There is the Sakura Kingdom on Drum Island and then there is Alabastra on Sandy Island.
a more recent one is Goa Kingdom on Dawn Island (Luffy's home island)

So, if I'm reading this right, the ISLAND was called Drum Island and the Kingdom didn't have a name? Or was it Drum Kingdom, and the island didn't have a name?

So, if I'm reading this right, the ISLAND was called Drum Island and the Kingdom didn't have a name? Or was it Drum Kingdom, and the island didn't have a name?
No you're reading it wrong.
The island is named Drum Island. The government under the dynasty that Wapol belonged to was called the Drum Kingdom.
Which obviously ended after the Blackbeard attack that drove Wapol away.Which lead things to a period where the people were rebuilding and reorganizing themselves, and there was no official name for the country. Thus Dalton tells Vivi and Luffy that their country has no name.
Later (after Wapol is kicked out for good) when they finally decide on how to organize themselves, they proclaim a new government called the Sakura Kingdom.
Drum Island is a place.
Drum Kingdom and Sakura Kingdom are two different governments that have ruled the place called Drum Island. -
Oh okay… So I was right the first time... I think... Well whatever, we know the right answer now!

Is Zoros flying slash pushing back Fujitora comparable to Pre-ts Luffy kicking Akojii high up (when they first met Akojii)? Are we reading too much into how strong Zoro is due to his slash pushing The Admiral back?
Yes. .

Shouldn't salt work toys like it did on the zombies in thriller bark cause both of them are devil fruit related? Or did i miss something? because i read thriller bark a long time ago and don't remember it that well.

it should, but toys can't eat it, just go check a teddy bear, the mouth is only for the show, you can't shove anything in there

Do you think when Sugar gets knocked out, she will age to what she should be until she wakes up? Or is she eternally young?

Sugar appearing childlike physically seems to be a side effect of her DF rather than an active, conscious effect that she has to maintain.
So no, she'll remain a child even when knocked out most likely.

But, couldn't one argue the same thing about the toys she has made? She's made so many, it certainly doesn't seem really believable that she'd be actively maintaining them all.
But then, that begs the question, why should knocking her out change anything at all? Or, if it does change the toys back, shouldn't it then also change her body?
Just spitballing, here.

I'm thinking that she has to be knocked out because on some level there IS a conscious effort on her part maintaining the toys.
She had to actively go and convert people into toys, she didn't actively turn herself into a child.
Becoming a child was most likely an unintentional side effect that she can't change as long as she is the user of that particular DF, so I'm pretty sure the two are completely separate.
Leading to unconsciousness bringing about toys -> humans, but not child Sugar -> adult Sugar.

Well, that makes a lot of sense. And it certainly means that she must have a very busy mind if she's somewhat actively maintaining them all somehow. I wonder how old she really is.
What's up with that appearance changing effect that some fruits have, anyway?

Does anyone know of a list that shows what toy a named person has been turned into?
Over at OP wiki they usually have a gallery of pics of known members of a group. But under the Toys category there is no gallery.By named gallery I mean something like this=

…..Sai.................Cavendish.........Robin........I know there were more revealed (at end of recent chapter, it showed several others as toys working with their face in the thought bubble) but can't remember who and what they looked like as a toy

I remember it being said for months.. I think it was 2 or 3 … but notice the eemphasis on think
I can't remember if it was 2,3 or 6 months. -
What happens to the toys in the junkyard, broken and in pieces, once all toys become human again? Will Kyros gain both legs again?
Since its One PIece I think everything will be fine but I can think of particularly gruesome stuff.

I wonder why the recent volumes have been labeled as New World instead of Fishman Island, Punk Hazard and Dressrosa. I'd appreciate it if anyone could answer me why that is because it's been bugging me for quite some time.

This is all speculation.
We learnt that Kyros was a legendary warrior who won 3000 matches and received only one wound but some of us theorized that this story might be completely made up in order to justify the existence of a statue that nobody remembers who the guy on it is, but we learnt this chapter that Kyros is actually heading to the 3000 wins just as the story has been told, so we can also say that this 'ONE' injury is the lost of his leg. I for once don't think that he lost his leg while fighting gladiators but protecting somebody and leaving an opening for the enemy to strike since like he said this very chapter ""No matter how far I go, I'll simply be remembered as a murder. A wild beast", that said my take is no, he won't have his leg once he gets back to his human form.

Did anyone mention the similarities between Rayleigh and Zoro? Aside from both of them being first mates. Rayleigh has that huge scar on his right eye, I wonder if Zoro could open his eyes like Rayleigh's in the near future. XD

It has been mention in the past by reader only, it has been discussed to death about the first mate thingy and no curse will come out of that eye (Just in case somebody comes up with it).

does anyone has a theory of how CoC could be effective against strong opponents ? i know there's tons of theories out there
like dominating energy/matter or destroy materials and so forth
but i don't get how could one do that in a battle like using CoC as a fighting style
as oda said luffy will specialize in CoC implying that he will be using it in big fights more than CoA and CoO
any idea how is that gonna work out -
Can anyone point me to the SBS where Oda says Film Z is non-canon?

Why would he have to state that films are non-canon? ALL of them are non-canon (the Alabasta one may be an exception). When do you think they should take place in the series?

-
Haki is basically your 'will'. CoO is the ability strongly sense the 'will'\presence of others.
-
CoA is coating your self with 'will'\haki, if your 'will'\haki is strong enough you can cover your self in haki 'armor'.
-
CoC is the ability to 'intimidate' others, basically overpower their 'will'
So, what if advance CoC mastery allows for you to overpower the 'will' of your opponent enough to inhibit their ability to use haki in general? By overpowering their 'will' your opponents CoA will be weaker and more vulnerable and you could use your CoC to push your 'will' on them to the point where their CoO is limited and\or disturbed like placing a powerful magent near a compass therefore diminishing their ability to predict your movements\detect your position\presence and also be unable to strike you with enough CoA impact and\nor defend themselvs with CoA.

I think Dragon is the strongest person in one piece right now, he is the most wanted/dangerous criminal in the world because he is the biggest threat to the world government. He is also the leader of the revolutionary army as well as son of Garp and father of Luffy. It is pretty easily foretold that the son will always be stronger than the father so in the end Luffy will become the strongest until he has a child who will surpass him. Garp and Gol D Roger has fought countless times, and since Garp is still alive and doing well, he put up a pretty good fight with The Late Pirate King. And since sons always surpass their father, Dragon is stronger than Garp and since Shanks was a no name member of Gol D Roger's crew until he finally became a yonkou, this tells us that Shanks is not as strong as Dragon. And saying that Shanks can beat Dragon implies that Shanks is stronger than Gol D Roger. So my question is, why so many blinded shanks fanboys?
-
It is pretty easily foretold that the son will always be stronger than the father / And since sons always surpass their father
No … If we follow your reasoning descendant of Norlan would be a monster (Norlan killed the sea monster in the water ...). And yet it is weak in comparison to its ancestor.
this tells us that Shanks is not as strong as Dragon
So no …

This has got to be the most skewed logic based on ungrounded "facts" I've ever seen.

Here's a question.
Why are there people who can think like this even after reading 741 chapters?

I think Mr. Hippo is a troll.

Yes, I must agree.
Besides, we all know that Sakazuki is the strongest one. Not even the revolutionaries can escape the absolute magma justice!

Well Gohan didn't surpass Goku, Trunks didn't surpass Vegeta, Michael Jordan sons didn't even make it to the NBA, there are so many examples that shot your logic down that is no even funny.

Here's a question.
Why are there people who can think like this even after reading 741 chapters?
They get influenced by reviews and they like to see things their own way, is like they are overwriting One Piece on their head and once the reviews spew the same chain of thought, they just go ham.
-
This has got to be the most skewed logic based on ungrounded "facts" I've ever seen.
because there isn't any grounded facts implying who is the strongest in one piece !!
the answer to that question will always be based on mere speculationsi find his logic no different from that saying shanks is the strongest because he clashed equally with whitbeard
or blackbeard is the strongest because he's the final villain -
You're right, Dragon being the strongest because sons always surpass fathers and Shanks being crap because at one point he was a kid on a pirate crew is equally dumb as Shanks being strongest because he clashed with WB and Blackbeard being the strongest because he's the final villain.
Never did get why the final villain always has to be the strongest. If there's one manga that could go about it differently, it shoud be OP.

Do you think Akainu views Luffy to be a bigger threat than Blackbeard even with both fruits?
-
Do you think Akainu views Luffy to be a bigger threat than Blackbeard even with both fruits?
Good question and he probably do look at Luffy with different eyes just because of past experiences, he calls Luffy the Son of Dragon like they had some sort of relation in the past, so it might amounts to something.
-

Looking back at Luffy's fight against Marigold and Sandersonia, it seems that such a thing might actually be possible. Gear Second might have been enough to get through Marigold's defenses and move faster than Sandersonia could react, but it's also possible that Luffy's Conqueror Haki inhibited their abilities enough for him to defeat them.

actually gohan did surpass goku in the cell saga and then he stopped training and went to school while goku just spent his days in heaven training. same to trunks, they are living like normal educated people while vageta trained so he can beat goku one day. In other words, they chose not to become stronger, but smarter. Also goku kept being wished to be a kid again and again so he's lived way too long. Marcus Jordan didn't make it to the NBA because he quit, do you not read the news? it says he beat his dad when he was only 16 years old!! So quit bringing up false hope that shanks is the best.people like you are being obstinate and a shanks fanboy and you are just too far gone that helping you learn basic logic is a waste of everyone's time.
