1.He doesn't like to do things himself, so he tells other people to do it.

3. Wears a mask, but claims he is Uchia Madara(why where a mask then)
4. He loves to watch fights, so much so that he tells Zetsu to record fights.

7. outspec he doesn't want peace. He already admitted that to naruto when he called him out.
8. Madara has had to change his plans slightly for various reasons. Members dying, Naruto beating pein etc…. He even says he took a gamble on Sasuke because he might of choose to protect the leaf or hate them.so madara is this guy:

@Juju: I was just outlining 3 goals Madara has stated he wants to achieve. The Sasuke vs. Naruto fight was one of them.
I doubt Madara doesn't want to revive the Juubi and put the entire world under hypnosis. And I doubt Madara doesn't want to achieve perfection. He may be a liar but he dreams big. Madara attempting to achieve anything less than perfection and total world domination would be uncharacteristic of him. Maybe he doesn't want to create peace with the Moon's Eye Plan but it's not really peace anyway. Putting the entire world under hypnosis is a false sense of peace.

I'm guessing the "whole world" to Madara is the whole Ninja World (the 5 great countries). That's all he really cares about. Either that or it's going to be a two day operation.

Actually, the Naruto world has two moons, and Madara will attempt to use them both.
But then it will turn out one of them is an ancient alien weapon built to destroy the planet should it ever become 'contaminated'.
Then we realize the horrible truth: The Naruto world is actually Earth, and Sasuke will kill himself so that the human race may live while Madara turns into a dragon. -

Am I the only one on the planet who really didn't like Part 1 for the most part? In my opinion the early volumes (Zabuza, Chuunin Exam) were overrated and lots of Part 2 is underrated.
I feel so alone.
I agree with the assessment that one could not really call Naruto a "good" series overall though.

The Chunin exam was the peak of the series.
Part 2 is is just awefull, no underrating at all. & overall I wouldn't call Naruto good, but I've still seen worse.

Apart from the superior art and characterization, the thing that will always put part 1 over part 2 for me is that the story has a much more logical flow, with well defined arcs that also worked as individual stories.

You're now qualified for moving along in the ninja education-->Chuunin exam arc
Crap, our hokage died -->Tsunade Arc
Crap, the events in the Tsunade arc caused Sasuke to defect --> retrieve Sasuke arc (1)Most of Part 2 is just this terrible hodgepodge of training montages, flashbacks dozens of years into the past, failed attempts to capture Naruto and Killerbee, failed attempts to capture Sasuke, Akatsuki member of the week showing up to be defeated, and characters bumping into each other at random and fighting in general. Repeated numerous times, not neccesarily in that order.
This leads to such arcs as "Sasuke walks around and fights people Arc" and single events getting classified as an arc, like the "Pain in Konoha arc". -

Okay. Inserting BW Megatron dialogue into any of Madara's speeches immediatley makes him better.
Lets do that from now on.
Maybe Madara's Moon Eye plan could be replaced with Megatron's time travel plan.

That, and both of them were brought back as horrible abominations against nature, except Dinobot had more of his pride intact.

The only reason I didn't really like Part 1 (even though I did enjoy it overall) is b/c I only started to read Naruto few months back, most of the story was already spoiled to me & I knew all the major incidents through out the entire manga. The only reason I ever read it was b/c I was bored & wanted to verify by myself if it's as bad as people portrays it.
It's really hard for like something when you are skeptical about it from the very beginning (Specially when it's NOT that good).
And the main reason I didn't really like Zabuza arc which everyone is praising was b/c I really disliked Haku. Plus I hated to see Kakashi (who I thought was a cool character back then) reach his limit so early in the manga.

We saw shikamaru and choji doing some great stuff in the past, so i was thinking: this time Ino will do something great (maybe a new power)versus Z. Asuma.
Why Kill/hype choji one more time ?

It'd be hilarious if Choji died for real this time.
Or it turned out he's been a zombie all along.
Or it could be the pinnacle of bad writing with him surviving the suicide pill TWICE.
Shame, since this is the one match up other than Naruto/Jiraiya that could have some actual emotion and attachment to it with characters that aren't total random fodders.

So did I get this right: Choji, who had a symbolical and meaningful death back in the Sasuke-in-the-barrel arc, got resurrected as a butterfly and is going to flutter by zombie Asuma into dust.
