@Sano said in Dragonball Discussion Kai: Broly but this time it's not Broly:
Man, this hurts hard. I got first got into Dragon Ball in the fall of 98 thanks to the Cartoon Network airing of Z. I still remember during the Summer of 99 beginning the DBZ vhs tapes as the Funimation took over the dub to see the ending of the Ginyu fights. Then throughout the next couple years seeing the entire original adventures of Goku and friends from all the funny and heartwarming moments to the serious moments.
Big same.
20+ years later, I still have on my computer all the random music, videos(, images and dopey fangames I could scrounge up from the early internet at the time. Hell, I've even got a link to Greg's old "Ultimate DBZ Information Site" still kicking around in my browser bookmarks.
Those times are definitely long in the past, but it doesn't feel like it's so long that the creator of it all should be dying this soon.
Nothing makes you feel old quite like the world you grew up in crumbling to dust.
