just because the title isn't the real title, doesn't mean you have to shoot it down..... the mods will eventually change it,when the real title is being translated....

As for some people here who thinks mentioning a name in the storyline means the character is COMPULSORY to appear, must be dreaming they are Oda or they own Oda or they are Oda's master.

This chapter is showing Luffy and Croc working together. For the AMC's, they are already jumping for joy over this. Yet, some are still not satisfied at all. Unlike in Bleach and Naruto, One Piece is pulling away strongly. Only some of the fans and naysayers are saying it's going down hill, why? because their favourite non-main cast characters still haven't appear yet.
I wonder who is the main characters in One Piece? Luffy and gang? or the other characters?

Not that I'm giving fire to naysayers though you can't blame them too much even the main cast are MIA. It's understandable how watching luffy run around with others and not just any others but past criminals is slightly an odd sight. Though for me I've decided to just see where it goes and not bother with complaining too much anymore since it won't change much if anything.

Well i'm glad mr1 has been released, and we know what buggy and mr3 have been up to. Don't see why Croc didn't blow holes in the roof of each floor. Anyway seemingly nice chapter it's everyone on a mission to escape now.

I wonder is Oda will have one Sh not wanting to rejoin.

I actually agree with you. Thats why I was able to predict Luffy would lose to Magellan. I had been saying for weeks before it happened that Luffy would get pwned Crocodile in the desert style because of his behavior. This whole arc has kinda been an extension of this where everyone around him is telling him what he is doing is a bad idea, and he just doesn't get it. I think we are going to see a reborn Luffy from this where he will think with a bit more caution…. who am I kidding that seems to be ingrained into his character >_> Still I think that is another subtle plot narrative. These caution signs have been going wild since Thriller Bark and every new narrative from there keeps having Luffy jumping into the fray without a care in the world for the consequence. More so than normal even for him.

yeah well said. I have been expecting his ''turning point'' for a long while now. I mean I remember choppers oath of ''never running and being scared'' etc and being strong then oda kind of seemed to have forgotten about him in a way. Anyway like I said at least it's still fun amidst it all.

Its always been that way though. Pacing of an Arc. (no matter how small or large it is)

Luffy thrusts himself into a struggle without thinking –> does something really rediculous and over the top --> gets himself in trouble because of doing this --> Gets help from allies to get him out of the situation --> comes out the hero by taking out main conflict after this help because his allies can't beat the final arc villian. Its been that way since the start and was even heavily emphasized back at Arlong Park. He needs his friends to succeed, and they need him to push forward when large obstacles come about. It deviates from this pattern in some arcs but for the most part thats always how it works out.

Yeah it doesn't seem quite so bad however when the crew are by his side since at least you can cushion it with them stepping in. Having them absent for this long and with Luffy absent-mindedly just throwing himself into a situation like this with no planning or forward thinking just doesn't seem right. Especially when you think about the stage in the manga that we are at. I mean he is suppose to want to be the next pirate king, and whist he doesn't mis-treat his crew he might aswell do since from the start to now he doesn't seem to have changed in terms of putting himself and others in unnecessary danger. Yes the premise of danger is exciting but it's even more exciting when you know that they can all cover each others back to a reasonable extent. Or if left alone they can cover their own back in the given instance which he clearly can't here. Not that i'm complaining though since it has been kind of fun regardless. I just wish he didn't seem so utterly helpless all the time.

It was so obvious Luffy becoming a girl, I guess it's bon-chan next <_< . I guess it does give the perfect disguise. Saying that though Luffy just seems to be getting by on the advantages of other peoples powers than his own.

I was scared this would happen, the only way to go is down when you introduce so much stuff happening. I'm sorry if people are going to be offended but to me this is very unlike Oda. Everything he does in the manga usually has a purpose, but… this is just odd. Kuma has been their deux ex too many times now. If he wanted to do a training arc there were better ways I feel. Though people will love it for the fan service alone so whatever.
