@Aohige_AP:
Some interesting quotes from the past:
"Sometimes I see some kids who just don't get it, so let me explain.
Readers don't have the right to change the story they read.
The right they hold is the choice to read the story or not.
If you don't like it, stop reading."
"If you think you have the talent to draw something more interesting than Bleach,
then you should become a manga artist immediately. If your work is good, it'll
be more successful than Bleach. If you can't draw, then work hard to become an
editor, and give advices to manga artists. If you really have the talent,
you'll be welcomed wherever you go."
"To pander to the readers, partially or wholly, is the same thing as
shoving responsibility to the readers. If you make someone pay for a
work you don't fully believe it to be good, that's a fraud.
That's how I feel"
You know, funny thing is, I actually agree with him.
I just don't think he realizes how much he sucks.
I'm laughing my ass off at the last one because that's exactly what Kubo's been doing for years. Be it excesive tits (which is pandering to at least a part of your audience, isn't it ?) or showing random characters with no connection to the main character into the foreground simply because the readers for some reason love them, see Hitsugaya.
Second, yeah the bottom 5 status you've plunged your series into is in no way an indication people don't want to read your series anymore.
Beyond that, it's still his usual, taking awfuly corny and general statements and using them to cover his ass. Because realy, these all seem like he's being defensive about it, and I get the feeling he's the kinda guy to never acknowledge he was wrong and that never wants to admit he did something wrong, regardless of what it was.
I realy wanna know, did something similar happen on his page during the time the Fullbring arc just crashed and burned so bad he had to jet speed through the thing to get it over with ?
