Holy shit this chapter. I really don’t know what to say beyond that. Holy shit.
I don’t buy into the “Pudding did it” theory, but I also don’t see how they could possibly escape. Even if that isn’t the Sunny we see burning, escape still seems impossible. And what of Germa? Bege and Chiffon? How are any of them supposed to flee? These two weeks will be agonizing.
This change didn't bother me all that much, outside of the "no real reason" factor. After all, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. And ultimately, the underlying meaning is unchanged. But the "someone/Luffy help me" and the "he's really going to die/there's nothing we can do" is a significant enough change to the underlying meanings of the lines, in my opinion. And that's where I really have the objections.
At the end of the day,, it could just come down to the lines not working with the lip flaps. That's always a problem when it comes to dubbing.
Wow, I'm really loving all of the voices now that we've gotten to hear them some more. Hawkins is still the MVP. Not gonna lie though, Rayleigh's took some time to grow on me, but I'm pretty happy with it.
I'm about the watch the separation episode. Not sure if I'm ready to hear Colleen's take on Luffy's breakdown. If it's even half as phenomenal as Stephanie Young's reading of "I wanna live" then I'm going to be a blubbering mess.
What's with Todoroki showing up of nowhere? Is there any actual explanation for this besides "I got a text"?
Using two "Shows up in the nick of time" in a row has got to be some kind of crime, doesn't it?
Deku's not an idiot, so I doubt he thought he could beat Stain on his own. As KageKageKing pointed out, we see him texting, but it's behind his back, so I think he may have just sent out a mass SOS text to the class.

In a perfect world, Tim Curry would be able to voice Iva, and Funimation would have been able to get him, but, alas, we are not in a perfect world. Can't wait till they reveal who they got for him.
So Ant Man
! was a ton of fun. It definitely seems as if it is still 90% Edgar Wright's film with some MCU crammed in there just because.
! Honestly, outside of maybe Guardians, this film got the biggest and most consistent laughs out of me than any other Marvel film. The script brought the funny, and the actors delivered fantastically. The overwrought sentimentality and clunky exposition were the only real weak points for me.
! And then there was Cross. He was basically Jebediah with daddy issues, but Corey Stoll chewed the scenery so well that it just worked for me.
! The action scenes also deserve a mention, as they were frenetic but still contained a lot of humor.
! I dunno… It exceeded my expectations, and I may have to say I loved it. I definitely want to go see it again.

can't show a little patience?I'm not saying reddit or 4 chan discussions need to be kept in check, that's not in our jurisdiction. But can't the Arlong Park community respect the Arlong Park community?
All the talk of respect and support just goes down the toilet once there's a bit of competition. It turns into just lip service.
"Oh well , these other guys are doing it early too" doesn't mean you HAVE to join in. You can still keep your convictions and still wait till Monday. This particular crowd will wait, no problem. ANd they'd all still read it and discuss it on Monday. (Apparently for months I was the only one doing this… since I wasn't even looking prior to the official release) Or, they'll read the shitty translation on Thursday, then read your better version on Monday because hey, they know the guy doing the translation.
Or, if no one said "hey, shitty translation chapter is out here" and just instead went "Hey, the AP forum guys translation out" on Monday, would that really shake the world so crazily?
The ONLY reasons to not keep showing that respect, is
-"I want to be read first!" (which shouldn't matter if you were letting the official hit first before, or want quality over speed)
-To get those competitive early page views and make money off your scanlation.(And I know its a lost battle now. I'm upset it happened in the first place.)
I mean, one of our guys is doing the One-Piece translation and has been for years, yet AP still supports the scans. It's hard to see your side, when what this site is dedicated to doesn't even respect Stephen and the official release.
At least Fallen Angels solicits the official release in their scanlation. That's more than anyone else does for any series.

ace managed to got in contact with luffy only beause he was on the same route following teach..it's not like he set sail and abandoned everything he was doing as a pirate just to get to luffy
Sure once they were spread on the grand line, but they were both on Goa for another 3 years after his death. Pretty easy to find them then. Plenty of time to write a letter.
And then, Ace, of course, became a famous pirate on Whitebeard's ship, which would have made him pretty easy to find.
I'm just saying, if my family thought I was dead, I would do everything in my power to let them know that I wasn't. Based on what we know about Sabo, he would have too.

Well, medical amnesia, not someone's power, I guess. But considering one of the major themes of this arc is those who are forgotten, the Sabo thing works extra well.
i was ok with him just being too far away to arrive on time..
the grand line is huge,much bigger than most readers realize..luffy was barely able to get to impel down on time and amazon lily is really close to it..if sabo was somewhere on the new world at that time it wouldn't have been a stretch just to say that whatever he would have done,he wouldn't have been able to reach marineford in time for the execution,at least until someone in onepiece gets the teleport fruit (even though the door-door was kinda like that)
that was all the explanation we needed.
What about the 10 years previous to this, then? Why did Sabo never let them know he was alive? That's a bigger issue than the war.
