Aohige's translation seems to imply that Shanks respects Sengoku the same way he respected Whitebeard.

While Molokidan's translation implies that Shanks is saying that he and Sengoku both respected Whitebeard even though they were enemies.

So which one is it? Usually I would take Aohige's translation as the right one without asking, but somehow Molokidan's translation sounds more like the kind of thing you would expect Shanks to say there.

(Though using some interpretation while reading Aohige's translation it's is possible to understand it as saying the same thing Molokidan's translation says, it just isn't doing it so clearly, and leaves the interpretation I gave more evident.)

While this chapter was Oda just playing catch up on events that happened during the flashback. I really like how it was all played out and we won't have as many answers as we did before.

Luffy realized that he has is crew is great because we won't have to deal with that angst later on. Good for Oda and good for Jinbei to slap him back to his senses. Now let's see Luffy talk to Hancock!

And I will repost my theory from the Spoiler thread. I think SA is too hot for the SHs to use as a meeting place at the moment, and Rayleigh would know that. Since the Vivre cards lead them to Rayleigh, not SA, I think there's a chance he'll move the ship somewhere safer and they'll meet where-ever that may be.

What a moving chapter. You can feel Luffy's pain just pour off the page like his tears. Right now he needs his crew for support and he knows that. The reunion will be a touching event.

Dadans emotional outburst at Garp was awesome. That is the first time I have ever seen Garp vulnerable.

And…about time Luffy realizes the obvious: he never lost his crew and as long as they support one another, they'll get to the end of the line together. Of course it took a beating from Jinbei to get him to realize that...

And I do love both that we got the Garp/Dadan interaction (guess Garp's choosing to stay on Dawn Island for the moment) and the Whitebeard/Ace funeral set up by Shanks. We're definitely approaching movement now.

About the chapter, I love the panel with the tomb of Ace and WB, it was drawn with so much detail. And the pan that Oda drew leading to the tomb, with all the WB pirates there. It's nice to see Jozu doing so well too.

Dadan's reaction was also great, as well as Makino, and Garp sure knows how to hide his feelings. But, I wonder why Garp went to Luffy's hometown right away.

The entire flashback didn't really get to me, mostly because the heartstrings it was tugging on with Sabo being "dead" rang false.

But this chapter? Showing Dadan and Garp? Shanks, and then Luffy, with more flashbacks? It broke me.

at last!!! we'll finally see the crew again, although for me it hasnt actually been that long cus i only started reading one piece in january so by the time i caught up to the present story line the seperation had already happened a long time ago.

also im glad it didn't have luffy mopping for too long, by the end of this chapter he's already started to move on, although i doubt that he'll be back to his old conifident self anytime soon

The hat is far more useful than Vivi. And if Luffy doesn't count, than I think it's Carue and Luffy's hat.

Also, there is always the chance that Luffy can't count.

Great chapter. I liked seeing Fuusha Village's reaction to recent events (kind of funny that they're afraid of all these pirates but they're good friends with a Yonkou and the future Pirate King, but it's understandable), the funeral for Ace and Newgate (their headstones were great), and Jinbei beating some sense into Luffy be reminding him he hasn't lost everything.

You've been around here as long as I have, so you know better than to stay stuff like this. This irks me. Vivi and Carue, despite not being active members of the Crew, were a part of the Strawhats and are featured in EVERY montage of the Crew with animals that Oda has drawn since. Saying they're not Crewmates is like saying Ace was no longer a Shirohige Pirate for taking off after Teach... and that's just stupid.

Actually for me is quite the opposite, law didnt left, he has to go there anyway, maybe he still need to help luffy with his doctor skills and hancock cant be sailing luffy to anywhere he need

what we got is another chapter of rounding the story up so far..
still a decent chapter.
