@wewacian:
don't know, but the fact that it was two days after should put atleast a little doubt in your mind, afterall we don't know the traveling time between luffy and zoro's island. Unless you think Dragon would wait around a two days for no reason, other than to save sabo.
… I have to look for the East Blue map now right?
There's a pretty good reason for Dragon to stay at Goa and see the World Nobles, To see the final goal of his dream, what exactly he's trying to destroy.
There's a better reason to Go all to Zoro's island, go back to see the nobles, and then go back, especialy because Zoro's teacher's help wasn't espected by the Revolutionaries, they got there the morning after the fire, treated some injured, as the ship was currently filled with burned people, it shouldn't move, so dragon went back himself to chech on the Dragon Folk.
There's a pretty good reason for Dragon's ship to go Inmediatly to Zoro's island, to tend a shipton of burned people.
There's a good reason for Dragon to be able to sail back to his ship, he has another boat/ he stole a boat.
As for distance, The only travel that had a clear timeframe was from Baratie to Arlong Park, less than a Day, East Blue doesn't have any fucked up weather, minor pirates wouldn't be an Issue for Dragon, and he knew exactly where to go. The next map, directly from Databook Blue, shows that in fact, Baratie and Arlong Park are pretty far, If I cared enough, I would draw a circle centered on the coast of Fushia (we don't know what coast Goa's Port is, Probably if we check the sun...) You'd see that A one day trip covers many islands.
We don't know exactly what island Zoro's Teacher's Dojo is, but over half of East blue's islands are reachable within the same travel time that baratie-arlong Park had.
!
The same map, fanmade, and easier to read.
