Getting Naruto out of the way first:
Well, good thing Kishi himself acknowledges how pointless the last War cliffhanger was. Not even for a single nanosecond did anyone assign any importance to the Naruto + Lee Strikes Through The Madara Buddies Spread, so we might as well not acknowledge it happened.
What, both villains were supposed to have been bisected by the protagonists in a big heroic moment? LOL don’t remember that at all
Oh look a rare Sakura sighting
Imagine if she was one of the original main protagonists, that’d just be sad haha
And what the fuck at Obitos logic this chapter.
“If you still have a bond to your dead friends, then why do you need to protect them?”
Or as I hear it
“since you still remember people fondly after their death, it doesn’t matter at all if they die!”
I mean….what?
Fucking WHAT?
Even for a Naruto villain that’s a remarkably dense (and shallowly “deep”) mentality
Rest of the chapter was par for the course, Naruto talks about the importance of friends, while all his friends are completely dependent on NaruJesus for survival
Bleach:
Now THIS is what I’m talking about! This is the Bleach I know! The Bleach I can rant and rant and rant over- and you know what? This time I might actually have the time to do it! This chapter, and indeed, this entire flashback, just fails so fucking bad at not only the logical level, but even more sadly, the storytelling level.
I can’t wait to tear this one to shreds, but for now I’ll just say: I’ve always stressed that everyone seemed to ignore what a remarkably evil bastard Urahara was, but this week, he’s officially Despicable Evil Scientist level. I mean, we’re talking Old School Mayuri here.
Fucking Mogamett had nobler intentions and better ethics than this guy.

Oh, and regarding Kubos little tangle of messed up species relations, yeah, it makes no sense. At all. Just because of one little word:
ARRANCAR.
Did they spontaneously explode, Y/N

@Supernova122:
Assuming this isn't a plothole/retcon, I guess that:
Shinigami are dead, while Quincies are alive. Quincies destroy hollows while Shinigami purify them –> opposites
Hollows are dead, while humans are alive. Um ... hollows are 'evil' (minus) while humans are still relatively whole a pure, or something. Maybe.
The purify/destroy thing is a matter of actions, not existence.
By this logic, a newborn Quincy, a pacifist quincy, or an accountant who doesn't know he is a quincy, ceases to be no more opposite to shinigami than regular humans, who are also "alive".
