I think that there's certainly some division between Devil Fruits that can and can't work when the user's unconscious. Obviously Luffy's does and Buggy's does, but I think it's reasonable for powers like Decken's and Shiki's to be cancelled out when they become unconscious.

I allways had in my idea 3 sub-types of paramecia:
1-Changes the properties of the body, making him flexible like rubber, able to sleep…
2-Ennables you to create stuff out of thin air, but does not change your body, like mr3's candle (since he obviously is not tough as tough as his wax) and Megalen (he's not made of poison...)
3-Random things which work different in each case.

Of course this is a general way of putting it, and Paramecia is basically a "Doesn't fit Zoan, not a Logia, goes there", but I like thinking this way.
But if you look at it this way, you can see that type 1 and 2 are obviously still effective when the user is uncouncious/touching sea stone/water.
The 3rd type is the wild card. There are many weird types of paramecia, and Oda just goes by what feels better. Anything moving by a devil fruit user power should stop moving if the user goes unconscious (this is actually true in every case). So Moria's shadow thingy stops if Moria is KO'd, flying things fall... and things like that.

Actually half way through I realized all those arguments were unnecessary, but I still find the types a neat way of tiding it. Anyway I just needed to say:
Everything that moves by DF powers stops when the user is KO'd. and this is true in every case. (brooks soul doesn't count, does it???)

Type 1 DF users don't turn back to normal when unconscious cause the whole point of the devil fruit is that it turns them into wtv FOREVER. Even when they die I still think they will be like that. (I'm not a fan of the whole little devil living the body back to the tree thingy. I think its more like the decaying body makes the nutrients for a plant suitable for that fruit to grow in that spot. And so DF trees are planted in graveyards, I think it would be a cool scene... but that's just me daydreaming)

There are sagas and there are arcs. Sagas are combinations of different arcs with single objectives, and with added small arcs that are too exclusive to have their own sagas, so fit on one of the sagas.

East Blue Saga (Beginning until LogueTown)
Baroque Works Saga (Laboon until Alabasta)
Skypiea Saga (Mocktown until Skypiea)
CP9 Saga (Foxy Arc until Enies Lobby)
Whitebeard War Saga (Thriller Bark until TimeSkip)
??? Saga (Fishman Island until…)

Regarding Arcs, pretty much everytime the SH's leave a island/location and enter another, its a different arc, so there are a lot of different ones.

Has Chopper developed some kind of CoO? I'm referring to when he was underground, and told Usopp to duck just before he popped out and KO:ed that fishman. If not for CoO, how could he have known that 1) Usopp was being attacked and 2) that Usopp should duck in order to dodge the attack while giving Chopper a clean shot to KO him? As I understood it he was underground and couldn't have "seen" this in any other way..

So we got 2 weeks of speculating the outcome of Noah's dropping. Hitting FI right now is a bad idea, because the matchup is just decided and it must continue, so it'll probably miss. But how? Will Shrahoshi's powers manifest and bring forth a school of seakings, or will luffy use some uber-giganto hands? I think Oda will most likely surprise us with this one.

If Coribou doesn't, he'll be killed so if things turn out bad and there's no way to stop the Noah Coribou will have no choice. It'd be funny if he would become the hero of Fishmen Island. He'd be a bit like Buggy.

Chopper smelled Dosun and told Usopp to duck, if anything I think it was just luck because the original plan was to just blow up Daruma

I have a theory about caribou. His infinite space allows him to suck in everything, but i think that the more he stores, the less control he'll have of what to shoot back out. So i think he will be forced by the strawhats (kinda like in arabasta where sanji beat up Mr.3 to make key for the cage) to suck in Noah, and release in a safer area, and while he does it, everything else he sucked in will be let out too, hence da mermaids, and thats when he'll get owned even more. So he'll be like an erupting volcano, or what happens after you eat mexican food :)

He doens´t need the strawhats to force him :V he will either be crushed for the ark, absorb it (therefore happening what you said), or doing watevs else Oda comes up with

Besides, even if the Mugiwara already know he´s a logia, they don´t know yet he can turn into a swamp (they may figure it out later, tho)

If we look at one piece's average endurance, I'd bet that coribu can survive that pressure. WHen robin said zoro that the pressure would kill him, they were +7000 metres below.
