There's no way it's a DF. Momonosuke has likely been turned into a dragon the same way that both of Vegapunk's dragons shown earlier this arc were, via some scientific method.

The flashback didn't bothered to me but it was a bit redundant. We already knew that Caesar is a lying bastard, that he does not care a bit about his men and that he was the one who blew the gas bomb in the first place. But we have a bit more background about Vegapunk (he is not a heartless researcher, something that was not so obvious before)
We've sorta known he's a "good guy" since Franky was told on Karakuri Island about how Vegapunk was using his creations to protect his people. And something about a deal he made with the WG for him to join them, which means he didn't join the WG just to be a dick to their enemies.

So what i think is for the samurai nation having df powers are forbidden or looked down upon.Child ate a dragon DF by accident and father ate another one to make his child feel better.They were both thrown out of their kingdom and child gets captured with the help of sleeping gas.I think father knows about the dragon DF and thats why he was angry at the dragon before.Also its possible that DF stops giantism candy from working so they separeted him from other childeren.

Possibly, a few others survived sent out a distress call the marines came and took Vegapunk. They could have given him cyborg parts in order to keep him alive, who knows. Or, maybe, Vegapunk, like, Franky, was a cyborg to begin with, maybe he experimented on himself while he was a young one, we'll see.
Smoker and his haki, it's nice to see he's dishing out a beating on Vergo. It seems as if Vergo had put hardening haki in his explosive bamboo balloon like attack but it went through Smoker instead of hitting him, does this mean Smoker used haki to counter it? Oh shiiieeetttt.
That dragon looks so funny, haha, I'm sure when he gets older he will look pretty bad @$$.

Since Donflamingo said they all need to go back to Dressrosa, I've been thinking there can't be any real battles in this arc because the gas will interrupt them. But there can be build up to the next arc with the small fights we get here, and I'm expecting the SHs to lose against Donflamingo's crew once Baby 5 and Buffalo arrive. It'd be a bit like Water 7/ Enies Lobby. The only real fight I predict is Luffy vs CC… CC will be defeated in the arc but Vergo, Monet etc will get away. There'll have to be a reason for the SHs to chase them back to Dressrosa. A trip to Wano Country on the way would fit in nicely, it seems like a good time to introduce it. Ace has been there before too, wonder if that would come up. I'd expect Zoro to gain something valuable from that visit.

I'm really torn on this… Oda just showed us Dressrosa and what I'm assuming is most of Dofla's crew in chapter 682 (including Vergo, CC and Monet), so it seems like the Straw Hats are going to Dressrosa next. But with all the little tidbits of info on Wano Country we've been getting this arc, that could be the next arc too, and on top of that Oda leaving a notebook with 'Wano Kuni' written on it on his desk at the One Piece Ten exhibition earlier this year, makes it seem like he's trying to tell us that it's next.

What a great chapter! I loved the interaction between G5 and Sanji. He's been getting some really great moments with characters outside of the crew this arc. Caesar is, as always, loltastic and makes some of the best faces ever.
I'm laying down a prediction, though, speaking of Caesar: Franky will end up thwarting his plan by using radical beam from the other side of the R-66 gate after moving Thousand Sunny around to help the strawhats get away.

I'm so glad I've been reading Mangastream lately. That page divide MangaPanda's been doing lately is the last straw. For me. Mangastream's translation of that one mohawked Marine admitting he grew a "man-crush" on Sanji when he fought Vergo is much funnier, as was their translation of Sanji's response to Tashigi.

Seriously, MangaPanda half-asses these translations in so many ways.
Also, Momonosuke looks like he ate the Dragon-Dragon fruit: Model Shenlong (Though really Mythical devil fruit: Model Dragon). Also, a very good sign that Luffy is not going to be stuck in that basement for several chapters on end, since I'm very sure that dragon can fly.
Also, we've seem more of the chivalrous/gentlemanly side of Sanji than we've seen in quite a long time, especially since his psychological breakdown since his exile in the Kamabakka Kingdom.

Seeing how Caesar would probably have wanted Sakazuki in charge…did he do something so that Kuzan lost? :OAlso, Brownbeard is most likely headed to the "Secret Room" too, because all men seem gathered there.
