So far for the retarded argument… Why the fuck won't he go down? Luffys pain and fatigue is still there... Urouges argument was better. Though it's a speculation about Kizarus way of dealing with opponents. He could have also beamed luffys hands away.. Think about it!

What exactly is your point? Luffy didn't go down, he got back up thanks to Iva after all this, and got even further than before.
Kizaru was too busy fighting WB to warp away, the only thing he could do was shoot at Luffy, (considering "if he really is as fast as light, he would fight the war on his own" argument), shooting at Luffy's body is not a guarantee that he doesn't free Ace.
Shooting at the key, is 100% guarantee that he doesn't free Ace.

Btw the main point is that it was OK before that he was shooting people through their bodies (they are easier to hit anyway) but then Oda suddenly shows us that Kizaru is such a precision marksman that he can snipe a key in half from so far away.. which shows that he has been horsing around dealing crappy laser blasts all this time.

There is no difference in the instinct department, whether a beam is coming for Luffy or the key, especially when the key is . Kizaru is not holding back he doing what oda wants him to do . If oda wanted he could made luffy dodge the attack or even move out of the way . The key need to get destroy so Mr 3 could get his time to shine .

We have people dodging PX laser over and over , we have marco having time to get in front of kizaru attacks to save WB . None of those things should have happen if the beams were moving any where near light speed .

We've never seen it, but Ace put the cross hairs on Black Beard, so I don't see why Kizaru couldn't do the laser pointer.

Hitting the key from that distance meaning Kizaru must be a very well trained sniper (may be the best sniper in the world cause the war is going on and the ground must be shaking which will make aiming really really hard)

1. i think he is sure able to do so, like mentioned that also ace was able to do so..
but in fact does this rly help him..having a little dot on a key is from such a far distannce not rly something you can spot easily and so it won`t be much of a help in my eyes..

but here i think he just is a skilled sniper..as an admiral he well-trained his abilitys and so shooting even such a small object is sure something which lies in his abilitys.

you know there is other way to free. ace he can't move because his handcuff was chained to the platform. if some one cut that chain (i doubt that chain is also made by seastone) or destroy that platform ace can be released (although he still has his seastone cuff on). why do you think the pirate trying to reach ace first rather than trying to find the key ?

And I think that's exactly the point. Kizaru IS being leisurely about it and not taking it seriously, despite the nature of the war. Even back on Shabandy it was all just a game to him. He'd stop and watch a crazy dance attack just to see what it did. Kick Rookies around just for fun with no real intent on capturing them right then. Ride a cannonball. Use the wrong comminicator watch.

He enjoys messing around with those weaker than him, which is… pretty much everyone. And he doesn't take anything seriously, and to that end, doesn't seem to enjoy taking lives either. He's been conntet to just knock people unconscious thus far. That's just how he's been. (He was GOING to headshot Oars, because Oars just wouldn't stay down. But he seemed dismissive and annoyed that it had come down to needing such.) That he kept finding Luffy and just took the time to kick him backwards, because it amused him to see Luffy keep trying, it wasn't until what, the third time? that he actually shot Luffy down.

And on top of everything else, just because he can sprint distances at the speed of light isn't the same as his thinking and moving nonstop at that speed. (He still took a boat to get to shabondy afterall, he didn't just zip over, so he has limits) He has to turn elemental to achieve that speed. Otherwise, he walks, aims, and kicks, at normal speeds. (Or, even if he CAN move that quick, thus far he has opted to move at a leisurely jaunt at all times, so that's clearly just his nature.)

No..Sengoku was using his ability, that would all be a waste of time and chapterfilling if Kizaru finished them all from a distance. He was just stalling for Sengoku..

Yeah, I've been wondering about this too.

While I really want Ace to go beserk and burn some marines now, I wouldn't be surprised if he helped Jozu and Marco out first. And I could also see him not letting Luffy out of his sight until they're safe. Honestly, Luffy and Ace fighting together would be sweet.

Disagree here. I agree with you on how he thinks its a game but I don't think he has any qualms about killing. He was gonna Hawkins straight away after having his fun and Hawkins was only saved by Sentomarou's call. Same with Zoro. He LIKES messing around but to say he would rather avoid killing…

As to the key issue, personally I think it was Sengoku's transformation that was the root of it. Kizaru saw Sengoku go all out and decided to just destroy the key and leave the rest to him. Him transforming was a very rare event in its own right.

I wouldn't have minded if the war had lasted longer but at this point it will just be more humiliation for the marines.. I mean, besides maybe whitebeard everyone will get away safely anyway, otherwise the whole point of rescuing Ace would have been moot. So next chapter we will probably see Ace kick some ass, he'll thaw Jozu and rescue Marco (they were probably a setup for Ace to do something useful once he got out), and it would be really cool if the cliffhanger could finally be Blackbeard doing his thing, whatever it is. fingers crossed

I did not say he has to show up in the war perse, although I expect him to (or there would be another reason for why the Gates of Justice were opened). I just want him to show us whatever he had planned to "shock the world" because it has to happen before this arc is over, he said in ID he'd do it in 3 hours and that time has almost passed now. Now that Ace is free the war will wrap up so Blackbeard's contoctions are what I am most curious about now.

I'm referring to an established opponent. He shot Marco in the back, but he had established himself as Marco's opponent beforehand. He shot a defenseless target, but he had established himself as an opponent before hand. I can not think of a single time that he attacked someone with first establishing himself as their opponent.

You gotta concider the character's own opinion too. If I were Kizaru and had his "bully"-traits, I would've fired at the key too, because that way Luffy would truly feel his defeat before actually getting crushed along the way. Every character doesn't always choose the smartest route to handling a matter, if the author just cares enough.

I suspect it would be beneath them to pay much attention to the faces of such "minor" subordinates. They probably weren't expecting someone as weak as Mr. 3 would even dare to come that close to them.
