Wow! I got chills! I almost teared up! Then I laughed!
Usopp is the man! What we saw was undoubtedly his first step in awaking Haki. Seeing the technicality behind Usopp's shooting at such a long distance was a very good touch as well. This is the first time we've gotten something so detailed regarding his aim right? It's nice to know he's not just firing a sling shot but doing complex equations in his mind all the while.
The visual behind the Color of Observation was great as well. Even after these last few years we are still learning how it's perceived by the characters themselves.
If you hated the way Usopp defeated Sugar before and are still not satisfied with this you are a villain and a knave.

Law's power doesn't really lend itself to good fights though. Sure, it could be a good fight, but Trebol vs someone else would probably be better.

I think you're both forgetting Law v Smoker, which showed Law can handle a Logia, and that he can have a good fight.

Awesome chapter. It had been at least a dozen since I last felt so thrilled :)
However, the translation on page 7 (the dialog leading to Law removing the bullets) feels a bit cryptic. He mentions a lock and him carrying Luffy ? This doesn't make much sense. Hopefully the next release will shed light on the whole dialog. -
That was a brilliant chapter for usopp. And now he has OoC Haki. I reckon Robin has to be the next one. I hope next week is the last of the set-up and then we can get to see the actual fights of the strawhats starting with franky.

It feels surprisingly fresh to see a "weaker" character get Haki. Sanji, Zoro and Luffy was kind of expected, but Usopp!!! I'm so happy for him! I hope Robin can get some powers of her own. Its also nice to see that there is still room for improvement, even after the time skip. -

It was all to redeem Usopp that he can, in fact, use his skill to renew our faith.See, now this is more like my kind of chapter.
Plus, it is the most impressive example of Usopp's skills as sniper thus far.
Why we couldn't START with that is anyones guess, but hey, at this point I will take what I can.

Why is Jinbe traveling inside a bubble-ship ? Is it usual for fishmen to travel that way ? -

Was Usopp kind of like supremely badass in this, or it was all my really low expectations? This was the most in-depth sniping scene in the entire manga, and I really, really liked it, even if the chapter went by in a breeze and the translation was kinda super crappy.
And I guess Usopp awakened CoO, right?
