Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. George Jones.
The time has come, my friends, to talk of many things,
Of shoes and ships and sealing-wax
Of cabbages and kings
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings
And if they did, would it mean
that dear poor Rob Lucci
would still be seen
in this, the Second Round
of a Tournament quite keen.
Right then. This year the burden of selecting the matches for the Second Round had been placed on the Satori-o-Matic Surprise Ball Selector. It has been made aware of the complaints against it and is highly displeased by said complaints. The selection process works like this: any papers were removed from the cage and were replaced with the default plastic balls. Those advancing to the Second Round were assigned a letter/number depending on how they came on. Odds went into B, evens went into I, and the leftovers went into N.

! Fury radiates from every metal joint and there are a lot of them. I'm no expert in metallic languages, but I'm pretty sure some of those creaks are promising that there will be blood.
Let's look at the matches it spat out in its rage.
Match 01: We start first with everybody's favorite Priest and the surprise of the Tournament so far, Satori, as he faces off against Captain Tashigi. It's highly anticipated so I'm not going to build it up at all beyond that.
Match 02: A bit of unfinished business remains, but we do know that Emporio Ivankov will be matched up against the winner of the current match between Usopp and Boa Hancock.
Match 03: Lady Luck must really hate him as the third match is 'Dead Bones' Brook vs Sir Crocodile. No Garp to get in the way this time!
Match 04: Flams collide when DonQuixote DoFlamingo goes up against Cutty "Franky" Flam in the fourth match of the Second Round.
Match 05: Our fifth match is mother and monster as Bellemere and Harpy Monet face off.
Match 06: STRAW WARS, EPISODE 12: RORONOA ZORO VS. SANJI. Inazuma can't stop it this time.
Match 07: Fire and Smoke at the Punk Hazard Fight Club: Commodore Smoker vs Fox-Fire Kinemon.
Match 08: All the Ls and none of the melodramatic chip-eating! It's One Piece's resident main character Monkey D. Luffy vs One Piece's resident Bleach character, Trafalgar Law!
Match 09: Flashbacks ahoy as The Pirate King, Gold Roger goes up against the reknowned Quack Doctor Hiriluk!
Match 10: Next up, Vigor and Venom, Crime and Punishment, we have Red-Hair Shanks and Vice-Warden Magellan!
Match 11: Father and Son, it's Portgas D. Ace vs Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate!
Match 12: Battle of the Formers as Ex-Shichibukai Gekko Moriah and Ex-Admiral Aokiji square off!
Match 13: It's Everybody's Favorite Okama, Bon Kurei, matched up against, you probably don't know him, but love him anyway, he's The Awesome Octopus Fishman Standing Next to Jinbe on Page 17 of Ch. 264!
Match 14: The War on Christmas comes to Arlong Park as Ener faces off with Tony Tony Chopper in the fourteenth match of the Second Round!
Match 15: Tangerines and Man-Glaze, it's Nami the Navigator vs The Dark King, Silvers Rayleigh!
Match 16: Last, but certainly not least, it's last year's Champion, Nico Robin, and the Pacifista Prime, Bartholomew Kuma!
