So wait, Kumadori can control his entire body, hence his hair, while Chopper can't control his forms with a 2nd rumble ball. Also, heavy point can't break tekkai, and Kumadori can sadly break through guard point it seemsā¦and the chapter ends with shiganing to "death." Things don't looks good...

Franky fought with a small amount of cola (he wasn't completely out when he started fighting). Then he refilled and used 2.7 in this chapter. Including the couple of moves he did beforehand, he probably used his whole refill. And more, again considering that he used a small amount before getting more. Chopper also found Fukuro that one time. So I kinda think he ended up stopping short of Fukuro.

I liked the Franky part of this chapter, not so keen on the others. Maybe it's because I know only basic Japanese and I don't like Chopper. Eh.

SUPER~! Franky really is pretty freaking amazing. This chapter a good mixture of just about everything that makes up One Piece: Fighting, Comedy, Distressed Straw-Hats, etc. I really can't wait for the full translation, so I can find out what Chopper and Kumadori are truely saying (there is alot of text there!).
And the rumble ball situation, along with the the handcuff situation, are just increasing the dire need for the Straw-Hats to have a successful win over CP9 to prove their true strength to the world.

Heh, the Strawhats picked up one kickass shipwright. I haven't met a character in an anime that I loved to death since Brightman.exe from Rockman.exe. Is it me, or did look like Kumadori just set his staff on fire when he "stabbed" Chopper on page 17?
Chopper's fight has me stoked now. I CANNOT wait to see how this fight will turn out. So far it looks like it's very one-sided.
And I STILL want a SogeKatana!

Were you hoping someone to come save Zoro when he had no chance at all fighting Mr. 1? Surely Chopper's fight this time will be similar to that one. He has no chance at all at first and gets mauled severely and brutally, but he wins in the end anyway.
And plus, Paulie isn't being focused on anymore.

Many people have theorized that Chopper will develop a new point. What if the unstableness of the 2nd rumble ball casues that new point to be an almagam of all of his other points? Sort of like he's in all of his points at once.

You said it man. First of all I don't think chopper is out by a long shot chopper's been beaten by Gedatsu in skypiea and he got up and fought his way out (and it was only until he . Then he took a direct hit from ohm's (skypiea again) iron test (which was 0% survival rate) without guarding himself, I actually thought he was dead. So a couple of punches and shigun from kumadori's coming techniques is going to be a challenge but chopper is stronger than he realises (imo).
Also I have noticed a lot of change in chopper since skypiea he's still as funny as ever but he's slowly becoming braver which is really sweet. 'Because I always run away everyone always has to protect meā¦that's why no one depends on me, I will start my pirate life here and know' (one of my favourtie chopper lines) -
I'm kinda disappointed in Zoro's solution. I hope he gets kicked in the mouth and realizes how absurd his idea is.

So, it seems "his conciousness flows through his body?" Perhaps that includes directing energy towards digestion, or channeling it as fire...Or perhaps he's eaten a DF without knowing it! Seeing how he's so goofy, and walks around with at least one eye closed all the time, it wouldn't surprise me

to get used to weilding a sword XD. This might be a new tag team name now. After UsoCho, its UsoZo. Or should it be Sogero Combo :unsure: .Now Kumadori is my fave chracter of CP9.

lol sweet thanks for the chapter BF. good thing franky beat furiko after using almost all his cola. i think we still have a lot to see from chopper and kumadori, its awesome that chopper used a second one! he's gonna have to figure out something new and strong to beat im, as most of you said, this is more than likely a chopper development point. i'm sure nami and sanji will develope too, and usopp of course.

How can you be disappointed by Zoro's solution? It's one of these things he'll come up with when the situation seems desperate, even if it's retarded and useless at least it's better than just running away or getting killed without putting a fight.
And it's quite obvious it's just a plot device to show us how him and Sogeking are supposed to survive until Chopper brings the key, same with Kaku and Jyabura fighting each others for petty reasons.

Fukuro just got owned, heh heh. Bah, Chopper's really screwed right now. Getting beat up and stabbed multiple times by Kumadori and all, he's gonna need to pull some awesome never-before-seen stunt or attack or something.

Great Chapter to end my long long week. I think Fukuro is done, and probably has the #2 key. Franky will bring it to zoro/sogeking.
Like everyone else, I think chopper is not done and may have to bring out something new that he didnt before.
Maybe he created some new points that he have been working on secretly after the skypiea arc.
It can be like the "Perfect Point!" A combination of all of his other points.Well can't wait til the translation comes out. Hope we get to see how Sanji and Nami is doing in the next chapter.

Really? I find ZoroĀ“s solution the highlight of the chapter actually. Using Sogeking as an elongation of the swords handle (or whatever it is called) is kinda a neat idea IMO. At least that weight lifting now finally has some practic use in a swordfight.

Dang I didn't notice the first read though how powerful that coup de vent was. I mean Fukuro a good 3-4 feet in the ground.
Sogeblade rocks, but I want to see more kabuto action.
Man Kumadori went from a funny, if kind of useless oppoent to quite a powerhouse. I doubt anyone expected an hair shingan. Unless brain form finds quite an weakness or comes up with a new point, I'm not sure how he win. Unless he starts to use medicine as a weapon.
