Yeah, like Kyo and Iori in KOF, can:t picture Iori using red fire.
In the manhwha "KoF Zillion" (not canon but really well done) Iori was able to use red flames for a while, that wasn't that bad even though blue flames are his signature. Happy to see that someone else knows KoF.
I think everyone's problem with Sabo is that he's acting as the cool guy who saves the day. When he'll interact with Luffy he'll treat him as when they were child.

I still don't get why theirs such disdain for Sabo still. I get he appeared out of no where, and pretty much didn't tell luffy he was alive, and the Ace situation. But he obviously has regrets, and answers to why he didn't help save Ace. Maybe he should've been introduced another arc…

people have problems with everything. i'm not pushing pure oda worship and that you can not criticize OP, no matter what (although from my posts i understood if someone thought that), but as popularity continues to grow, arcs rise higher and higher in anticipation and expectation, and impatience wears thinner, people just get cranky and fire off about anything and then (especially if they are vocal forum types) sit in their poopy opinion pants forever about it.
i personally didn't really care for franky, or brook, and it took me a long time to warm up to them. just give it enough time and pick your battles.

Lol you guys are blowing this out of proportion. I don't hate Sabo, in fact if I were to have a favorite character in One piece it will be between Coby and Sabo(note: I don't have any fav character). I just don't like Sabo getting Mera mera, I thought he will have his own unique fruit that suits him and also the stuff that blue and red color going together is weird to me.
In TV shows anytime you see blue color or red color in same place is usually two opposing teams against each other, samething with movies and most every day things, blue and red is like this eternal enemy rival thing(is like water and fire…they cancel each other out).
Let's hope I get used to it and again this a personal problem and not something I expect everyone to understand.

I don't like Sabo because he's such a sue. There have been a few glimpses into his character that made him a little bit more likeable, but they haven't been enough. He'll probably get more exposition in the future that will change that but until then, to me he's just annoying.

Which suddenly makes me realize the CD have no such thing as fashion in their world. They all dress the same and find it normal. Maybe they are beyond human futilities after all(aside for sex cause it's fun and useful at the same time).

Yeah Homing fails with his naivete. I wonder if his wife played any part in his decision to leave Mariejois. She seems kinda meek, like she's not a CD by birth. Maybe she just married one and lived on an island before. So maybe she filled Homing's head with idealistic stories about the "human world".

Whatever the case, his decision to allow Doffy to run around in Celestial Dragon robes without a thought for the consequences is just plain stupid.
He really didn't handle this transition well at all.
