapped myself. I felt this emotion that I honestly could not name because it was totally foreign to me. Still don't know what it was.
! 2. Momo finding Aizen's body impaled high up on that wall in the Seireitei. Of course, it wasn't really his body, but I didn't know that at the time I read that part. I felt a similarly unique emotion when I read this scene, too, although before reading the Rukia/Aaroneiro scene.I still don't know what it was because it was like I was discovering a new emotion that no one has ever experienced before!
! 3. Aizen revealing himself as the villain behind all the hullabaloo going on is the SS arc. I knew he wasn't dead because I idiotically spoiled that for myself, but I didn't know why he wasn't really dead. That reveal was pretty shocking!
! 4. Aizen's last metamorphosis during the Deicide arc. Ugh, this one was so ghastly, I thought I'd cry**.** Didn't know Aizen was going to be normal-looking again later and thank goodness, he was.
! 5. Orihime getting fed-up with Ulquiorra's crap and slapping his face! That was not only unexpected, butfelt really good to see. You go, girl….
Is it safe to assume that Bleach fans are more hardcore and loyal than OP fans?

Not really in any sense. I don't want to start fan wars but most of the people on BleachAsylum only stick around for less than a year, while we've got a lot of people that still enjoy One Piece who have been around for half a decade to a decade. The admin of the place left, all of the original moderators left except like, one. Our mods are a different batch from our very early days, but they've stuck around quite a while. They also tend to read exclusively Bleach and/or Naruto, while a lot of our users read a lot of manga and other stuff and still enjoy One Piece.
If only Bleach itself could discover some new emotions.
It's like Kubo made his own cult without even knowing it.
Well in my opinion , i think Sasuke is a better choice for Hokage of the Leaf, only if to make amends of the past mistake, like the choosing of Hashirama over Madara for Hokage…due to trust issues and red eye prejudice(LOL) ....but in all seriousness it will finally make one Uchiha at least feel that the village accept and trust The Uchiha Clan...but i think it's better to have two active Hokages...so why not let both NARUTO and SASUKE be the 7th and 8th Hokage ( if the village counts Danzo as 6th Hokage ) If not then 6th and 7th Hokage.
Yup, to who ever said that thing about Sasuke and Naruto becoming Hokages, some Naruto Base idiots wantiit to happen.. why am I not surprsied?
I may have missed something in the fine print but why is Naruto still hell bent on becoming a Hokage? Didn't he just want to have people accept him? Naruto has already met his goal, surpassed it even since he is considered to be the village's messiah, not to mention the retcon that village didn't actually hate him in the first place. Then there's all that Itachi talk about it being the other way around, that the one who is acknowledged is the one who becomes a Hokage. So uhm… what's left for Naruto now? He should just stand aside for Shikamaru or someone else who isn't nearly as dumb as he is.

Sasuke is not deserving of the position. He tried to kill everyone from Leaf like 6 hours ago.

Is Danzo considred a bad guy? not to Sasuke, but to the leaf?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I barely remember anything about him, but didnt he care about the leaf more than anything else?

Danzo? Yeah I guess he did care about the village. Isn't he dead? I'm not sure why you are asking lol.

Because Sasuke killed him.
Yeah, "assassinating the hokage" really shouldn't be on the list of forgivable offenses. But hey, they're randomly cool with Orochimaru now, so why not Sasuke.

To be fair, the Third Hokage is standing in front of them right now, the crime was clearly never committed in the first place.
Soooo. how are they going to die now? I am talking about the hokages.. unless they decide to die, anything else will feel forced as hell.
They'll probably say some shit about "leaving it to the next generation" before having Orochimaru undo the ET (after they've saved the world, of course). And it'll be completely trite, since this manga has made it clear that, in most cases, the old timers will always be leagues better than those who come after them…

what's the point now that the uchiha clan does not exist anymore??

I swear I was thinking the same thing when I saw that post.
Well, Sasuke could start mating like a rabbit, to repopulate the Uchiha clan and save it from extinction… :ninja:

Kishi turns the manga into a Sasuke harem story.
…..hahahaha sorry, I couldn't say it with a straight face. Oh, can you imagine?
That'd be a lot of incest wouldn't it?
Or I guess a lot of invetro fertilization and genetic ninja magic going.
Or mybe someone will be smart enough to let that clan die out. Emo genes are clearly not something the world should want to pass on.
That'd be a lot of incest wouldn't it?
Sure, but I doubt that clan could get any worse, at least looking at their actual genetics (love cancer)…
LOL WUT Kubo loves Aku no Hana anime.
2 Questions: What translations are best for Bleach and Naruto? They don't seem to have the saving grace of people like CCC, so I have to use mangastream, and though usually it's fine, sometimes the dialogue can be terrible.
And what did you people think of the Isshin/Masaki flashback as a whole?
And what did you people think of the Isshin/Masaki flashback as a whole?
Well….
Back in the early days, the Isshin and Masaki story was pretty dramatic and....tragic, dare I say? So I did like that Kubo was gonna showcase the two of them (how they met, etc.).....Isshin was as goofy as ever and while Masaki was a little too much like Orihime, she was fun to watch too.
I also liked how Masaki rejected the whole "we're pure blood Quincies, help no one, especially not shinigami" way of thinking.....then the flashback kinda turned sour.
a) pacing was slow as sin for a few chapters
b) It was unresponsible and reckless of Isshin (A CAPTAIN) to easily accept losing his powers to save some girl he barely knew....but it goes in line with his brashness as a whole and hey, I'd prefer a few Shinigami to be honestly good
c) Urahara being more stoic corrupt scientist than quirky plot device mentor….also, Masaki being naked for a chapter and a half was weird. Like the blackface doctors.
but in relation to just the two of them-
d) I feel like....the actual connection between the two was barely there. Or at least, the reader doesn't get as emotionally invested as they did back when we first learned of the backstory. Maybe there could've been more scenes of the two getting to know each other? Or am I just a big sap?
Let's not even get into Bach killing her and not Grand Fisher.
Overall, it wasn't bad, but there was something....missing a whole.

You're not, Kubo realy screwed up actualy establishing a relationship, even though the setup was there.
