@talli:
How do we know it's the same book?
We don't.
It's just fun to imagine Zoro being such a slow reader that he still won't finish it by the time they reach Raftel.
@Don:
Btw: No longer a Tool quote as your sig…I hope your next one will be an APC(a perfect circle) one:happy:
I hadn't intended to change it from Tool, but then I heard "Flat of the Blade" by Massive Attack and that one section of the song was a perfect match for the opening of Chapter 597. Too bad I discovered it a chapter too late…
I'll keep it a while longer, then go back to the usual Tool one.
Though there is another Massive Attack quote (from "Risingson") that is a serious contender ..
@Pacer:
i'm really hoping zoro attacks luffy when they see each other, so that zoro knows that luffy is strong enuf to carry them to the new world
Highly unlikely.
If anything, it should be the opposite: Zoro was the one who could barely stand up when they last saw each other.
@Maki707:
I think it is workable of them being a 'good guy' struggling force trying hard to protect all the islands under thier protection since pirates are no longer as afraid of them rather than, say, allies that show up simply to help Luffy at some point.
This is my feeling about it too – that they'll try to do their best to keep it together to honor WB's and Ace's memories, but that they'll eventually get either so thinned out or so overwhelmed that they'll need to ally with the SH or some other "good" force.
@I:
And to be picky, but it is an important disinction, "Yonkou" is not a "position" to be taken. It's a manufactured title … It's different from "the Royal Shichibukai," because that was a position created to balance power with the specific intent of always maintaining the number at 7, so that when there are vacancies, replacements are sought. See the difference?
Well said, Buster!
