Depends if the story demands it. If there's drama that can be derived from placing it in another body, yes. But since Kuma's body is his own body, unless there's drama that calls for it, I don't know whether it's necessary or not.
Either way, we know that somehow, Kuma's memories/personality are safe.
Whether they're locked safely away in his body, or in another, we know that VP can isolate such things so it doesn't really matter how he uses them.
