I could see it going either way for ending on 1035 or 1036. I'd use "The Pivotal Clash" or "Danger Beyond Imagination" for the title. So many chapter titles in this volume are specific to either Zoro's or Sanji's fight, so you can imagine the pockets of extreme toxicity that would break out if Oda chooses to favour one over the other.

I just think it's a neat visual. Plus, it hasn't been done yet, which is becoming more and more of an obstacle. Wano's gone on so much longer than any other arc, basically every way you'd want to combine the major characters has been done already.
Strawhats pose as a team? Volume 91. Monster trio as the centrepiece? Volume 100. Supernova trio in focus? Volume 97. Kaido and Big Mom looming large in the background? Volumes 99 and 101 individually, or 94 for both of them. Dragon bodies snaking through the background? Volume 92 and almost 98. Finding original arrangements and groupings is getting pretty challenging.

I've been lurking the One Piece subreddit while the forum was done and I'm telling you it's only going to take one person needling the crowd about the volume being called "Zoro VS King" even though it focused on both of their fight to get them all going. People take their Sanjis and their Zoros very seriously in some parts of the fanbase.

I think you got it right that its time for a cover with Luffy, the SH's and/or co, where they have bloody faces and all, that is one thing that I was thinking it would be logical for 102.
Momo's definitely been lacking a good and outstanding portayal, and if King is going to show up in any cover at all, this would be it.
Personally, I have assumed already that we're not having usual heroes vs villains covers, and 99/100/101 is pretty much it, and is not like Daz Bones, Ohms, Kaku, Ryuma or Pica had extra appearances outside of said volumes, so I'm honestly not expecting King to show up at all.

I could probably have replaced Kid and Law with King and Queen in piece if I'd seen the latest chapters before I drew it. Volume 103 is shaping up to be big for the non-Luffy supernova captains, and might be a better place to spotlight them.
Whoever ends up on the actual cover, I also definitely agree that the usual villains/heroes thing is off the table. We even got an all-Beasts Pirates colour spread to make up for it.

I hope to see Ifrit Jambe in color. In BW it doesn't look that much different.

I think King and Jack finally make the cover. All 3 of Kaido's top guys take the usual final attack in this volume when it most likely includes 1035. Getting all 3 on the cover makes a lot of sense. Not only because King and Jack have never made a cover, but because their downfall was built up as the highlights of this batch of chapters. Plus there might not be another chance to get Jack on a cover.

Sadly to reddit and 4chan (believe me, I know). Reddit is a good place to go if you can filter childish comments and tasteless ideas, but they have somewhat active community with neat arts and some fun yet foul little games. 4chan is never decent besides storytimes and the day the scans come out, there's a taste of how a younger crowd sees the story. the trolls are never funny, sameposting is lame, and contrarians are trapped in 2012 humour.
did the discord went off as well? I trully should learn how to ride this horse.

Yeah I basically lurked reddit most of the time as well. They're a pretty reactionary community, but somehow far from the worst. Every time I stick my head into the 4chan or Worstgen threads I remember why I don't do that too often. Worstgen's spoiler threads reaching hundreds of pages is completely absurd to me - I've got no idea how anyone keeps up with the conversation or stays on top of who said what in that kind of environment.

I spent a decent time on discord. It's a much more positive crowd compare to my nitpicking ways and a lot more receptive to some tropes or hype moment I wouldn't normally be open to. And they have the most fascinating theories which I don't think will happen but come from deep love. It dulled my edges but it was fun.

The discord is never dead. People still discuss on it even now even if it is less used.

That certainly is one way you could group them. Luffy would probably object to being called anything like that though, he's just a guy helping his friends.

This feels like an easy cover to predict (so watch me be wrong). But Luffy vs Kaidou in the middle and then Zoro vs King on Luffy's right and Sanji vs Queen on Luffy's left. Have the three Straw Hats in the front and then three Beast Pirates behind. You can really get the idea of the wings of the pirate King with this kind of composition (extra bonus if Zoro and Sanji look like they are defending Luffy by blocking King and Queens attacks.

I wouldn't get too excited until the week after at the earliest. Roughly two weeks out from release seems to be the most normal for cover reveals, but anything could happen.

The blue fire is cool, as are Zoro's green flames. Overall cover is just okay. My least fav Wano cover so far, which has had mostly great covers.

Aah it is M3 dedicated, that's beatiful, and as expected Momo finally has a decent appearance in the overall bunch of volumes of the longest arc.
And once again, Momo and Yamato are avoided to be put together, even tho well, Yamato's just absent, but I guess it makes sense since this volume is not as centered on her as the previous ones.
I like it, another one!

Since this volume has Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, 103 will probably be Luffy with Law and Kid, and 104 will hopefully have Luffy with Yamato and Marco.

Nice looking cover. Not exactly how I laid it out in the previous page but pretty much the same vibe I was going for, the wings of the Pirate King and their opponents for this volume. Expecting something similar in 103 but with Law, Kid and Big Mom instead.

A little uninspired cover. I get Oda intended to do the whole Twin Dragons painting at start, but lost the concept in the middle and Kaidou hidden by the title is meh-ish. Even other characters' position seems a bit randomly off. Btw, nice to see King and Ifrit Sanji on the cover.

That's a slick cover! King and Queen's poses don't feel like they have a whole lot of synergy with each other, but Luffy, Zoro and Sanji with Momo's body snaking through the background is so cool. I can't wait to see the final colours with the proper logo and cropping. It's gonna look great.
Oda doesn't seem to consider King's face and skin a particularly big spoiler for volume readers. Funny how his skin tone with these early colours just looks like the normal one most humans have, while everyone else looks deathly pale by comparison.
I love the electric blue on Sanji's final attack. Interesting to see the smoke coming off Zoro's swords is green though - the digital colour manga made it purple in volume 95. Wonder if they'll change it when they catch up to this one in a couple of years.

Nah, they just refer to the green light as blue. They have a word for green and use it for everything that is green but not for the traffic lights. In case you wonder, the traffic lights are actually green and not blue. And the discussions you have with some people when they go "we call it blue because it's blue" is hilarious. XD
Fun thing is, I cannot even talk badly about the Japanese because of how they use blue in an actual color related context. My mother tongue is far worse with that color.[/offtopic]

As Captain M already said it, we already had every possible line up in previous covers, so yeah, I wouldnt be surprised if we get anoother worst gen trio cover, this one looks a lot like cover 100 with the M3 leading it tho.
Whatever is happening to Luffy might show up in cover 103 as well, so it'll be neat to have the Worst Gens all showcasing their awakenings and dedicate a farewell note to BM in it.
And since Kaido's career is likely ending in vol 104, it would be fitting if that's dedicated to the Wano-kunians glorious expressions of victory.

Yeah, I heard that ancient greek didn't have a word for blue if I'm not mistaken which lead to misconceptions that the sky wasn't blue back then.
Speaking of colors, it took me a while to realize that that's actually a pink dragon on the cover. I thought it was just an unfinished blue one. Didn't even see that there's Kaido dragon above Momo dragon.
Also I surely hope they make King's skin color darker in the final version. I mean wasn't dark skin part of what Lunarians look like?

As far as I'm concerned all bets are off for volume 103 at the minute. Big Mom's fall? Luffy's fall? CP0? Whatever the Joyboy thing turns out to be in the next two chapters? So much to work with and the volume's not even finished yet.

Sanji and Zoro with their power-ups matching their colors look cool but the cover looks a bit weird.
It almost looks like Queen and King are allies and not Sanji and Zoro's opponents :)
