Damn it! I just got this song out of my head recently! …but yeah. Change some lyrics, and replace the zombie quotes with the Naruto zombie quotes, and it should be good. We ought to make fun of the ridiculousness of the zombies anyway since this could likely be the last Naruto thread since the manga's looking to end soon.

If Kishi ever remembers the 7 swordsmen they'll have been offscreened for sure. Because actually giving them an awesome fight scene with Kakashi after having hyped them so much would actually be a GOOD idea and Kishi just can't have that anymore
I'll play devils advocate I guess, I'm giving Kishi the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to prove me wrong (probably gonna regret it) on this one. Even though hes been infamous for just forgetting about story lines and side-characters but during a war arc its bound to happen. Even during Marineford Oda cut away from fights for long periods of time, and forgot/ignored a lot of characters and skirmishes. If you have an arc with a ton of characters and mass fighting, unless you pair up fights between characters (which is very un-war like) you are bound to not be able to show every fight.
Now that being said, I don't like the concentration on characters that mean nothing me (fox twins vs cloud guy and sword mustache vs sythe guy) and the zombie with the same personality as they had with their are alive thing is getting repetitive and annoying.
I'm wondering how much further away Kishi is going to stray from the main plot.

People forget, Marineford is only the halfway mark for the series, the real series climax where everyone shows their all won't be for a decade yet. It'd be really dissapointing to know everything Doflamingo or Mihawk could do already.
I have to agree with Johnny's post above, Sunny. Oda is only half way done with the story while we have Kishi here trying to stretch out an already used up and exhausted story.

The chapter is out.
Well that was disappointing.
We got TWO missed moments of awesome in ONE chapter: first Chouji going rampage, followed by an instant switch to Naruto and then some generic joke instead of a 8- vs 9-tails battle.
Oh well, at least it looks like things are going to speed up a bit now.
Why does Asuma say, "I'm so moved… I can't move.", isn't he not supposed to have control over his body in the first place? Also, if Naruto's guards want to keep the war a secret from Naruto, why don't they wear their old head bands instead of the new ones?
