It seems a bit strange that Oda decided to go after Don flamingo so soon after having just weakened the shichibukai group as a whole. Three or four of the seven have somewhat befriended or assisted Luffy (hawkeye for zoro) in the past, which makes them unlikely to be potential enemies for the entire crew in the future (excluding mecha Kuma). I'm hoping once Dessarosa is finished we'll see the shichibukai group made a dangerous threat once again, and strengthened to a level that fits the new world, because quite frankly the shichibukai don't quite invoke the same fear as when they were first introduced. I'm hoping each future shichibukai member will be much closer in strength to a pre-time skip admiral, and not quite so gimmicky.

There was a chance for that until Oda decided to make Buggy a Shichibukai.

No, the four who joined BB in Level 6 were just the ones who agreed to it. The other Level 6 escapees were the people in other cells who killed their cellmates but didn't agree to join BB.

Speaking of tigers, did you know that there is no a single documented case of a lion ever killing a tiger of equal health and growth? Tigers and Lions collide quite frequently in the wild, as well as being pitted against each others in ancient roman animal arenas. The Siberian tiger is a damn monster, reaching over 110kilos heavier than the heaviest Lion subspecies, and have 20% the body mass.
The scary part is that while Lions groups in groups and depend on overpowering its prey by leaping and holdinig it down with its strong formidable frontal set of legs while basicly starting to prey on its victim alive, a tiger has faster reflexes and has to be cornered in order to be caught. in a 2011 zoo accident a tiger was able to take out a leaping, attacking lion with one swift precisive swipe aimed at the Lions Jugular Vein, completley ripping the throat apart causomg the lion to die in mid-air and spray blood all over the Zoo cage and lose 70% of its blood before the caretakers managed to get the Tiger sedated and intervene, with the small "Passing cell" being covered in a pond of lion blood reaching 3cm.
completley off-topic but interesting. i always pictured lions to be physically stronger. All of those Royal/Noble Houses with Lions on their coats better feel stupid now!

They probably meant the past tense. Tigers and lions coexisted in central India until the mid nineteenth century until lions were nearly wiped out from India by rampant poaching. There have been talks of reintroducing lions in tiger reserves but that hasn't took off mostly because the tigers would swat away the lions.

Something along those lines. Every pirate ship jolly roger has a stylised skull from straw hats and heart pirates to many others so it doesn't give any clues to his devil fruit.

He could never pose a threat to luffy in the first place, much less so with the introduction of haki. There is very little he could contribute to the story at this hour, the 7 need something else than another punching bag or comic relief character.

But Enel is awesome, he doesn't have to be Luffys opponent. Pretty much every enemy Luffy ever defeated came back as his friend. Enel should lead the Shinshi crew and future SH wing the lightning space pirates of doom.

There are several likely candidates for the seventh, the Mayor from the Buggy arc, Patty from the Baratie, Onion from Usopp's hometown, Laboon.
The list goes on and on.
In all seriousness, I'm curious as to what pirate could be the seventh Schishibukai that we haven't heard of unless he's just exclusively been in the New World. All the big names whether it be the Yonko or the Worst Generation are mentioned frequently so it'd surprise me if it's someone we've absolutely had no knowledge of since he'd need to have a certainly large reputation to be brought into the Shichibukai ranks. Unless, like I said, he's been exclusively in the New World. Though, as Buggy has proven, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be strong…...but I'm sure he will be.

It is possible Buggy got stronger during the time skip, but he did initially get the letter for it immediately after the war.

You forget that Enel has the most powerful Observation Haki in the whole series. Not trying to be a fanboy or anything, but if he does come back he had better improve his durability because although Crocodile was a Logia he took Luffy's hits like a tank.
