Kangaroo: Like I care how this turns out; I'm still the national symbol.
Salt water crocodile: Kuhahahahaha.
Wombat: Yeah, they're square. Wanna fight about it?
Echidna: You probably know me from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Platypus: You probably know me from a series that's still socially relevant!
Quoll: You don't even know what I am, do you?
Bilby: I'm like the Easter Bunny. Apparently.
Emu: Remember the Emu War? Good times. Goooooood times.
Dingo: I hate Elaine.
Emergency Filler Match - Cuddliest Australian Animal

I'd snuggle that crocodile
-
Hahaha once again with the koala joke
-
-
Poor Prismeru, he'll be bummed.
Also NOW I get the Elaine line. slaps forehead
-
Wombat for da win
-
Emu needs more love guys.
-
@Devil:
Emu needs more love guys.
Indeed.
-
Well, since goat wasn't an option, I voted for the next best thing. Sometimes called "the goat of the sea," the salt water crocodile gets my support.
-
Edit:
I was searching for cute Dingo pics but all I get is Dingos eating babies? What the hell?
!
-
The Kangaroo on the picture looks chill as hell so im voting for it.
-
Go Perry!!

The people I've known who actually live in Australia have told me the exact opposite. Kangaroos are absolute terrors in a country full of terrifying wildlife. That they're very… rude I guess is the way to put it.

They couldn't add goats because it would have been an auto-win due to goat pwns everyone.
[hide][/hide]… though if they had pigeon then we would have an epic battle. Add a few other select animals and it could be an AP mascot filler match

I tried to pick some of the less dangerous creatures; there's only one venomous animal on there after all.

Which one? :wassat:
-
Oted Platypus and it just so hapoens to be winning..Australia…
-
-
The humble platypus.
That's new to me. I want to change my vote, I don't cuddle with a venomous animal.
-
The Kangaroo, the ultimate form of protection, transportation, and affection in one fuzzy package.
-
I was scared when I saw the title. I was expecting Australian Spiders (you know big enough to have a life bar like in video game) or Scorpions.
-
That's new to me. I want to change my vote, I don't cuddle with a venomous animal.
It's not deadly from what I understand; it's more of a temporary "Oh, God, my life is a universe of pain" scenario.
-

That's already bad enough for me. lol
-
Pris is going to hurt all of these adorable animals whenever he gets back…
And I never knew what a Quoll was, but it's adorable so I voted for it! Dingos are my second though.
-

Then you'll love the Irukandji Jellyfish.
Small enough to rest on your thumbnail, and their stings are rarely ever fatal.
But those unfortunate enough to have been stung with the Irukandji's venom, their symptoms manifest as severe hypertension, spectacular pain, anxiety, shock, and I shit you not, "an overwhelming sensation of impending doom, and losing the will to live."
For 20 hours. And there is no known cure or anti-venom available.
Visit Australia soon!
-
@Rogues':
severe hypertension and high blood pressure
Those two things are synonymous.
-
As an Australian. I've ridden every one of these animals to school… Except an Echidna…. That would just be silly.
But i'll go with the Plat... A mammal that can lay eggs? That's mad
-

Oh cute little thing.
-
Those two things are synonymous.
Nahhh, they're different. But the latter is redundant because you have to go through it to get to the former.

Well I'm no doctor but I've never seen them not used interchangeably, and now that I went and looked it up, all I can find is that they are literally the same thing.
-
Oh god how am i supposed to choose between a kangaroo and an emu!
-

I was joking and it was because "severe" was put before hypertension but not before high blood pressure.
-

Pff "severe" was a modifier of both words, silly.
-
And for the record, the Wombat is the cutest from the list!
D'awww~
-
This was the first thing that comes into my mind:
!
-
I tried to pick some of the less dangerous creatures; there's only one venomous animal on there after all.
I'm amazed that you found 8 nonvenomous Australian animals.
-
How are wombats not winning. It's the clear choice. I don't understand you arlong park. There is nothing cute about a hairy duck.
-
Since when did Australia and cuddle animal go together.

That is exactly what creature I was thinking of as a response to them!
I remember watching about the Irukandji jellyfish on a show on the Animal network. The people were looking for something else (forgot what) when they encountered this tiny jellyfish and both got stung. They kept footage in the show and shown them in the ER and describing those sensations. Its one thing to read about it another to see people actually suffer shudders -

Lol.. The funniest part is I never see any of these anywhere other than a Zoo..
Rarely even if you live in the inner part of Australia..
Im sure where you are from you have venemous animals haha
-

I know more nonvenomous Australian animals than venomous…. Could of made this list have 16 options easy ;)

City boy I take it? haha
-
Well no one has convinced me to vote yet… might just go with crocodile due to name
-
This used to be an echidna I think

I'm actually doing a poem called Irukandji :B
Oh, Kisoto remembered me. I feel special :///3
the most cuddly one? I don't know, every photo seems to say "I will fuck you right up mate".
I guess i have to go with the dropbear out of genuine fear. I've been told they murdered the prime minister of Australia and are using his skin to impersonate him and just destroy the country cause they hate everyone.
also and totally unrelated today in the morning i decided if i ever have a serious relationship (again) the person must get as excited as i get when i see a cuddly dog :3
-
No Bandicoot!? This is sacrilege!
Oh wait, apparently the Bilby is a type of Bandicoot. Bilby it is!
-

Platypus has a venemous bite.
But still, 7 is doing pretty damn well. -

Oh, that's neat. Is it actually about the jellyfish?
-
@Rogues':

Not really, it's about a Salaryman that's goes into an animal-themed brothel and encounters a woman dressed as a Jellyfish. He encounters himself with the horrible certainty of death.
Edit: uh, it goes with a theme you see…Heh.

That's an interesting story. But why would the Salaryman be overcome with the horrible certainty of death in a brothel?
Brothels aren't known for being lethal places, bad for business…(STD's excluded)
