I just noticed something, someone had asked earler in thread if there were more than one G-5 base because of marines on the island where the villagers were asking Vergo to look for their kids. The answer is no. I found the page in ch 673 and it says "on a certain island" never does it say G-5 is on that island. In fact one says they're also Marines from G-5, so they are not from that island.

@CCC:
-Vergo came in on a S.A.D. Tanker [ship]
-Law said the only way to escape to the sea while bypassing Shinokuni is through the R-66 gate. We can see from the mini-map that R-block has a very long passageway, presumably leading away from the main island to… a submerged harbor for submarines? A separate, smaller island where ships can dock? Perhaps Vergo came in that way during his first appearance (it was a long, dark, passage).
-The S.A.D. room is in D-block, as the voice on the PA tells us.
-If R-66 is the only way off the island through the lab, then the S.A.D. room does not serve as an exit.
-The S.A.D. room is where S.A.D. is produced. They say that.
-They can't be producing tanker ships in a room that doesn't lead directly to the sea, and the outside world wouldn't be using tankers produced by a mad scientist on an island that everyone assumes is abandoned.
-S.A.D., itself, is not a type of ship. As someone said earlier, it's probably a fuel or chemical of sorts. If Law "became a Shichibukai just to get into that room," and get away with some S.A.D. (as Monet says), it must be the only source of S.A.D. in the world. If it could be obtained in an easier way, he wouldn't have gotten involved with the government or Caesar.
-If S.A.D. is such a rare thing, produced by a single mad scientist, the S.A.D. tanker can't very well be a prevalent and common thing known to the world. Maybe it's only known by underworld brokers and baddies? Maybe the ship itself isn't powered by S.A.D., but simply ships it out to customers?
-Monet, upon understanding Law's intentions, mentions that stealing some S.A.D. and kidnapping Caesar are both integral to the plan. It's not simply a matter of Luffy distracting Caesar so that Law's heart isn't crushed. Caesar must somehow be used in conjunction with S.A.D. in order to produce Law's desired effect.
-The "Caesar + S.A.D." effect is no doubt part of the plan to take down a Yonkou, but will also throw the New World into chaos? Or perhaps Vergo meant that taking down a Yonkou would in itself be what throws the New World into chaos.
Sorry. Just a random train of thought.
No need to be sorry! For a random thought, its explored throughly, I like the theroy
@Noqanky:
I'm still a bit confused about the heart issue.
So Law wants Smoker to take Vergo down to keep his heart, well, uncrushed. But what about Caesar having Smoker's heart? Or Law having Monet's?
I seriously don't know where this heart business is going …
I know exactly where it's heading…a headache (at least for me
@igetownd:
This chapter is insane.
Anyway, gotta think carefully whether Monet has a DF or not, and what that DF is. I think she used an weapon that created a hardened wall similar to Shinokuni's hardening. However, she has bird features that she never takes off. She's also incredibly fast, and was able to grapple Luffy. I'd actually lean towards a bird fruit, since many birds are fast. I can't tell which species though.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Looking at Monet's attack panels, she's definitely using an ability but not an item. Could she be a mythical Zoan? Or is she a logia with bird transplants, and just happens to be very fast.
I don't think she's a zoan, not even mythical zoan…let's face it if she's any type of zoan, it would be bird and then she wouldn't be able to make the substance. IF we look at the one panel were she stops Luffy's attack on CC, we can see something come off her wings=
This reminds me of people who can create sustances/elements from their bodies. Looks quite similar to how Mr.3 has wax dirp from his arms or how Smoker or CC has 'lumps' rise up off their partially transformed body part. This suggets she is creating something from her body, ruling out a zoan DF.
Many people will, and have already done so, say its a paramecia and creating it from her body. I like to point out something CC said earlier in ch 675 about Monet transforming to follow Law. That seems to rule out paramecia …unless more info is given, llike full transfformation (rules out it out) or partial transformation (as we see with Daz Bones & Ms Doublefinger, paramecias can do partial transformations.
And no, I do not thing her transformed state is a bird or a harpy... Law would have noticed. However if she is a HArpy that is a logia, and transformed into her element, then Law wouldn't have noticed.
Until we get more info (hopefully next chapter will answer Luffy's ? of what powers she has) I am leaning towards her being a logia- maybe model snow.
