Yeah this is the only part fo the whole thing that I got a problem with, they always report us a day before the chapter comes out/they start printing when by fact Oda should have been in the hospital before that time but how they do things I guess

It's obvious that Kaido isn't the strongest thing alive, because he wouldn't have turned tail when confronted by Shanks. This is reinforced by the fact that Kaido is apparently fearless and merciless, and yet, he still turned tail.
Why would a fearless and merciless CREATURE (according to Law, not even a human from the sounds of it), that can't be reasoned with (also according to Law), "talk it out" (with Shanks)? Why wouldn't he just plow right through him, especially if, according to some of you, he's the strongest thing on the planet?
I love Kaido, he's my favorite Yonko, but even I know he isn't the strongest thing on the planet. He's the strongest non-human thing.

I normally dont comment on such events but when it comes to Aohige vs 2 other people lately

There was no reson to fight, from both sides.
It was very bad to read.
We all know that you are THE Aohige but still it was too harsh for simple talk on forum and it was not like anyone was throwing insults or something like that to trigger such flame. But thats only my opinion and as I am new here there is possibility of me being heavily bashed. I said what I wanted, I have no regrets :ninja: -

Btw about the previous chapter I liked it. Must say I expected Ricky to play a more important role in terms of strength in this tournament, but kind of expected Bellamy to get "wasted"
Bartholomeo is also shaping out as an interesting dude. I would kind of like to see some of his history unfold to get more involved into his character. Don't know why but I feel he is not the guy people think he is -

Well after few first posts here I got explanation of "trial by fire" as I am new to this forum- from one one older members- when I kept on discussing in one of thread about something that was somehow crucial for me and some other posters. So yea, thats how I do think right now… Sadly. I post on Mangahelpers since 2009 and decided to try as from outside this forum looked really friendly and like one that gives a lot of freedome to posters, with some open minded people.

I reckon it'd be the reverse. Kaidou seems like the type of Yonkou to have the biggest army.
Biggest Army =/= Best A-list team. I mean that guys like Ben Beckman and Lucky Roo and such are significantly more powerful than Kaidou's #2/3/4, etc.
Its also probably one of the reasons why Law thinks he and Luffy have a shot, as if they can come up with a way to weaken Kaidou, the rest of his organization should probably be alot easier to deal with.

And you know what happens when two Yonkous fight + another one is fighting the marines? SHIT happens, big names will take advantage of the situation and start going ham all over the new world and then BAM we got new yonkous and not a lot of marines to restrain the chaos

Nope, no chapter today.
Next chapter (for us internet pirates), around the 5th of June, as redon said.
It's a shame we don't have a side story written by Oda and drawn by one of his assistants about the younger days of Shanks, or Whitebeard, or Garp, or what have you, to fill these 2 weeks.
Of course, with Magi that happened with the author being in perfect condition, and here we have Oda suffering from a relatively serious illness.
But it might be something interesting for the next time Oda has a voluntary break (and I sincerely think he should consider that, since he needs a good vacation).
Meanwhile, I'll start Kingdom. Looking ok so far (chapter 7).

We get the chapters before they are released in Japan. The spoilers we would be getting around now, and the chapter that would be coming out tomorrow, would be from the May 27th issue, from which One Piece will be missing.
Just yet another thing to keep in mind for those who are actually ungrateful enough to complain about 'late' spoilers or releases, not that I've necessarily seen anyone doing so recently.

Boy am i glad i made it through all 53 pages this chapter discussion. (need to make time to read them in their entirety every week.) Some of the discussions were hilarious. still ROFL from the double answer to a question and the "TOO RAAATTTEEE!" meme
smashing trolls, debating haki against Hax DF's. Kaido theories about race/DF, this totally makes up for the lack of chapter this week in my opinion.
ON TOPIC: Oda get well soon (do something about the cigarettes), and continue to amaze us weekly when you return.

He needs to at least chill some maybe not do anything besides the manga like no more interviews and movies for a year or two. Jeez, he's gonna be lucky if he is as healthy as Togashi in a few years.
