Baby 5 has a cool Art Deco design going on. Actually both Baby 5 and Buffalo do. (At least in this chapter). Art Deco is something we haven't really seen in One Piece yet

That was epic but the fact Kinemon got hit by the gas makes me feel like someone will find a way to reverse the effects and no-one will die from it, which would be utter horseshit

Usopp's slingshot is alive. shudders Sorta sad that him defeating fodder was skipped, but the very notion that he is able to is nice.
Still calling bull on CC not using his broken Pompei abilities to stop Luffy and just trying to "reason with him". At least Luffy's hands were affected by the gas.

the only disappointing part is that Kinemon was hit by the gas (thought it was very funny at 1st haha), so for sure (or a very high chance) there will be a way to revive him.

i guess those who got affected by shinokuni arent dead. oda wont kill kinemon and somehow he will survive which means that the marines and brownbeard's crew will survive as well. oda doesnt even want to kill some fodder char eh?
i think franky will stall buffalo 5 (easier to call them that) long enough for law and luffy to arrive in the scene.

Probably the best chapter in this arc.So many things in this one.The "shadow brokers" are moving,Ceaser is out,Kinemon is out,new DF users and General Franky is about to kick some ass.Great chapter!I am excited as hell for the next one.

I just feel like it undermines CC in a big way, he's meant to be this genius/deranged scientist who also happens to be a gas logia. Yet his big experiment he's been working on for years is curable? Hardly a weapon of mass destruction. I suppose it will probably be used to hype Chopper

I think even though the Shinokuni affected the hands, the CoA hardening protected Luffy from getting harmed.

The second part of the chapter deserves a 12/10 for me. SO. DAMN. FUN!!!!!
Shadow brokers got more interesting too.
And we all knew Luffy would throw the plan to hell.
And Usopp's new slingshot is fucking cool, with that Mario Bros. maneating plant implented and all.

. . .but it's TOO BAD that Shinokuni will get a treatment. And thus, everyone will be saved.
But seriously, with the hilarity that is Baby5 and Buffalo, and the supremeness that is General Franky awaiting them, this is all oh so forgiven.

luffy's attacks are named after guns. elephant gun and grizzly magnum are real gun names.

.Franky has to do something after being absent for so many chapters. I believe its his time to shine but i wonder how will it work out. I will be dissapointed if franky does nothing there.
I wonder if its time for us to see just how much one of the SH, other than Luffy, has changed over the timeskip. Its the perfect opportunity, all we saw from the SHs was just some glimpse here and there.Zoro did say that New world starts here (to luffy but it applies to the entire crew) in a previews chapter.Baby 5 for next SH :wub::wub::wub:
Nice to see the brokers again. Although there is another hint that the Yonkou might not be big mom i start to believe that the Yonkou they are talking about is Kaidou. Especially after the new name shown here "Jack".
Seeing killer shows that the Kid-Hawkins-Apoo conversation is over and i get the feeling that he will contact Law-Luffy alliance to join them.

I really, really hope that they're only able to save Kinemon and won't be able to go back to save any of the others. So much of the drama of this arc would be completely nullified. And like others are saying, the idea that even fodder can't die in the New World is a joke.
On the upside, I'm liking Baby 5. Don't really care much for Buffalo. Just kinda hoping they don't extend this arc for too long. I was expecting them to show up after the heroes have left.

100% Agree. All his evil deeds don't have anywhere near as much impact if it can all be brushed off by everyone.
But most of the island is still covered in gas, so maybe they'll be able to save Kinemon, but only because they could treat him quickly enough? I'd be alright with that.

b/c of what happened to kinemon, im thinkin the experiment was a failure and all it did was cover the ppl in some substance that can be broken with them ok inside…
im seriously hoping this isnt the case. in fact i would like some casualties but if not i'll just wait and see how oda explains it out.
apart from that, cool chapter. i felt annoyed at luffy but ended up just laughing at the end at the conversation between him and law. luffy is just a selfish idiot lol. im interested in how buffalo's power will play out. maybe we'll actually see what battle franky is actually made of. plus with DD tellin them to hurry and get back leaving monet and vergo there says to me he was uncertain of those two being able to handle everyone. law's pissed and rightfully so. i guess this gives motive to law's betrayal that ppl want to see so bad. from the looks of things i dont think ceasar is that far away so i think its possible for law and luffy to catch up to him.

Haha I remember some wishing that one of Usopp's plants eats a DF but I don't think we suspected that the plants somehow fused with his slingshot…now we know why he changed from the awesomely big (and green) Kabuto for the Kuro Kabuto...now we just need to learn how ... (is it a DF or began as a plant?) and see the rest of crew's expression when they finally realize it!That "chomp chomp" reminds me of that ball & chain thats alive that Rakuyo of the Whitebeard pirates uses
