I loled when the kids asked if Brooke was human. Lol I didn't pay attention to BB's claws. Ace was obviously not there.
Next chapter will be the straw hats finishing the fights and Luffy destroying Noah. I am guessing that Luffy destroying FI was rather symbolic (going back to zero).
I wonder if Zoro will get poisoned or see through his tricks.
Great chapter and I can't wait to see what will happen in the next arc.

We didn't see Neptune's reaction yet, so he must be getting mixed feelings about this.And judging from Hyouzou's expression, he might have a trick up his….tentacles. :ninja:

Ever since the TS, Brook has been rapidly rising to the top of the ranks of my favorite characters in One-Piece. This chapter has pretty much cemented him at the top of that list, right along side Usopp.

BTW, on the panel with Hyouzou, the sfx sound is a pun.
It's both the sound of a blood pumping or liquid flowing, (doku) and the word "poison" (also doku).
The untranslated text under it is smirkSo yes it's quite obvious he's already got poison dripping, and about to fight with it.

Gattling Elephant Gun, Usopp's boss statue on the cover page, Brook's speech, and Whitebeard flashback were the highlughts of the chapter for me. No One Piece next week makes me something something…

So, Hody took quite a bit of damage. I don't think anyone has been damaged like that by Luffy before? Fire/Heat and smoke is releasing from Hody's back. Not to mention that the flesh on his back seems to have broken open a little.
I'm not sure how I feel about Monster Point being under control by Chopper. I'd at least hope that it has limited use until he actually goes berserk. I know it looks awesome, but why is Chopper pulling out all the stops? Heavy point looks decent enough to take on these guys.

There's supposed to be one big point of how weak the NFP really are, that no matter what, they just cannot compare to the combined power of the Straw Hats.
I'm glad to see Luffy actually destroying Noah seems to be what Shirley predicted (hence why she was in this chapter), now I'm really looking forward to all the fun, happy times in paradise under the sea!

Because humans prefer relying on anything they hear as explanation over figuring stuff out for themselves. In general/the majority, at least. Also, rather than evaluating explanations for their validity, they tend to accept either the first they've come across (and leave it at that), or the "worst sounding" one - meaning something shocking. By the way I must say it's really nice to see the SH taking it to the next level. Now they seem to be pulling out the big guns. I can't help but wonder if they will do a combo attack against Noah. I am especially wondering about Nico Robin. So far she seems to show off the least out of the SH. I wonder what kind of an attack she would pull out

{Warning to self: try to wake up before reading!} hehe I saw Rubber Band Land, and thoguht "Rubber" and thought it may refer to entire crew since Luffy=rubber and it may have other crewmates in there. But after Waking up (and slapping myself) I remember that it was Usopp that traded rubber bands for dials not others. Great chapter, luffy displayed some awesome moves especially Elephant Gatling. Nice catch on the blackbeard claws i didnt even notice that the first time around, i just assumed it was a background pirate. So hes gonna destroy the ship? What about the kings whole speech about protecting the ship?
Luffy missed that speech. Even if he did hear it, he would see protecting people more important than protecting a ship.

Remember that Monster Point has another side-effect - it drains his energy. He can probably use it longer, but it's still limited, and if he runs out he can't move.
We can't hold that true until Oaa shows it since so much of Chopper's transformations has changed. He used to need to take the Rumble Ball to transform into the varitations and take 3 to transform into Monster Point. Tht has changed so maybe the side effects have changed as well.

True to a point. While the admin tries very hard to make sure the info is accurate, it is too easly for anyone to change things there. Best idea is to use it as a reference, such as finding the chapter where it was said (as this person did, he quoted a ch#), then go to the manga for that chapter.
Its good for a referance but should not be counted as the final say since some people like to add stuff and I find that other people like to …edit...even the truth on certain characters. I've posted info on Usopp, going into details, and stuck to the truth but to come back later so see ti was changed. It was still true but much smaller and some details taken out. REcently they gotten more...selective...over pics posted. I had post three pics but only used one from ch 644 to post in Usopp,showing Usopp holding three finger up as he confronted Daruma. It was taken down without telling me why, I go and see others were taken down too.
I had to go to one of the admin's page to ask what was wrong with it. I got some bull about he prefered pics from the raw scan that has not been edited. I never got an answer when I asked where to go for raws so I could post the Usopp pics. And the unedited part is pure bull. :wassat:I've seen pics with teh same edits as I did, pic was cropped and white out the speach bubbles.

Ever since Neptune has said that ship must not be moved until it is needed I've thought there has been something inside of it, one of the lost weapons… at the least something else of significance which will probably be a turning point in this arc. At the moment the enemies seem a little too easy? I've enjoyed the arc but I always think Oda will add another twist.

This. ^^ (Add to that the recent epicness of his seiyu in the anime, and he's truly in a league of his own!)
Except for me it is alongside Zoro. Usopp is still that way too annoying dude for me, whereas Zoro has augmented his 'interesting' world views with the delicious philosophical touch of Mihawk. :)

I really really liked the Jinbe-Sanji dynamic. If Luffy and Zoro are the heavy hitting two, Sanji and Jinbe would be the tactical combat pair. Sneaky AND strong. It could work out really well…

Don't know if anyone ever mentioned this. I am thinking about Caribou, what role he will play later on, why he is in FI after getting a free ride on Sunny, and the fact he is still "missing"…I think later on he will involve in awkward situation when people notice his presence and start suspecting him, and afraid of being owned by large number of people, he could say " I merely wanted to protect the lovely mermaids (from imminent danger of falling Noah) by absorbing them into my body"....Then somehow there would be no other way for him except to go to the surface together with SHs, so he make a "heart-touching" appeal to SHs to bring him with them. Possibly still planning to backstab careless SHs in his mind, but always end up in failure in a funny way, somehow by the end of time he would always be with SHs...always..and becoming a nakama somewhat like Buggy in Roger's crew.

I think the important part is that there was no indication that Chopper had to use a Rumble Ball to get to Monster Point. If this is the case, what Point has he developed that still needs a Rumble Ball?

I'm glad I was dumb enough to believe that would happen.To be fair, it certainly looked like it went through his chest, much moreso than the situation with Kalifa, and lightning (as energy) kinda tends to "go through" objects more than actual explosions do. ._.
I really liked Hody to the end, honestly. I liked his brief panels of trying to fill himself with ES, just to show how futile that was. Murasame was also a really cool technique. XD
And I'm glad to see that Luffy isn't one-shotting Noah (which I think was Crossword's concern in the spoiler thread); whittling it down with Elephant Gatling is much more believable, if slightly less cool.
