luffy's attacks are named after guns. elephant gun and grizzly magnum are real gun names.
I see! Thanks for the info

I just feel like it undermines CC in a big way, he's meant to be this genius/deranged scientist who also happens to be a gas logia. Yet his big experiment he's been working on for years is curable? Hardly a weapon of mass destruction. I suppose it will probably be used to hype Chopper
100% Agree. All his evil deeds don't have anywhere near as much impact if it can all be brushed off by everyone.
But most of the island is still covered in gas, so maybe they'll be able to save Kinemon, but only because they could treat him quickly enough? I'd be alright with that.
Woooooooooooooo Franky!
Loved Caesars last desperate attempt at stopping Luffy. But that attack name… "Grizzly Magnum"? Not Elephant Bazooka? Not sure if translation problem or Oda randomness..
Seeing all those underworld guys again was great. "Jack", "The League", hurrah for more mysteries! :D
Torao and Kemurin? Really? lol
Goooo Franky! Don't let Baby 5 and Buffalo get Caesar back! No matter how awesome (Baby 5)/weird (Buffalo)they look.
Good chapter!
Nice to see that Vergo realy is well and truly defeated, and that Law intends to keep it that way with him hung up all along the fence in little Vergo bits. Also that all Vergo had to say about it was that he wouldn't be able to eat breakfast tomorrow was brilliant.
An ominous hint about Doffy's shady past? Intriguedness! I reeaaaly hope we continue on to deal with him in the next arc.
Usopps speech to the henchies was great, and I kind of hope that he doesn't take them all out. Caesar has used and lied to them almost as much as the children.
Can't wait to see the result of Elephant Bazooka next chapter!
Also, I really want Franky to be back again soon. I wonder what he's built on the Sunny.. Somewhere for all the damn people escaping the lab to stay? A super anti-shinokuni fan? A fancy new barrel for Caesar to go in? Mysteries!
I'm hopeing Usopp finds some neat stuff in the secret room. Something to give him a few more gadgets and ways of fighting would be great.
If it's seastone, maybe he (and perhaps the other less powerfull members of the crew) will be able to take on those troublesome logias in the future!
Phwoar…
It would have been cool to see Vergo fight in his super haki-man form a bit, but then again having that reveal and then Law doing his thing straight away made it all pretty fantastic.
I guess he was the result of someone focusing on training just a single form of haki, like Reyleigh mentioned to Luffy just before the time skip?
I'm interested to see what Usopp will do in the 'secret room' (unless he does just find some seastone cuffs, say thanks and leave again), and how Kinemon will try to get back to the little dragon he now thinks is Momo (I may have missed it, but how did he find out that his son had been turned into one?) is in the middle of a room now filled with gas.
And that Doflamingo face... It's nice to see that now things really are going wrong for him, and that he will take this threat seriously. Is this the first time we've seen him without a massive grin? Can't wait to see more of him soon.
All in all, superfantasticahmahgadAWESOME chapter, and I think it got me excited to see what's to come more than anything!
I wouldn
t say Magellan is Evil. In fact he
s actually one of the "good guys" but hes on the other side of the scope. You know what happens when different wills collide. "I wanna save my brother" VS "I have to protect the civilians from scumbag pirates" How would he know Luffy is not one of those scumbags?. Magellan is extremely reliable, loyal and a force to be wary of but he isn
t rotten in spite of all that venom he`s got in store.I`m positive that under other circumstances in a paralel world Magellan and Luffy could be the best friends ever.
I felt kinda bad for Magellan, he was just trying to do his job! Then all these damn pirates kept showing up and breaking all his stuff. Hanyabal wasn't exactly much help, either.
@The:
Magellan was pretty awesome, but as far as decidedly evil antagonists go, Caesar is the best one to come along in ages. Hody who?
People might say he's "cartoonishly evil", and lament that his motivation is just an arrogant egotrip. Pish tosh, I say he's absurdly entertaining, and I'd much rather have him than some Naruto style "Deep" or redeemable villain.
Pish tosh indeed! Cartoonishly evil is fine by me if it's fun to watch. Laughable one moment and utterly despicable the next is a fine way to be in the world of One Piece. Here's hoping we see more baddies as entertaining in the future.

Caesar, at this rate you're contesting Spandam on my villain rankings, you magnificent bastard you
I think he is my favorite One Piece villain at this point. The faces, the monologues… All so very stereotypically dastardly evil mad scientist, but still brilliant.
Well damn.
I'm actually interested in the cover story now, it'll be interesting to see who Caribou runs into on Kaido's island!
I happened to go back over some of the the stuff in Sabaody today, and during all the stuff in the auction house, while Disco is on the den-den-mushi with Doflamingo, he tells him:
"human trade is old news, this is the age of smiles"
I guess the SAD is what he was referring to way back then!!
Poor Brownbeard :( I can't help but feel sorry for the guy.
Hoping next week the henchies get the cameras ready just in time for Caesars defeat to be shown to the world!
