Why would Robin cross her arms before she spawns limbs?
She doesn't always, kinda nullifying this section. As a child, she pointed to the location of where the arms would sprout, and sometimes she doesnt move her arms at all. I imagine she often does it for concentration, as she feels the strain of each arm she sprouts
Heard about this guy who was really into lucid dreaming. He thought he was dreaming when he wasn't. Ended jumping off a bridge cause he thought he could fly. I never tried again after I heard that.
Silly to let that scare you off them, they're awesome! Also sounds highly unlikely, as I can't imagine thinking that i'm in a lucid dream when i'm awake and sober - sounds practically impossible really.
Anyways, I'm really curious to see why Kidd, Apoo and Hawkins are teaming up! To take down a yonkou? (Unlikely I know)
I get the feeling we won't find out for quite a while
@Galaxy:
This was probably before Robin had any idea what Haki was. Anybody with armanent could beat him with no trouble.
Whaaaa? Armament haki doesnt make you instantly able to beat down logias - and imo Enel's is one of the strongest there is. He's also damn quick, has strong observation haki and isn't stupid. You'd have to be so damn sharp with your armament haki (and probably be very powerful with it) to not get crushed in the first 5 seconds. Even though he did probably rely on it a bit too much, he wasn't completely dependant on it either. When he figured out that it wasn't working, he changed his tactics and almost beat Luffy (Remember that Luffy was in a better situation than anybody with haki would be in for that battle, seeing as he was completely immune and didnt have to worry about protecting himself with it). After locking Luffy's hand in that gold ball, he could have just killed him with a trident or something, and may well have done if he didnt think tossing him off the ark was a crueler death sentence.
So for you to say that anybody haki'd up could beat him with no trouble is demonstratively a bit silly :)
@Fire Fist:
With the reveal this chapter (which wasn't that big of a shock, really), it's apparent that Doflamingo works for Kaidou. Kaidou obviously wants Moria dead for unknown reasons (probably involving their conflict 10 years ago), and considering the lack of respect Doflamingo has for the government, he's the only one I can see being able to give Doflamingo an order like that and expect him to follow it. So, with Vergo and Law working for Doflamingo, and Doflamingo working for Kaidou, it's apparent that Law wants to take down either Kaidou himself to free his obligation and ruin Doflamingo, or Big Mom, to eliminate Kaidou's competition.
Or, far more likely, the order was given by the WG. Doflamingo doesn't require respect for the WG to take pleasure in killing its enemies. Else, why would he have even shown up in the first place? Its obvious that he loves battle/fighting. Plus, there was a scene with Doflo explaining to some WG dude that Moria was able to escape, with the WG dude berating him about it.
Doflo doesn't really seem like the sort to be someones subordinate as well - he's built up a pretty impressive pirate empire by the looks of it (slave shops etc), with him at the top.
I wonder why no one said anything about Law bounty raise was due to him saving Luffy? I know it had to jump after that. How much? Who knows.
Either I missed something, or you're reading a different translation xD
Ok I can't hold it any longer, I have to rage a little. WTF is all this BS people are spouting about how Law can't be associating with "evil gas people that kidnap children?" Who the hell said he can't.We know absolutely nothing about the guy but people already seem to be experts about him, nothing we were shown about him was enough for us to know the character well enough to be saying that he is doing things out of character and its pissing me of when I see people making comments like that cause it all Bull Dung. We know nothing about Law, hell for all we know he might be more ruthless than all the characters we've met so far or he might be a saint, please lets just wait once we know about him before we starting talking about how his actions do or don't fit his character.
In fact pretty much the first thing about him that we learned was that he was infamous for his cruelty. I think it's safe to assume that he's not a very "nice" man.
both sanji and zoro can easily take on smoker if they have learned COA, if they do know COA then it all depends on how good smoker is in his fighting skills ( like speed agility reflex hit power etc ) he could seriously immobilize luffy or any other DF user if hes fast using his smoke (his fucking JUTE). But without the hitting power he couldn't even hold a candle against zoro or sanji.
And we can assume his fighting skills are pretty damn good. This statement is so very groundless. Do you think Smoker has been doing nothing these past 2 years?
The last time we saw him, he was being blocked by Hancock while so close to his goal of killing off Luffy - he would likely train to make sure that he can deal with haki users. There is no reason to think that he can't hit very hard, and many reasons to think that he can.
@Big:
I believe Blackbeard to be the weakest Emperor right now.
Seeing as we have no idea how much stronger BB has become in the last 2 years (probably a lot) and we have no information on the fighting ability of 2 of the yonkou, this belief rings awfully hollow :)
I think the phases of the moon drawn in the manga are supposed to represent how far along the story has gone?
