Oh that's an interesting topic. Curious to see how they'll handle it.
South Park

Tonight's episode was a thing of beauty. Close, but not better than Margaritaville in terms of government satire.
! Love the new opening. The over-the-topness of it has to be a parody of the way the Simpsons re-did their opening, right?
! And poor Santa. So that's where he's been the pass few seasons. -
The new episode was pretty great in my opinion. I thought the new opening was pretty cool
-
Shoot. I didn't know it was premiering tonight. Guess I'll have to watch it tomorrow online.
-
here's trailer for the new South Park game. it's coming out in december!
Dragonborn X D direct scyrim reference ?
-
! Sweet new opening, is it a regular thing now?
! Episode had some amusing moments (lol at Alec Baldwin's disturbing and random thoughts), but I kinda felt the "Cartman goes to the NSA" plotline could've had more oomph….or maybe just more time as him as an NSA member. But the satire was great nonetheless.
! Only Butters could start a movement of confessing to the DMV. Haha. -
Great episode.
! I thought the entire Cartman booing Wendy joke was funny, and the ending of the episode was great.
-
Love how people are saying that this week's episode was the worst ever yet if they would have seen World War Z they would have completely gotten the message of the episode as well as the stupidity of the Stand Your Ground law.
I thought this was one of South Park's best episodes
-
I also enjoyed this week episode of South Park. In my opinion its one of the best episodes in a long time.

The problem is it should work on two levels. As its own story and satire… and as a send up spoof of something.
When you HAVE to have seen the source material for a parody to work... then it isn't working.
-
I haven't watched south park in a while, what's this about a new opening?
goes to youtube…I don't like it.
I'm too used to the fast clip montages, so now the intro seems slowed down, bland and boring.Sure, the animation technique was cool and it showed how far they've come with their craft... but i feel like the winning formula (IMO) was tampered with.
I really hope this doesn't last more than a season and they switch it back next time.I mean, when i watch this style of intro:
!
!I get excited. Pumped up.
Like "yeah, this is fucking south park! Bring it the fuck on!"When i watch the new one, i stare blankly.
Where's the energy and in-your-face swagger i've come to expect? -

You don't really have to see the movie to understand it. It makes the episode a hell of a lot funnier but the last five minutes should make the point of the episode.
Plus
! The scene where Zimmerman shot Cartman (in blackface) and they realize Cartman is white, which leads to Zimmerman being executed was made hilarious by the fact that Cartman did the same thing to Token and got off was hilarious in pointing out the racial bias the Stand Your Ground law has in some people's eyes.
! As for the WWZ references, Cartman using the notion of black riots as a disease that needed a cure just goes to show that no matter how racist Cartman is, he can always make it worse and bring out the worst in people who don't know him (the people on the plane) -
This was their best showing so far. I think watching cartman think of himself as Brad Pitt and flying around crashing planes and inciting panic works whether you've seen WWZ or not. And you shouldn't it's a stupid movie.
-
I dunno, I was more amused by Cartman starting this mass panic by being vague, the "Stand Your Ground" thing, and Zimmerman even saying the exact things as dream Cartman!
But him as Brad Pitt just seemed…..superflurous to me. Although him crashing planes more than once made me think "oh heh, only Cartman!"
-
I always like to see how Cartman feels about himself. He's constantly doing the worst thing imaginable with absolutely no pause or regrets. Any time see we get to see inside his head is a treat for me so this time was no exception. Especially since it was Brad Pitt in that awful movie.
-
No new episode of South Park tonight.
-
I liked this weeks as well.
-
! Just realized the school web system not working at all is a jab at the Obamacare website glitches. Ha!
-
Nightpain made this episode.
-
Was that join us thing the fat goth kid said something from a horror movie?
Cause i kind of recognize it
-
Great episode this week. I hope there will be a part 2, next week since the episode ended on a cliffhanger.
! The new Elmo toy thing is one of the most funniest moments ever. The Game of Thrones references was great as well.
-
The scene with Kaz Hirai was golden.
-
Loved this episode. I'm really excited for part 2. Hopefully it delivers.
-
It ended on a cliffhanger?! Stupid DVR cut it off….
[hide]"You're really obsessed with weiners, aren't you Butters?"[/hide]
-
Decent enough episode. Would probably have gotten more out of it if i had seen game of thrones
-

All you really need to know is its a show that has a lot of death, a couple warring sides, and a lot of (s)exposition.
And there's a princess with dragons.
-
And lots of gay dongs apparently
-
Dang thats another good cliffhanger.
! The game of thrones jokes are getting more funny. And the Princess Kenny thing was really funny. I hope there will be a part 3.
-
Warnign to those who have not read the Game of Thrones books, there is a rather major spoiler in the new episode. Watch with caution.
-
This trilogy (or maybe even four parter, if they use all two remaining episodes for it) even beats out the Coon one so far. This was just great and I don't even watch Game of Thrones.
It's nice to see them using such a big amount of characters, from Scott Malkinson over Bill Gates to the news reporter. Really looking forward to seeing all these parties in a big, hilarious finale.
I think I liked the guy owning the garden the most though. -
And lots of gay dongs apparently
the exact opposite. there were three flaccid dongs last season, only one of which was gay.
I think Matt and Trey just went with an easy penis joke to appease their demographic. saying wiener a lot is still funny to a lot of people.
-
Oh well i'm not above a good ol'fashion dick joke
Enjoyed Bill Gates in this ep. Guess this is his first apperance since he was shot in the movie?
-

The exaggeration is what makes it funny.

! You should delete this, the real spoiler is burried in dick jokes.
-
I wonder if the 3rd part will end with a scene echoing the end of the 3rd season, just as the first two parts aped the end of seasons 1 and 2 with Princess Kenny and the Shopper's scream respectively.
-

! I thought about that, but the thing is, my wife realized it was a spoiler while watching and she's never read the books. Mainly because it's the only thing Martin says that's not a dick joke and its just thrown out there so casually. As such I figured it would be better to warn people than not.
-
That was a great finale for the South Park 3 parter.
! Princess Kenny stuff was getting more funny and the Red Robin Wedding stuff was great. I did also like the live action stuff from Black Friday made me laugh very hard.
-
! Okay, Bill Gates is one hardcore motherfucker. The way he was wailing on the Sony head….awesome if not jaw-dropping. I'll admit I wish watched/read Game of Thrones so I could "get" some of these jokes, but Martin (and Butters) constantly talking about weiners still was funny to me.
! Oh yeah, can Kenny get a spin-off anime? -
Yeah, as a retail worker I feel Black Friday deserves a three partner. I love how the last episode tied everything together.
-
My favorite joke is the one about walking in the garden of betrayal
-
Yes the garden of betrayal was the best joke in all three episodes
-
I have still not seen any eps of south park i guess i will give it a try.
-
Was I the only one who noticed Misato in Princess Butters Anime parts? Do Trey and Matt watch Evangelion, possibly?
-

You're not the only one who noticed. Also, the way Cartman was drawn in those scenes looked like Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
-
"Bitch how you not a hobbit again?!!?"
-
The new episode was pretty great.
! I thought the ending with Wendy was pretty sad. This is another moment in South Park that made me tear up.
-
I thought that was one of the best south park episodes ever.
-
! Man. I mean I thought Kanye constantly calling Kim "bitch how are you not a hobbit???…..oh! oh, gotcha!" was funny, as well as the guys' obvious shallowness, but the episode really turned into a sad direction with Kanye tearfully telling a story to Wendy.
! Then Wendy tearing up as she photoshopped herself...
! damn, South Park. Well played, well played -
Great episode to start the new season.
! I really thought the entire part about Goodell being a robot was really funny.
-
The season premiere episode was kind of "meh" to me, but maybe it's one of those episodes that's better after a second viewing.
