@maxterdexter:
Considering that Shanks was last seen in Marijoa, his crew can't be that far.
I don't doubt that a Yonko can move quickly. But I'm less sure about Lola and her crew.
The weeding having taken place in elbaf itself is a stretch, if not impossible, if you remove that assumption,
I don't think I ever implied that the wedding took place in Elbaf? There were cactuses there, and the island is supposedly "ruined".
place the weeding in any other "last island" of paradise, any of the other islands before Fishman island in the log pose, or around them, then what is the problem?
So you're expecting me to buy that Shanks upended his whole operation, leaving his territory undefended, to have one of his crewmembers' wedding in paradise? That's so contrived. They would all have to move back to the New World anyway, so that's just a giant detour for no reason. The marines scramble and its a huge event when Yonko make huge moves like that. Akainu wouldn't be sending Fujitora to deal with the Dressrosa situation if there was a yonko and his crew heading straight for them at the same time.
All this just to explain away Lola being in a bar in Water 7…
Lola's coverstory happened on chapter 654, the newspaper of the day after the timeskip, while Shank's was on chapter 838, the day after the fall of Doffy, I'd place that timespawn at around 2 weeks, max, without any detours it is plausible to get to an early new world island from Water 7 in that time.
The timeline of events in the new world is actually really well established. Characters are constantly saying in how many days things will happen, which gives us hard numbers to work with.
