Saw it with some friends, one who likes One Piece and one who had watched it way back when 4kids aired it on Cartoon Network. The latter really liked it, and got a lot of laughs out of it. (He was also flabbergasted by all the same-body women lol)
The song gets me pumped as shit, I wanna jump out my window and run around like an asshole. Visuals are… okay. The fanservice is annoying, as always, but I liked the watergun fight in general. Also liked the arc preview stuff- not too spoilery, but hinting at stuff.
I really miss endings though, hahaha. Remember when there were specific character endings? I actually think Robin, Chopper, and Vivi were the only people to get them (Robin actually got 2!)

so I was thinking a bit about that weird jello thing and laughing about it, when I realized something

Capone appears to being spying on Pudding. Maybe on orders from Big Mom, to make sure she’s safe, or for other reasons. idk how he’s doing this with little jello man, but the similarities CAN’T be a coincidece
[h=2]EDIT:[/h]after looking at the faces of some of the things in Big Mom’s garden, i noticed that a lot of them actually have the same face. STILL, jello has the hat and chopper drawing attention to it, so I stand by my theory
Oddly enough, I'm currently reading a fanfic involving the crew going to a Casino Island that has a "big secret" behind it. Huh.
Love the concept of it, though, and I'm glad that I'm going to see it in something official! I've always wanted a One Piece arc to involve a big city with bright lights. I hope the animation's good, I can't wait to see the layouts! (and funi's dub, of course)

Even at 800+ chapters, the world-building never stops.
Let's quickly review the different plot threads we have in Zou:
-the samurais potentially ruining the relationship between the Straw Hats and Minks
-Sanji leaving the crew and being married into Big Mom's family
-Luffy possibly leaving with Pekoms to rescue him
-Germa 66, a new evil organization that may be on level with a yonkou crew and Sanji's family being the head of it
-Kaidou most likely coming after the Straw Hats
-Jack may or may not still be alive
-the mystery of Raizou
-the reason of the split between Nekomushi & Inuarashiand that's just in Zou alone. Outside of Zou we have:
- the overall story of Momosuke that has so far spanned 3 arcs
- The Blackbeard Pirates vs the Revolutionaries
- Weevile and Miss Bakin's hunt for the remaining Whitebeard pirates
- and the Reverie!
Don't forget the eventual Elbaf Arc.

Anyways, people were debating as to why Sanji always wanted a big bounty if he didn't want to be found by the Vinsmokes. I'll put out yhe theory that maybe he faked his death as a child? So he'd assumed that he would still think he's dead. Thinking it over now, I'm realizing that it actuality doesn't make that much sense, but 
Onto the samurai and the minks, I don't really think that there's going to that big of a conflict. Maybe a misunderstanding for a few chapters, but nothing too big. And I don't think Luffy's going to go rescue Sanji by himself. The rest of the crew's probably gonna come along. Remember, when Vivi joined up with them, they didn't go straight to Alabasta, but stopped at Little Garden and Drum. I think something similar to that might happen. Perhaps Pekoms, Carrot, or Wanda will tag along, or some combination of the three? And the Heart Pirates will probably tag along, too. Like people have been saying, Kaidou needs to be taken care of before they move on to Big Mom. Or maybe that Kaidou vs. Big Mom thing will happen?
