Have you tried mailing Funi about it? Funimation is based in Texas, so it's possible they may not be able to duplicate the problem, since the issue appears to be restricted to East Coast users.
Im having the problem still..and im in California.

Then disregard what I said. I honestly am not having the problem, so I'm not of much help -_-
It's an hour before the next one's supposed to be up and it's still not working. I might have to go to fansubs…
Well they do reupload the previous week's for the smaller watermark.
Last week episode, should be up on Hulu in a hour or two.
New episode is up! Wow I think it's actually playing for me. I still can't watch last week's though.
Episode 424 is now working as well.
Yes! It's working! I knew sacrificing that virgin goat would pay off.
Woah new episode is working today sweet!
Ohohoho~~ I just tried again and last week's does indeedy work for me now. 8D
See guys, Funi knows how to take care of their viewers.

It took a while, but they pulled through eventually.
Weeee just finished watching 425, great episode.
I'm liking how they're re-animating the old scenes instead of recycling them with the big bars on the side.
Magellan kicked ass and the comedy duo of M & H is still strong.
Great to see Mr. 3 again.
For the database people, the official FUNI translation of Magellan's DF is Venom Venom Fruit. I like it.
sighs Damn it, Impel Down doesn't come back until mid-December. I hope the 4 week special leading up to Strong World is worth it… of course it isn't FUNI is likely not going to sub it.
Hm, cool translation. And not till December? sigh Hope Funi will sub the Movie specials.
So, after the shit fest that was last week's episode, I just watched 425 perfectly with no ads. How does that work?
-Great episode. I liked the new animation on Mr.3's flash back. I'm really happy that they aren't half assing them… seeing old stuff in HD is cool.
-Magellen's voice is good.
-As soon as Sengoku popped up, I knew there was going to be a segway into the movie tie in episodes (No one's ever broken out of Impel Down, OWAIT).
So guys next week will start the movie 10 fillers, do you guys think FUNI will do anything special about these episodes? I mean what if the last one ends on a cliff hanger? Us usa fans will never know what happens unless they lisence it.
Just realized that the movie 10 stuff means we won't see Bon-chan until December.
There just going to be mentions for Movie 10, remember the movie only has some cannon to it. There is no way for all the strawhats to get back together for that time.
Did anyone else think the den den mushi with the gas mask was cute?
The good news about the filler is that Oda can release at least 3 new chapters in that time.
Since Strong World premieres December 12th I believe the regularly scheduled story will come back December 13th.
There's no chapter next week so Chapter 564 in two weeks, then 565 in three weeks, and 566 in four weeks. So overtaking the manga doesn't look like a problem these days.

Well these are actual episodes even though they are filler specials so they are likely to do it. I like the tie in with these specials, even if it means we won't see the rest of ID till December. I do hope that they are halfway decent.
In my eyes, movie 10 is cannon, although I don't think it's meant to take place until sometime after the current manga storyline.
Anyway, I was very pleased this week. Despite one or two internet issues, I had no problem at all with the episode. It was very good, even the filler bits with Luffy and Buggy. And Mr. 3's flashback was well done. Nice to see old stuff in HD quality artwork.
In any event, these movie specials will probably get the fans pumped up for this movie that us non Japan folks won't see for a long time after.
To me I consider Movie 10 cannon as well. I just going to take these events (episodes 426 - 429 & Movie 10) take place right after Thriller Bark, but during their travels before they hit the Red Line (at episode 285). Lets just wait for Movie 10 comes out before we all jump bridges to decide if its canon or not.
See guys!
The wait was worth it because now you can watch 40 minutes of new One Piece instead of just 20
But last week I got 0 minutes. Not worth it at all.
The good news about the filler is that Oda can release at least 3 new chapters in that time.
Given the recent release schedule, I'd consider us lucky if we got one chapter in that amount of time.

Given the constant breaks the manga's been taking, they have to add even more filler than usual in order to just maintain the schedule they had before.
And holy shit; is the reason the simulcast was buggered up last week because they were shoehorning in even more ads into the episode? This is the first time I've been forced to watch an ad in the middle of the episode.
Mine was ad free.
Awesome episode! Luffy and Buggy continue to be funny while fighting off the wild beasts. The scene with Magellan and Hannyabal made me laugh so hard; Magellan's voice matches him perfectly. I also loved the HD Little Garden flashback. So we have to wait for more Impel Down action. Oh well. BTW, what did Luffy mean by:
Luffy: Oh! You're San!
Mr.3: No! I'm Mister Three!
San is 3, so Luffy just called him 3, so Mr. 3 corrected him by going ''It's Mr. 3.'' Dunno why they didn't translate that.
San is Japanese for three.
EDIT: Screw you, Crossword. >:(
Oh, I knew it. Guess it was to add to the joke.
San is 3, so Luffy just called him 3, so Mr. 3 corrected him by going ''It's Mr. 3.'' Dunno why they didn't translate that.
Probably because he says "Mr. 3" entirely in English. I guess they wanted to get the point across that Luffy said the number in a different language.
Yep, it's a joke that's perfectly translatable into every living and dead language that ever existed or will ever exist… except English.

Latin translation please, thank you.

I personally find this acceptable. It's pretty hard to translate this joke into English… maybe they will think of something for the dub release.
Why use San when you can use "Three"?
Because he's already saying "3"…? :ermm:
'Suri' = English Three (what Mr. 3's name is suppose to be pronounced as).
'San' = Japanese Three (what Luffy uses, which is incorrect. I guess Luffy didn't pay much attention during school).
Why use San when you can use "Three"?
True. I personally could care less as I understand the meaning behind the joke either way.
I see that joke similar to some old movies where a rebellious kid would call out an elder by their last name and they'll respond in anger "That's MR. name to you!"
I don't have any examples off the top of my head but I see it as a respect issue.
Luffy: Oh hey you're three!
Mr. 3: That's MISTER 3 to you!
Something like that.
Yeah, I know what you're saying. Wish I could remember some.
@Kairouseki:
Yeah, I know what you're saying. Wish I could remember some.
"They call me MISTER Tibbs!"
Well, that's the only one I can think of.
"They call me MISTER pig!"
Pumba, The Lion King
I instantly got it right away. Who couldn't understand that. Unless thats not what was intended.
"That's MISTER Potato Head to you, ya back-stabbing murderer!"
Toy Story, represent!
You guys are thinking about it like English speakers.
The English equivalent would be something like:
"Hey, you're Three."
"No! It's Senor Tres!"
In English, a name like "Senor Tres" would have a much different feel than "Three" even if the meaning is essentially the same, since it has a unique feel in a different language it acts like a name instead of just a number. In Japanese, "Mr 3" has a much different feel than "San" even if the meaning is essentially the same, just like above. How would you translate the example dialogue to Spanish?
If/when Funi gets that far though, they'll probably just go with the
"hey it's three!"
"that's MISTER three!"
dialog to avoid confusion though.
It already happened in this last weekend's episode. They used "Hey it's san!" which is why it's being discussed so heavily.
Why is this a problem?… Why is Urouge the only one who gets it also?...
I also understood the joke.
I'm just trying to explain it in another context.
I guess people just want to find something to argue about.
Why is this a problem?
Who said it was a problem? I can surely recount one of my favorite "That's MISTER ____ to you!" moments if I darn well feel like it.
And frankly, I'm not too worried about how Funi translates little puns. I'm more concerned about continuity and the writing of actual dialogue (natural flow, lip flap, dialogue to cussing ratio, etc.)
Personally, I think a good way to render the joke would be something along the lines of the Buggy name jokes from the 52nd Episode:
Luffy: Oh! You're Mister Free!
Mr.3: No! I'm Mister Three!
Sounds like the kind of thing Luffy would say.
